The worst thing is your mind wanders to out guess and second guess the shoe. If you fail to stay focused while being completely neutral with no frustration or aggravation, you have set yourself up for failure from the beginning.
I don't care who you are or what your background is. In baccarat, at a B&M casino, the largest and the easiest wins are repeatedly received by players engaging in camaraderie. And likewise the some great losses, both repetitively and consistently are again with camaraderie. The leader of the table with his false or misleading decision(s) whereupon everyone else followed. In brief that is the reality of what happens each and every day at the baccarat tables. In baccarat from all the various jurisdictions and types of properties and games I have ever engaged in, the heaviest and the longest camaraderie wins, have been produced from the strong or weak repetitiveness section of a shoe. The haphazard self-correcting or continuing ratio of a shoe is extremely hard and seldom ever capitalized on.
Strong or weak repetitiveness examples:
10 Bankers, 10 Players, 6 Bankers, 6 Players, runs/streaks of whatever, several of them;
Chop-Chop, alternating banker to player to banker to player, etc.;
Doubles or pairs, banker banker, player player, etc.;
V's--Banker followed by 2 Players followed by 3 bankers, followed by 3 players, followed by 2 bankers followed by a Player, etc.'
And there are plenty of other ones as well.
The wide world of perception will enter as well. A player has to perceive and relate his perceptions to his betting beliefs, practices and protocols.
Perhaps a player's perception is made up of the following examples:

Run all your computer tests and compile all kinds of statistical data. Will not mean jack poo-poo at the baccarat table, simply because the shoe you are about to play was exempt from your statistics. And if by some slight trivial chance, there was a shoe exactly like it in your block of shoes you ran for the statistics you are about to wager by----you messed up. Why? Because you merged that one shoe with countless other ones and therefore you will be applying the altered results not 100% representative of the shoe you are about to play that was also played within your own test batch. Unless your test batch was the one shoe only and now at the casino you are sitting down to an exact repeat of that one shoe, hand for hand. Okay, yeah--okay.
There are 3 different shoe ratios that will generally always be realized throughout each shoe. There are two different types of baccarat players that subscribe to at least two different and distinct agendas. When you realize this and define who you are, you will have an easy time to correct yourself and find the avenue to longer, stronger and better successful times playing baccarat.
