Wow...i wasn't far out x1.5 to turn 500k into millions of spins
So....playing inside...there is a max waiting to happen every spin.

QuotePerhaps sleepers are always at their limit in one group or another....somewhere in the roulette universe
isn't that worth thinking about.

Exactly. The number of possible combinations of 6 numbers out of 37 is 2,324,784  :o

Bayes

Quote from: Turner on August 05, 2013, 06:55:11 PMThen....as it won't pass 93, one of these numbers has to show in the next 4 spins....so says the theory.

Strictly speaking, the theory doesn't say that. Actually, it's not even a theory, but the empirical data says that it's unlikely you'll get more than 93 spins without a sleep, it doesn't say that given that it has slept for 89 spins, it will show in the next 4 (but it's an easy mistake to make). Also, it's worth keeping in mind that SOME selection of 6 numbers will always be a long sleeper, you just don't know which 6 in advance.

Think about the so called "law of the third" which says that after 37 spins there will be 12-13 numbers which haven't hit. That means that every 37 spins there is a group of numbers equivalent to a dozen or column (at least) which are still sleeping, but systems based around betting on those sleepers to wake up haven't been very successful. Mind you, with careful MM, you can do pretty well playing that way.

Sorry...Im not saying it's a theory, I meant my theory for the purposes of this experiment.

No, but Im practically testing the 12M spin data...that's all

You do if you find 6 sleepers when tracking 89...which just happens time and again.

Basically Bayes, Im playing around...its like a party trick...but a serious party trick.
Like Dad spinning a bucket of water at the kids party and not spilling a drop.
Fun trick...but a great way to demonstrate centrifugal forces.

One other thing that can be gained.
Say I am at 89, and have 6 sleepers and it doesn't hit until 112.

there's a new max ..so how many spins to see the true max....40Million?

And how on earth am I seeing these long test maximums in 2 minuets without trying.

400K spins saw a line sleep 65.
12 Million sees 93
I see 93 in 2 minutes...This is what is itching at me.

That's true Bayes. I have been there and bought the T-shirt! (several of them)

Roy Ward Dickson might have something where he waits for one of these sleepers to appear and then starts attacking them in the hope that they will compensate from their absence with a short burst of wins. (I will start a separate topic with some of his ideas)

cheers
Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.

Turner

its hard retyping a post...no  memory of what I typed.

Basically, I ran the above file for 89 and got 6 sleepers...that 6 group hit in the next 4....sort of backing up the limit in the 12 Million spins.

Ah... sorry Turner. I think that was my fault. I must have clicked on "modify" instead of "quote" when replying to your post. After a long day I sometimes get dyslexic...  :-[

RWD "one number" is one of them ,,, i have the RX code for that one ...

What is the relevance of this data? It only talks of extremes witnessed of sleepers and repeaters.[smiley]cps/noway.gif[/smiley]

Al, you could ask the same question of ANY roulette data. After all, spins are supposed to be independent. Give me an example of some data which IS relevant (and relevant to what?).
