Title: 122 method ...
Post by: Sputnik on August 31, 2013, 06:34:56 PM

I got angry that there is a method with the name 122 ...
It implement that you accept a small lose on your last bet and a total of -5 units ...

Is just that i could not find any bet working where +1 overcome -5 on regular basis ...
And it also is one of the slowest EC method i know ...

This is the best i can come up with using the 122 method ....

72 Sessions 64 Won 24 Loss

So why did i test this, well John Patrick wrote that you increase your staking plan after some success ...
Up as you go mentality with 122 method ...

50 Session 122
75 Session 244
100 Session 366
200 Session 5 10 10
400 Session 10 20 20
1000 Session 25 50 50

No way i say to my self, but now i am ahead with 40 session and only 10 left to reach the 50 benchmark using the 122 method.
I could never do it betting after two reds or two blacks, i use other more complex algorithm, but it should not matter and be the same thing.
We all know the saying that all selection is the same.

If any one is interested in this i tell you how and we can test TRNGs together, i pick one month and you another, that way we can see what kind of benchmark we could reach ...

I reach +50 sessions and moving from 122 to 244 and now aim to win 75 sessions ...
If i reach one step more i will start playing this method with real money.

A real boring and slow even money method, but a true grinding and working method.
I will start with 6 Euro minimum table.

Title: Re: 122 method ...
Post by: Sputnik on September 01, 2013, 01:09:05 PM

Ok i missunderstand John Patrick, he wrote bankroll size comparing to unit size.

So if not increase i should aim to win two session out of three.
But this don't add up.

Each attack aim to win +1 unit, so if i win two attacks or session out of three i am +2 units, but if i lose one session or one attack i am down -5 units.
Lets take a look at the winning and losing sequence ...

WW +2
LWW -3
WLW -3
LWLL -14
LWLW -8
LL -10

This don't add up as John Patrick say i should aim for a small % as win goal, so using 122 method i assume +1 unit.
But in the same time i should win more as two winning sessions should overcome one losing session.

Assume i would aim for +3 units as win goal, to high win goal, but just to illustrate one example.

WW +6
LWW +1
WLW +1
LWLL -13
LWLW -4
LL -10

Still it does not add up.
I need to wise up and understand this session managment with win goal and loss limit.

I can not wrap my mind around it.
Maybe it does not working applying the methodology with 122 method.

I mean i have at some point to capitalize when playing.
Should i just aim to play 122 method non-stop with out session management and win goal and loss limit.

+81 units
-55 units
= +26 units

This is the result of 6 days with 8 hours play.
The thing is that this is non-stop result.

One day you can be ahead +7 units before a loss show and i feel i should have quit long time before that winning over 100% ...
Then you more you play it tend to even out ,,, even if i can stay ahead after 50 session played.

So there has to be some kind of methodology with session management and win goal and loss limit using the 122 method.
Not just bankroll size comparing to unit size.

This 1-2-2 is a different animal altogether .  ( As explained in a PM when to play it).

But this cat loves it.Right down his alley .Good occasional play.

Thanks for the PM ...

I think the short run is the same as the long run, so i assume this method will end up with common progression like all other methods.

Im very interested in this 122,, I believe it is being bandied about on the NOR forum? I have a bet that should fit it---Adulay actually commented on the theory in the non-read Albahala forum.

The bet selection and rules.

You see one outcome, red or black and bet against it up to three times in a row.
If you lose three times in a row, then you have a series of four.
Then you wait for the next new outcome to show and bet against that one for three times.
That is the march.

We only bet once for each sequential event.
This means you have to wait for a string of events to fail three times in a row, before you can make your first attack.
You only start one attack after three loses.
That means if you win once in the beginning using the 122 staking plan, then stop and wait for a new sequence or three loses.

That is the bet selection or the march.
We continue to bet up to three attacks or a total loss of 6 bets and start over with a new day.
That has to be pretty rare, but i am sure it will happen.
That is a total of -10 units.

So if you win once and lose once then you are -4

This is how it looks like.

Thanks for posting the bet selection and rules; Is it possible to put some simple example of rb or actual
numbers as to when to bet so that is clear for everyone......
For ex, after 3 losses, we stop wait for the next opportunity and bet 3 times again etc.......??

There are actually 2 versions  of   the 1-2-2 system one method for  Roulette and another one for Baccarat.

'Roulette: The series either ends with   one, two or 3 spins.

Baccarat: the series is alive whether you win or lose. ( Observe LL and WG.

This method is a grind but it works ,while waiting for the system to lose 3 in a row I reversed it and when 3 wins in a row came I would bet the same instead of the opposite.and when the 3 Ls would appear I would do the opposite I think you would get more betting opportunity in .and if there would be an idea for when you get 3 chops ,this would be good but I don't have one for this. What do you think Sputnik ?

Let mne  reemphasize that  the  1-2-2 systems. one for roulette and the other one  for baccarat are not interchangeable.

Sharp   cats  should  recognize this  fact:  one size  does NOT fit all .

The roulette 1-2-2 is  a hit and run and the baccarat    1-2-2 an up and pull method.

For  recreational purposes only. Play at your own risk.

I change the method, but keep the selection after reading John Patricks baccarat book.

I play regression up and pull.

Sputnik,

Did you commence with the up and pull methid exactly  at the point suggested by  John Patrick namely L-L-W>>> commence Up and Pull.

It`s a subtle way to get into the up and pull. \

NOT for  roulette EC. . This method is designed for Baccarat only.

For recreational purposes only. Play at your own risk.

PART 1
-------------
Hello i read JPs baccarat book and find a method.

The staking is 122
If you win one of the two first bets you continue with regression up & pull

1
0.5
1
1
1.5
2.0
2.5

If the last bet of the 122 wins you accept a small loss
I think that is how he describe it at page 165

-----------
PART 2
-----------

But i don't understand the money management.

200 Session money
100 Loss limit
40 Win target

That is 20% win target of 200 session money.
But i only allow to play with 100 that is my loss limit.
So if my win goal is 40 then that is 40% of 100.

---------
PART 3
---------

The good news is that i find a working bet selection for this method.

Go for  the  10%  win goal. Once you have reached this  point I  would continue betting 1 unit until the FIRST  loss.

Keeping in mind that the table  minimum  for  Baccarat  here  in  the States  is  $ 25 . There fore  a Buy -in of $ 750  should be required.

Thanks ND ...

Well i can still not rap my mind around the money management.
I understand that i have a loss limit for two reasons.

The first one is to prevent me from losing it all.
And the other will make me not go home with a empty wallet.

But there is something wrong with the %

200 Session Money
100 Loss-Limit
40 Win-Target

In reality i will only have 100 to play with, my action money for the session.
But my % is based upon my Session Money 200 or 40%.
That has to be wrong.

So should i build my Win-Target based upon my Loss-Limit.

400 Session Money
200 Loss-Limit
40 Win-Target

Then my 20% Win-Target is based upon my Loss-Limt 200.

Sputnik ,
The  full buy-in  is actually    1, 200.--- which is divided into 3 individual  sub  sessions of 400.

Therefore  if you reach the loss limit   at the first sub session you leave the table  and return later. Winning 2 out of 3 sub sessions.

We are  at the casino playing to win and not pplaying to play just for playings sake.

PROTECTING the bankroll is of paramount importance

No matter if you are down  by 100  , enter the second sub session playing it the normal way. Just ignore the previous loss.

All bet selection is the same with the same probability with a 50/50 situation.
So i come up with a bet selection that use a random element of luck and one mechanical part.

Now if you get high strike ratio, then it is based upon luck.

1) You clustering the four past result into a group of four (pattern) and it can come in any given combination.
2) If you fifth results is same as your first result of your previos four, then you play oppisite.
3) If you fifth results is oppisite as your first result of your previos four, then you play same.

This give you the odds 7 against 1 attacking with tre attempts.

4) If you catch a winning bet among your three attempts you continue betting the same colour (let it ride)
5) If you catch a strike and the sequense (pattern) become longer then four you restart with a new frech sequense (pattern).
6) If you catch one losing strike of three bets in a row you continue.
7) If you catch two losing strikes of three bets in a row you stop playing.

This happens when you get two failurs.
You get a dice with four sides to repeat it self four times in a row.
Then method end up being 1/3 principal.

The good news is that you can walk up to any table and pick the last four or five results and start playing, there is no need to wait.

Per i made this method even more effective after a tweak that make loses more rare.
I have to think how to explain it, then i will post it.

You can use clustering patterns of three and bet opposite.
Then if you get three loses in a row you will get a sequense of six in a row.
If you lose again you will get a nine loses in a row.

You can compare that with the original.
I get the feeling that this last one produce less losing strikes as nine in a row is pretty rare.
You have the odds 7 against 1 and try to not losing twice.

Test this with Regression Up & Pull with todays random results from random org.
I did not catch so many strikes, but still winning.
