I asked this question on the wizard forum and got the gavel for it. So, I will ask again, on here. The ap-wiseguy and mathite all say ya can't win well and regular without the verify edge. They say that in the "long run" the house edge will mean certain doom for the "system" player. I've been winning well and regular at the baccarats for several year now, and in a year's worth of fulltime play I buck up against about 44 thousands real money decision. So, how many hand or shoe of the baccarats constitute the "long run" that will clip me and cause me to lose all of my thousands of unit of accumulated profit and my initial 1000 units lifetime bankroll, hey hey?

Baccarat Forum / It Takes One to Know One
July 27, 2016, 12:12:20 PM
The baccarats action at my local is pretty much the same, day in, day out. Most cats buy-in for 2-3-4ks then come over the top betting blacks or purple chip. Needless to say, these cats usually wear out the carpet going forth and back to the atms machine. The other night was no exception and some guy was whining cuz he dropped 60ks and the pit boss was too slow in giving him a marker for another 5000$. But then, something out of the ordinary happened. An older guy, an oriental cat of a Japanese persuasion sat down and bought in for 2800$. That's a typical buy in amount but what he did next was very unusual; when the cat started out betting GREEN chip! I was curious so I eyeballed his style for a bit and saw he was running some kind of anti-streak style, also indicative of a shrewd cat. After a bit, he looked over at me and we both nodded in recognition that we were the only two shrewd cats in a joint full of coconuts. So, it's true, that at the baccarats it takes a serious cat to know a serious cat, hey hey.

Baccarat Forum / Jumping the Shark
July 03, 2016, 09:23:56 PM
Well old Ellis has finally jumped the shark. There ain't enough Guinness in the world for this, hey hey.

You know, I don't believe in lifetime bankrolls.

Any instructor who demands that you must have a lifetime bankroll is either a scammer (extremely common on the internet) or hopelessly incompetent.

He thinks he knows how to play but to me, he's just another beginner.

Have you got 12 units?

Good because I can teach you how to win with SIX.

You have to know how to case the joint – how to find the easiest table to beat in the whole casino and then know how to beat it.

THAT is how we play – no heroics – good old common sense.

If the crowd is going one way – you'll find us going the other way.

Somehow the crowd always ends up at the toughest table in the casino.

What the hell is wrong with those guys?

We are there for ONE reason – to win.

Ignore the crowd! They lose every time.

I'll teach you the tricks of the trade, for instance:

How to legally play $5 units on a $10 table.

Or better yet, how to legally play $50 units on a $100 table.

Sure, I'll teach you how to squeeze 5 or 10 units out of a good table.

But I'll also teach you how to Exploit a really good table for 40 – 50 units a shoe.

And Finally I'll teach you Extreme Exploit where you can pull hundreds of units out of the right table with the right conditions.

The record for my students was Cherry – 425 units in ONE shoe.

Baccarat Forum / Changes
April 23, 2016, 04:15:18 AM
I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll never be able to capture better than 50% winner like the gr88888888888888one and the jimske, so I don't tinker with my bets selection. I do sometimes look at different mm/progression scheme and will now be switching from my 11 steps parlay to a 13 steps parlay. I'm doing so cuz I eyeballed my last 100 shoe and saw that I would have cut my progressions busts outs by 50 percents by by using the 13 step instead of the 11 step style I have been using. Everything is a trade off and there is less average profit to be had with the 13 step parlay but a bust is 100 unit, and with far fewer progression busts I can significantly increase my base units bet. So, I figure that my real cake average profit should increase by about 10-15 percents; and that should be plenty good enough to feed the bulldog, hey hey!

That Seth cat hasn't posted much lately, but the other day he did pony up a great blog entry. He share my philosophy thinking that to win regular at baccarats/dice you gotta use a deep negative progression with a large bankroll and you gotta have the balls to keep coming over the top making big bets to back up yer play. So cats might want to take a look, hey hey.

Baccarat Forum / Strange..........
December 20, 2015, 11:43:15 PM
So, the baccarats involves a level of "skill", who knew, hey hey.

Description

No, it's not played with tweezers. In Mini Baccarat, the full-sized fun sees the cards dealt quickly and openly, which makes for a smoother-playing variation of the favourite casino game of high rollers. This "Punto banco"-style version of baccarat follows predetermined rules on whether or not the player and the banker are dealt a third card. Mini Baccarat is played with six decks, shuffled before each round. This game throws the fun right Baccaratcha!

How to play

Read Official Game Rules

Return to player

On average, this game pays back a percentage of all money wagered on it:
•Player Wins:  98.76%
•Banker Wins:  98.94%
•Tie:  85.56%

Note: As this type of game has an element of SKILL, its payback percentage is calculated based on computer simulations using an OPTIMAL playing strategy.

The Frank Barstow was one shrewd cat. So, I'm gonna share a couple of quote passage from his Beat the Casino book, enjoy, hey hey.

"The superiority of the parlay progression is obvious, is it not? Ergo a properly constructed bet series using parlays or the double-win approach to be described shortly is the way to go if you plan to offset losses by increasing your bets on any even chance."pg66

"I am told that a recently published book recounts the story of a man who is supposed to have earned a good living for 30 years doing nothing but grinding out small hourly winnings using the following parlay series:
1-1-1-2-2-4-4-8-8"pg60

Baccarat Forum / The Long Run?
May 28, 2015, 03:13:48 AM
The mathite all tell  us that without an "edge" we will all fall because of the house edge in the "long run" But, they never provide an answer as to how many shoe, or decision at the baccarats constitute a long run. Heck, I got the gavel on the wizard forum for having the temerity to pose that question. Now, that seth cat on his blog says coupla method survive for what would be 30-40 year of fulltime play. So, I ask, what constitute the long run, and if we ain't gonna buck up against it then why worry about it, hey hey.

For those who ain't familiar I would advise everyone to take a looksee at that Seth cat's target betting blog. He shoots straight and rightly states that progression/mm style, along with a large bankroll and the balls to push out some big bets to back up yer play are of much more importance than the bet selection, hey hey.
