The strategy for tonight is the following:

$300.00 of one-time use promotion chips I will receive. $600.00 buy-in.
First wager will be $300/Promo chips and $200 live chips, if won total of $700 sits there.
Divide up to 4 wagers of $175.00 each.  ($400 back in pocket and risk only the $200) Then w/$700:

First wager attempt of $175 parlay one time for a second wager of $350.00.  If won, $700 & pull down.
Second wager of $175 parlay a second wager of $350 and a third wager of $700.  If won, $1,400 & pull down.
Third wager of $175.  (if won the first two as outlined above, don't know yet)
Fourth wager of $175.  (if won the first two or three as outlined above, don't know yet)

(see what happens on the the first two wagers of the $175's, if lost, attempt make up.  If not, go for it with some additional parlays)

If first wager of $300 promo chips and $200 live chips loses, then try to build up with the $400 remaining.

In & Out, within 20 hands or so.

Very interesting, I need to break down things like this.  I always flat bet until I can get a feel and gain some optimism with the shoe.  Unfortunately I bet around $25-50 each hand and this tends to keep me at the casino longer, which can be devastating as you know.  Thanks for the great posts.

I will run it tonight to start.

However, I did not make it last night, I was planning on going, but my ride is 1.5 hours min. each way.  I was going to head out at 9pm and be back by 1am.  But one of my guys called me and was having problem with one of our skid loaders he had out on a job.  I had to head in to my shop and get another one and run it out to him.  I normally don't do a hit and run on the weekends.

I do as you say normally to start with varying amounts of wagers, depending on where I am playing at.

Weekends at my local places tend to bring in most of the 'goof balls' and the camaraderie usually sinks to about zero.  So if they are all there and not many of the more serious, experienced regular players, I will just do the hit and run as I outlined.  Sunday through Thursdays usually has the best players.  I always win more when I win if the camaraderie is up there amongst the players.

I will post later what happened with this wagering for sure.

Either way, this fits in with my 'resetting and refreshing' that I find vital to winning and walking with the win as well.  Nothing worse in my book than sitting there and compiling win money and just stacking it, serves no positive or psych. purposes, only a false sense of what you can do and you will tend to give it back as you consider the stacked money, 'not really yours' and 'fuel to win more' in so many ways.  Etc.

This game is very superstitious and I have noticed what you described.  When the people are in sync with each other it seems to be going smoother.  I get distracted sometimes unfortunately when this occurs.  I did see when bad vibes happen to be at a tables when new players are there and don't understand the culture.

I have written about this stuff before within my Blog or perhaps the Baccarat Room here in BetSelection.

I call it 'Overpowering the Shoe', much more and greater use of it prior to the Midi table coming about the replaced the 'Big Tables'.  But it still does exist.  It is really not Voodoo, just taking advantage of the opportunity presenting itself and the reasoning, we all lose together or we smack the heck out of the casino, etc.

Personally when the whole table is in camaraderie and we all know each other or at least are very familiar and played together many times, I know I have taken a considerable greater amount of win money and done quite a bit greater than I would have done on my own.  Meaning grinding it out with 3/4 or more of the players at the table with their heads on the hands resembling that of a person that just heard the news of a loved one that past away, etc.

Many times at Vegas and the larger gaming jurisdictions I can recall where we all were playing together and started to win.  We would tease each other about being chicken to wager or stopping the game to make sure our wagers were the same height in chips wagered, etc. We would even challenge each other to wager table max and to parlay numerous times, things like that. I can only say it is the same as hitting a hole in one if I was by myself versus with 4 other close friends.

I have physically seen entire chip racks drained of every chip the floor manager calling for security to rush a fill to the table and the game held up when everyone was in camaraderie and took advantage of an opportunity, but I have never seen one player drain a chip rack, never in 35 years plus of playing.   (At least at decent sized casino with denominations larger than purple in the rack).

Done and won!

Floor let me take a pic!!

Will post later!!

First hand f7 only, lost.

Second hand my buddy throws up table max and 50.00 max on f7.  I put 45.00 on f7.  MyNew buddy after much fanfare and singing flops a 3 on the banker 4 sitting there,  everyone had f7 out!  He hit the table so hard it shook the 3 players cards sitting there.  The floor managerlet me take a picture of my payout on the table,  we won table max for the next two hands.

We called it all good and went to the steakhouse.  2 players came in we don't get along with.

I will post the pic in the morning, i can't do it without using my laptop which i don't have right now,

Played 4 hands.  Quickest hit and run ever I think!  Didn't plan it that way but it happened.

First hand wagered $30 only on F7 and it was a P=N9 over a B=N8 and my buddy had a $25 50:1 N/9-N/8 side wager on it and got $1,250.00 pay out.  Next hand I said let's go play, P8 and B7.  My buddy said, Banker and the side bets.  It was the first few hands of the shoe, I didn't feel anything.  He goes, I really do feel it, it is bouncing every time back and  forth, for the 6 hands out already and both sides won and lost all 6 times with 7 or better.

Not much to go on.  He pushes in table max on the banker of $2k and $50 on the F7 and $80 on P8 and another $25 on N/9-N/8.   throw up $45.00 on the F7 only.

Player has 4 and Banker has 4. Player returns a 7.  Banker sitting with a 4.   My buddy, 6'3 or so and over 260, stands up and tells the dealer wait.  Breaks out $300.00 cash and puts it up near the paddle whcih is inches from her tip box and says, "Give me a 3 and let us have the Fortune 7, okay?"  She says, "Yes!".  He then says; "That was my brother's New York Fire Department station who past-away in 9/11 and his truck was Ladder 143, he was on Squad 1 at the time but his career was station 143. Come on PLEASE!"  He then points to 1 for the player and the 4 showing next to the monkey at the Banker side.  He yells out, "We need a what?"  and the dealer says, "a three!" pretty darn loud.  The floor manager comes over and says, "Give these guys a 3 already let's go!".  My buddy puts his hand inches from the shoe in the air and says, "I only want a 3".

The song Taking Care of Business is playing by BTO and we all start to sing along with it.  Some how I knew this was going to work out, I do have those, 'no way we are never getting it feelings', or those "Maybe yes--Maybe no feelings' and those, 'really feel great feelings', I would have felt better needing a 6 as I get those more than anything for the 3rd card to win a F7, but 3's and 4's are better to get for me than a 2 or a 5 or an Ace, IMO and experience.

Then, after all the drawn out fanfare she slides him the card.  He looks and me and says, "For my brother bro, Ladder 143!" And he is chanting 3-3-3-3-3-3 and peeks at it and he yells out 2 or 3!  Then slams it down so frigging hard the table shook and moved the players cards, look at them.

I will tell you one thing, and one thing for 100% certain.   The players don't put their heads into their hands when we play, many of a dealer and floor person has said the same thing!  LOL!

I had $45 and got $1,800, you see $1,200 there and there is a pink and a black in front of the $1,200.  My buddy was to the left of me and already took his down along with everyone else and set up a few red chips for next F7 wager, which he does sporadically.  The rest of the players already pulled their winnings down.

I bought in for $580.00 cause I took $600 only and broke a $20 along the way prior to the casino.  Those pinkish chips are the promo chips I get twice a month or so, usually either $300 worth or $500.  They are still sitting there in front of me.

My buddy asked me to post a YouTube of Ladder 143 to remember his brother.  I don't know about the rest of the country but in New York the little kids seeing a hook-n-ladder as they are called, will always yell to their parents, 'look a hook-n-ladder, wow', as they roll down the streets to or from calls.  RIP bro!

  [attach=1]

Tribute to my buddy's brother:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sd_rTKuMrP8

Next hand I threw in my $300 promo chips and another $300 on top of my live chips.  My buddy says, "Let's go bro, it's time, max it baby".  He threw in all my green and a few of my blacks to make me have table max.  He says, "Don't worry, be happy".  I look at him and said, "It's all good, let's do this".  Player returns a 7 and we managed to return a Natural 8.  We repeat the same thing for the next hand.  Player 6 and we have a 7.

Two people coming up to the table we both very much despise and how they play.  Anyway, I had to be in the Twin Cities early in the morning and I have a few hour drive to get there.  We wanted to catch the steakhouse and go eat as well.  We both had a long day.  After the dealer tips and couple of lost side wagers, I take away $370 (lost side wagers and dealer tips) from the stack of chips I got from the F-7 and the two table max wagers, I cashed out $5,430.00.  $15 spent on the way and about $15 in gas total, leaves me just about $5,400 for the 15 minuets this ordeal took to play out the 4 hands.

Went to the steak house and ordered. It came, nice!  We both had 28 ounce porterhouse steaks with bacon wrapped asparagus and potatoes!!  Host sent a bottle of Grand Marnier '150 Anniversary' cognac.  Beautiful.  Spent an hour eating and talking.  Drove to the twin cities this morning.  Here are a few pics.  Remember the movie Fargo where the driver explains to the other thug the Minneapolis skyline and he doesn't much care?  Well here it is early this morning out my window.

Here is the Minneapolis downtown skyline from the interstate.

[attach=2]

The three tallest buildings are 1)  The IDS Center, tallest building in the state of Minnesota, which is the one with the top few floors in black glass and the 2 antennas on top.  BTW, for you old school guys, that is the building that the lady portraying Mary Tyler Moore walked in during the opening of the TV Show, Mary Tyler Moore.  Also Prince shot part of Purple Rain movie there and would play an occasional jam concert every once in a while at.  Used to be the HQ for Target Dept. Stores before they built their own Target Plaza skyscraper down the block.  Then there is Wells Fargo Bank's regional HQ (the tan/light brown one) and the third tallest is the Capella Tower which I believe is First Bank Systems HQ, which is the round cool looking one.

My little boy wanted to go to the water park today, so got here early, brought my lap top and laying back enjoying.  Of course the half Italian in him wanted pizza for breakfast!  I got the guy to fire up the pizza oven and make one real quick.  Here is our breakfast and the little king.  We got our favorite table off in the corner.  As soon as my favorite Italian restaurant opens, I will get lunch on the way here, Some chicken parmigiana, fried calamari and a box of cannolis.

[attach=3]

There is our baccarat adventure from last night.  Not much, but you know what?  We had fun for the 15 min's to play the four hands!  LOL!  I am sure (from what I already heard last night) after we left everyone else pretty much gave it all back, chased and continued to buy-in with additional funds.  Eventually putting their heads in their hands propped up on the rail of the bac table.  Sad, but true.  Seriously guys, play right!

"Hey Alrelax; As well as being master Baccarat player, you also have eclectic musical tastes. Last week at Fallsview Casino, (Niagara Falls Ontario) I just had the pleasure of seeing Tony Bennett perform live. He's now 91. Keep up the good work and thank you for your posts."

Went up to Minneapolis to take my little boy to the water park I promised him a week ago.  A winter storm was coming and I just won over $5,000.00 with a $600.00 buy in as I described above.  Yeah, I could have cancelled and he would understand because  of the weather that was heading in--but I could not.  Sure I wanted to stay at the casino and possibly win $50k or $25K like the other week or even $10k.  But, life is life and I don't do those things any longer.  I learned a while back, what staying at a casino can and will ultimately do.  I choose to grab my friend whom also won thousands of dollars and we celebrated in Minneapolis.

And once we puled out of that casino property we looked at each other.  We actually pulled on the side of the highway outside the casino property within 1 mile.  He looks at me and before he could say anything, I went into a speech, the same as I give to my other buddy that lost well over $50k, H-money.  I told my friend  the car, do not even think what you are thinking.  Take it and reset and refresh.  We could have easily kept winning or lost it.  We could have locked up our buy-in money as well as 2/3rds of our win and kept playing, but I don't think anything would have come about any good.  Maybe I am just saying that to self-satisfy myself and claim I did the right thing by leaving.  But I know one thing and I know this for 1,000% sure.  And that is, that we cut out of there with some reasonably good win money that we would nave had otherwise.  And those 2 players coming to the table we both despise and despise with passion.  I know things would have changed and we would not have had a continuing good time.

So we stopped at his house on the way to Minneapolis and he grabbed his overnight bag and a large package.  When we got to the Minneapolis he gives me the following super soft luscious blanket throw:

[attach=1]

[attach=2]

Talking about music Owenslv.  We went into a pizza shop that the owner is also from NYC in Minnesota and only a few people were there.  Me and my buddy took the place over.  We bought everyone whatever they were having, so what--a few hundred dollars.  We got the owner to crank up a few songs and we danced.  LOL!  To the on-looker we were probably fools, the biggest jerk fools making a complete A** of themselves.   You know what, it was fun!  Past fun!

While we  we're eating pizza and calzones, we rocked, sang and screamed to such songs as:

The original version of 'Jim Dandy' by Lavern Baker:
(listen past first few sentences because  she gets warmed up, IMO)
Don't forget or you may not know, she also had a huge hit with "Tweedle Dee".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRUzAZMYFpQ

Then he puts on the one we all know a bit better and has been with us since our high school days:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJXM-ssg2Hg

In your face rock-n-roll.  Nasty, loud, wild, crazy, but from our days of the 70;s and the 80's.  We screamed the words, we throw our arms up and we transposed ourselves into what music is about.  Not reaching into our waistbands to do a fake, grab and pump, wearing sneakers that cost a couple of hundred dollars and our pants falling off our rear-ends.

Then we got the song that Billy Idol did over from the original:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYYAv-QW38Q

My buddy got the song by Ram Jam on because  they are from New York, Long Island to be exact:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_2D8Eo15wE

Then we got a bit of Little Richard on:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kM1khne_sg

And also:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK_jm3Hz1Wk

And by the way, IMO--Jim Dandy from the Black Oak Arkansas is the real deal!  He has repeatedly performed in small clubs and venues for audiences of 100 to 300 people.  Money???  What money??  He does the music cause he loves it, simply.  I have always been a fan of B.O.A., since my high school days of the mid 1970's.

Here is another one with Jim Dandy, yes he got old, we all do.  Although I look better than most (LOL), we all do.  But point is--he does it because  he loves what he does and did.  Music evolves and it is interpreted and enjoyed by millions or billions in various ways.  I jammed to this song in the high school, in the 1980's, the 1990's, the 2000's, in 2010's and in 2018 the other night!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqBTOVRCmek

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H1ubSqeWGU

And after several other ones that drug out about an hour, the owner of the place pops up the following on all his TV panels and cranks up the volume.  We are drinking shots of Sambucca and we are totally oblivious to the world.

This comes on:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyVuYAHiZb8

What  great night!  Thanks BetSelection!  Thanks Casino!  Thanks Baccarat.

H-money going Thursday night,  finally he agrees to play bac the right way.  Which is to stop his witch hunt and don't wager because the board shows all 1s and 2s never made more than a 3, etc.  Kind of the way they talk about criteria and wagering on the professional millionaires elite circle board where you have to join for a monthly membership fee to get there super secret inside info to beat and bust the casino, LOL.

Anyway will post the results.

Tune the world out and do our own thing and simply enjoy is a lot different than getting classically drunk and obnoxious. We definitely had fun and that's what our lives are about right now no matter what we do that's what we attempt to do.  Just don't want to be like the people that are emotionally distressed and can't figure out what they actually want or how would to get it or they're reaching in the wrong departments in their life.

I posted before about a guy at the same Casino we go to that won around $60,000 in a few shoes and he gave it all back and he had to keep trying to win back with at least 10 to 15 thousand of his own money.  I don't really know the guy personally I play with him a few times and he will be probably looking to commit suicide in my own opinion after a while with the way he plays and what he's doing in the attempt to win.  There's a way to play this game and there's definitely a way not to play it and the majority of the players play it the way you are not supposed to play it. I believe in my own opinion it's all changed since right around the very late part of the 1990s.

I look forward to reading your post each day and learning from your wisdom.  However as a bac player, I am more like you friend H money.  How is one to play based on not seeing trends in the shoe?  It's a game of chance, I understand that but do you completely disregard the board and treat each bet as a new session.  What you're saying is true by there is no system that will consistently work and especially paying for one.  My betting patterns are a double edge sword, I win big when there is a streak or a chop but also is my downfall when the shoe is beating me up.

You are correct, about the double edged sword!!  I agree.  However, 'frame-of-mind' and identifying the shoe.  I can't properly answer your question with any kind of comprehensive 'correctness' in one post.

Did you read any of the series of 10 posts I have in my highlighted section of the Blog?

Here is one that fits pretty well what you are saying.  Winning at bac really has nothing to do with criteria scheduling and mathematical science as so many think, IMO.
