Do you think online casinos cheat?

I must admit I have always had my suspicions about online casinos...  my suspicions grow in certain situations that occur too often.  For example in street betting.  I noticed when I first dabbled in online roulette (at one particular casino) that more line numbers appeared than I had noticed at B&M casinos.

Extraordinary sequences of 19-20-21 kept appearing for thousands of spins. Eventually I got on board and if I waited for one of the numbers to appear it was almost a forgone conclusion that one of the three would appear again withing 5 spins. I did very nicely for many hours of play.  Eventually however it stopped.  One of the three would appear at the start of every game and then up to 200 spins would occur before another one of the street repeated.

Just a coincidence?? Yep, that's what I put it down to. However after more than 3 years of playing I have seen the same thing happen (with different street bets) and certain areas of the wheel hit, on too many occasions.  The secret I believe is to see when they are cheating and how they are cheating and get on board.

They are just cheating individual players? or are generating the numbers to all players? I bet for the second option.  Therefore if you see they are delivering amazing line sequences or hitting particular sections of the wheel, you can almost guarantee this will happen for an extended period. That's when you can clean up!!

I guess I study this similarly to the dealer signature method at B&M casinos. The difference being it is much more obvious at online casinos, which when you work out the cheating strategy you can actually make big bucks online!

I Interested to hear of other regular online players experiences.

They don't need to cheat to win, so get that out of your head.
But if you win to much, then they will take action.

Think again ... poker is great where the sites take commission ... so you can not get a ban or being limited ... they have nothing to gain ...
So if you learn poker you can play cash games with out worry.

Sport-betting has sites as Betfair among others, they take commission, so you can not get a ban or being limited, they have nothing to gain ...
Read, practice and play.

You have to think twice about making money from home with your computer, you have to pick games that offer you no limits.
Like poker and sport-betting.

I have read so many times about gamblers who won money on regular basis and end up with a ban.
Then they cry like a baby.

You can not make a living playing online casinos.
But you can make a living playing poker cash games and sport-betting.

RNG or live table roulette?

Easy way to find out.  Just log on with another computer and see if they both get the same results, assuming it's a live wheel.

Let's look at the other side of the coin:  Do you think online casinos are always honest?

Given that it's basically an unregulated industry with millions changing hands each week, and given the human propensity for greed then who can answer 'yes' with confidence?

And if you did, then when was the last time you read any online casino T & Cs?

The ones I've read are couched in all sorts of semi-legal yet vague terms that give the casinos all sorts of outs and reasons for not playing fair with you.

Deliberately vague terms are such that they can be easily interpreted in the casino's favour and not in yours, when push comes to shove.

And they are deliberately long, verbose and convoluted to discourage anyone from ever reading them.

We've seen all sorts of horror stories from players whose winnings have been deliberately manipulated, or even denied them through conveniently dodgy connections and the like.

We've seen where accounts have been closed for no good reason (is winning really a good reason?)

We've read about luckless players either being denied withdrawals, being made to jump through multiple identity hoops to even be considered for a withdrawal, or being made to wait an unreasonable time for their money to arrive -- if it arrives at all.

Now do you think online casinos are always honest?

And on the balance of probability given all the above, it's highly likely that many of them do indeed cheat.

It's too easy to do so, and get away with it, especially given the links with criminal gangs in the online gaming industry.

My opinion is that this is possible.

If you have consistent winning methodology, then it isn't so hard to fool them so it seems you are just a regular player.

You need to play in multiple casinos and take care that you lose enough on purpose and with certain pattern.

I mean for few casinos to end in minus one month/week and then you can earn there  plus next month/week. But then of course create loss where you were in plus last month/week and so on switching them like that.. To play slots and other games when you are intending to lose and so on.

You must be very well organized and extremely elaborated about this. Just as an accountant. Discipline again.

I would also say that it isn't the same if you are coming from Norway for example (which BTW has worries how to reduce surplus) or you are coming from some eastern Europe countries where month salary is about 100-200 €... and in Norway that is daily salary...

So with 500€ month plus from gambling in Serbia you could live more then decent and how much is that for Norway where average month salary is about 3000€? You should be anyhow ripping casinos for that amount of money, which would very probably lasted much shorter...

Common sense has become so rare it should be classified as a superpower.

HI.
Yes, I've tested using that method and when on two separate computers, the displays and results have been identical.  This is a live game and not the computer generated game.

Merry Christmas to you all,

I just want to give you my experience. I am currently playing a three method play at betvoyager.
After testing it in excel , and then on betvovagers funmode , I decided to play with real money.
I payed 50 Euros and started to play with 5cents. I actually lasted 3 Days and all the money was gone....
Well , I couldn't believe it so I started in funmode with 5000 playing with 5 units I came to my stages where I am betting 50 units.
So I payed another 50 Euro realmoney and started it again...... well....all gone...

I continued my funaccount which was at about 50.000 and to date I am up betting 200 units and I am up to 140.801 Units !!!

So my feeling is that in real money RNG runs different...... Just my feeling.

Happy Holiday and happy new Year

Rayhd,
There are many experts here like "Bayes" who swear by the fairness of the randomness of bv due to SHA-256 algorithm. You may have a bitter experience of losing in real money but that may be random as well.

Before saying that any casino is cheating with you and making you lose, you need to see first:
Whether your system or even flat betting can guarantee winning? I mean have you simulated your method enough to understand how many "sessions from hell" are possible against you? If they are in thousands(usually there are) there is no point in doubting the fairness of randomness for successive losing sessions.

Those who come up here and boldly say, never play RNG, it is not roulette at all or all are meant to make you lose should read the primary books on Randomness and RNG. Wheel and ball of roulette also constitute an RNG and "random" simply means "unpredictability".

Online casinos cheats. It has happened before. Look and read up on the Absolute Poker/Ultimate Bet scandal. Anything digital I say beware. Even if you are at an actual casino. If there are no actual physical decks of cards involved, stay away.

If you can conclude this so easily, stop playing online or play only live dealers. I have seen people winning even million chips on RNG (Ralph being an example from this forum alone) of bv.
Remember, if you do not have a winner method, you can always get a streak of losses. Honestly evaluate your method and you will found hundreds(if not thousands) of probabilities you can lose with. Did you jump when you won 10 sessions in a row?

I believe betvoyager is a trustable casino at least from my play.

View via default picture viewer and scroll up with your mouse wheel to zoom in as I took a screenshot of the whole screen.

In my experience, the max sleepers at bv will always be much more than any other casino platforms. If you are able to beat bv, you will be able to beat any roulette tables. So in your case you have to change your method of play.
