Wager Thinking and Figuring
« on: June 12, 2022, 01:24:07 am »
The left side represents non tangibles and influential factors in your baccarat play.  The right side represents the tangibles you govern or should be governing.

Everything will mix up in the middle constantly throughout your play.

Beliefs                                                           Buy In (Figuring Drawdown)

Strategy                                                        Win/Loss

Vision                                                            1/3-1/3-1/3 Money Mgt. Method
Illusion                                                          Set Aside
Perceptions
Expectations

Influences                                                      1 + 4 Side Parlay Wagers

Frame of Mind                                                Time Played

The Middle.  Mixing Up With Every Wager.  The left and right side above mixes up and you should be conscious of it all EVERY HAND.

Here are the two things you should be asking yourself and ultra concentrating on EVERY WAGER:

1) Direction of thought and attack.

2) Recognition and Identify shoe presentments every couple to few hands.

Keeping in mind, not what you are wanting the shoe to do but, what the shoe is actually doing.

Okay, here I will attempt to explain.

I have found that there is a difference in the way one thinks at the table, as compared to off the table. That is because emotional and intangible responses do affect you (the LEFT side in the above post).  You cannot simply flip a switch and turn off all of your feelings when you sit down at the baccarat table.  So you have to deal with that fact. Easy, no. Possible to an extent, yes.

Enter the Direction of Thought and Attack you engage in, merged with the tangible Recognition and Identifying shoe presentments every two-three hands.

Ask yourself at each wager, “What am I thinking“?  Ask yourself, “Why do I think that”?

Those are your ‘Directions of Thought’ and ultimately will subconsciously produce your ‘Attack’ to place your wagers.

Whether it is a doubt of continuance and the choice to wager the alternative side, or the thought to wager with a continuing ‘certain something’.  It needs thought, rather than let’s follow the player because the 3rd card for players hand was an 8.  Or,  let’s follow banker because bankers last hand was a natural.

Get it out of your mind, ‘the shoe must do so and so because of (whatever)’, while pointing to the board or following the largest player which seems to be totally convinced of such and such. Play your own game with Thought and Attack merged with what the shoe is actually doing, big difference with the all too common, what you desire for it to produce.

Here, tell me if I’m right or wrong please. The other players are following the board with their defined upcoming hand, ‘Has to be so-and-so’. And it happens. They pointed to the board and explained it to the max, a scene repeated all the time. Flipside, with the same hand it fails. Nothing, long faces, no pointing just at the very most, an ‘Oh well’.

To myself, there are very limited amount of triggers that seem to appear far in excess of 50% of the shoes I play. Likewise those that I do not believe in or recognize, might very well be your triggers which means, they work for you. No matter if it’s a lucky guess or a well thought out mathematical piece of information that can be utilized in your favor, it really doesn’t matter.  It was still Thought and Attack that allowed you to win. Why the cards formed the hand that allowed you to win really does not matter, what mattered is that you chose the correct wagering position.

Bottom line. We all need ‘Direction of Thought’, (why we are thinking what we do with conscious acknowledgment) and same for ‘Attack’ (why we are wagering what we do with conscious acknowledgment).

Recognition and identifying shoe presentments every 2-3 hands should allow you to realize what has a greater chance of actually happening, rather than looking at the last 7-10-15 or greater hands and desiring the same to continue or produce the opposite because such and such has not appeared yet.  SIDE NOTE.  Why in the heck do you think the casinos spent thousands and thousands of dollars and continuous maintenance on those electronic score boards if they absolutely help the players choose what wager to make?

The most important thing you have to learn, is to know what you don’t know. You have to realize you can better your knowledge, your mind of the game and set aside that overpowering ego, those hampering desires and the growing wishes that only lead you to losses.

Good points.

Sometimes if you can't stay away from betting as the actual picture is too undefined, you may choose the option to get your strategic plan to lose even if you're winning.
After all we've managed to lose the two previous hands and actually a third losing hand came out (but we bet the opposite side our strategy dictated).
So we have won.

Big difference between losing three hands in a row and losing two hands followed by a win.
