One guy wrote about this method and i like it so much ,,, because it use zero ,,, big green pocket ,,, beautiful ,,,
Also masters'roulette at http://www.mastersroulette.com/ mention this method, but is not using zero, same method with two different strategies.
Both have there own advantages and disadvantages.

I will describe both  ;)

What does it mean to estimate the ball ?
Well it does not matter if the dealer spin the ball hard or sloppy or if it make 8 to 25 laps.

You catch a specific moment when ball slow down (knee point) and that moment is the same for each spin.
That means when you estimate this moment, then the balls distance and time-frame is constant, like from A to B.

Estimate the ball using zero and deceleration.

First you would only use one specific rotor speed to get constant results when you estimate the ball.
If you use different rotor speeds with the deceleration method, then the knee point will appear at different moments during the spin.
Continue to read and it will become clear.

You will observe and see the ball passing zero very fast in the beginning of the spin.
Once the ball has been over zero and for the next turnaround will be over zero again, then rotor have moved.
That distance or gap is very small in the beginning of the spin as the ball is moving very fast.

When ball slow down the distance or gap will become larger for each time the ball pass zero.
This is how you observe the deceleration of the ball.

We can describe it like this.
First the ball is fast and you will see small gaps for each turnaround the ball makes.
Then the ball will slow down and have median speed, then you will see median gaps for each turnaround the ball pass zero.
And now you will notice a distinct gap that is larger then small and median, that is the knee point, the deceleration you looking for.

So if the ball was hitting the same deflector you would have the same distance from A (that moment) to B (when ball hit deflector).
Same time-frame from A to B.

Here you would have a main focus deflector depending on degree of tilt ...

This method depend on using same rotor speed and you might getting 30 trails using a good playing model.
Good as you would track and chart degree of tilt and good scatter patterns with specific rotor speed.
You will be starring into the wheel, very obvious.
Very clear and simple method.

Second deceleration method.

With this method you use the same principal as above, but you use numbers by them self.
You pick a main focus deflector (based upon degree of tilt) and observe the gap between numbers getting larger (deceleration)
When you find your distinct gap, then you have the knee point.

This method also depends on rotor and ball turnarounds.
That is two similar ways to estimate the ball and getting the same distance from A to B.

That's for free and better understanding.
Just simple physics.

But is not a simple and casinos know advantage play.
The easy part is to estimate the ball and have the same distance or time-frame from A to B.

What you are up against is degree of tilt and understand how to take advantage of multiple drop points.
Scatter overlaps that just manifest during specific rotor speeds (the sweet speed) with predictable scatter patterns.

Google and you find nothing about it.
There is reason for that, either you don't know and you been lazy not doing your home work or you know, but you don't charing your hard work on a silver plate.

Don't care so much what the video is about.
The important thing is that you have a video wheel to practice with.

With this video you can see that there is small gaps in the beginning of spin.
At the middle of spin you get median gaps, then shows a distinct gap pattern where he place his bets.
Then at the end of the spin you see gaps that are half the wheel and more.

You can backtrack this video and learn how to estimate the ball using zero based upon this.

I not know maybe that is not mine matter who writes others in their blogs, but what you write here is very not right.
First moment is that knee point happend not always in the same pace - sometimes it can be with center in 12 DD if look to stator as to clocks, there time it can happend at 6 DD - theese two spins will be very diferent after that knee point.

Here is again hudge diference between spins with 8 rotattions and with 25 rotattions. Even 15 and 17 can be diferences.

Sorry that entered to not mine garden, but this about what i say is especially bigest mistakes for novice Vb players. ....

 I very much doubt if the above can be used these days, there were some very good vb players at Crown Melbourne,
yes were ,you rarely see any good wins ,with the ping pong type balls ,the thing can bounce from one side to the other and of course the dreaded Cammegh mercury 360 rrs roulette wheels ( you can see Cammegh wheels in play at the Cammegh web site.

If You talk about RRS, and about jumping ball, so yes that create  adittional problems. But still for good VB player - result of ball fall, never are totally random, what can turn casino advantage to small players advantage.

Other moment, that not all wheels are the same. And possibility to beat two random choosed wheels can be very different. Player can choose the wheel on which he will play - that is his main advantage.

Thanks everyone for all that great information.

Now that I've memorized the American roulette wheel and now I'm practicing adding different numbers (from my target number), instantly, so I know where to place bets very quickly, without missing out before "no more bets" is called.  (That's a lot of combinations!)  I plan to bet with nothing in my hands or pockets except when I'm doing my initial research.  Also, I'm learning different speeds, 1.3 ms/revolution, 1.5, 1.7, 1.9, etc.  Kind of like perfect pitch (in music), for your eyes!  My problem is that there are no table roulette wheels on which to bet or practice in New York State...they're all (stupid/useless) electronic roulette games!  Who cares about "random number generators"?  It's very frustrating.  Also, the link you provided (you tube to practice your counting), doesn't work.  Does anyone have a practice wheel with EXACT ball speeds so one can practice learning different speeds?  Videos of games are useless because you can't see anything.   Once I have this down, I'll travel--obviously, but it's frustrating that NY State doesn't allow table games.  Wow!  Oh well, if it's worth it, you'll find a way, right?  Thanks for your help WITH proper video for my practicing/putting my brain to work.

IF anyone wants to learn my memory system (for Roulette wheel), I'll provide it for free, but it is still a lot of work, even with all the patterns, just the same.  (I do NOT know the European Model, only sticking with American model for now.)  Thanks!  Tom, New York
