For anyone that did not know, this was a joke, with an analogy or two.  Okay, its almost Asian New Year, I shouldn't even be on here, but a couple of PM's asked me to reconsider and one of the Mods would like to repost everything.  I see no reason, still think all of you are the best and I have no problem with anything said except those that attacked me and accused me of maybe knowing how to deal but nothing else and also being out of tune/place with the casino in general.  Okay that's enough venting for really nothing.  I appreciate your encouragement Esoito but there is no loss whatsoever that I left.

It was a joke.  I posted a joke.

But for giggles Archie Karas did turn$50.00 into $40Million!  And lost a good share of that playing Baccarat!   He was very well known in the LA card club casinos.

I deleted almost all of my posts for the simple reason that they are not warranted or appreciated.  I took a long time and lots of effort to answer questions and afford others knowledge and factual happenings from casinos.  Kind of like being in a classroom to learn something technical but there are a few relentless ones preaching and attempting to derail others with childish statements having no validity or purposes other than an attempt to grab attention and illicit from others, 'WOW, OMG really factor'.

The responses and the constant 'chopping down' by Wewinn2222 was what did it.  The strength and the conviction of the mostly garbage he was preaching and relentslly posting which is 100% not true, unproven and does not exisits in the legitimate casino world.  Perhaps at some mom and pop motels or other venues and industries, but sorry, casino in the USA do not moniter and record inside of bathrooms, hotel rooms, etc.  I don't want to cat fight, dog fight, prove things that are not true or engage in 'he said-she said'.

I have two decades plus dealing baccarat and cards games as well, in excess of that playing in many casinos.  I have family members working in Cali, Vegas and in the Northeast as well as Asia in the casino industry.

I in no way claim to know everything or take the stance that my theories or knowledge is the way everything should be played.  But in no way do I cite or post what someone said that I overheard or is made up or taken out of context.  Seems 'some' want to litter the board with 'this or that' without one bit of evidence or personal knowledge, or history of that posted info being true or correct or that it is factual operational standards, etc.

Oh yeah, come on seriously, I am laying in my casino hotel bed and security bust in to check to see if I am alive.  The only way that would happen, if the person made a 911 call to threaten suicide or called someone else and they reported same back to the casino hotel, etc.

I liked the board and the people and I seriously thought it was a great avenue to learn and explore and share, but with the mentality of WeWinn2222 attacking me in my threads or other posts I made, I see no reason to share and use my time and efforts, only to be squared off on with some fallacies.  So I deleted everything I wrote in all my threads and the other places I posted in choosing not to be a part of a board that is part factual and part 100% garbage.

Three life long best friends go to Vegas together from Massachusetts.  One is a college teacher for the deaf, another is a clothing store owner and is deaf himself, the third is a software developer who always aspired to be a professional gambler.  What is interesting about the third one is he has a huge passion for security systems and counter intelligence.

Well they are in Vegas and all of them lost their behind in gambling for several days.  It is their last night, so the college teach and the clothing store owner want to go to a strip bar and get drunk.  Those two approach the third and he elects to stay behind in the casino hotel they are staying at.  So later that evening the two go on to the strip bar and Mr. Gambler stays put.  Later in the evening he goes downstairs to the casino and withdraws his last $400.00 on his credit card he is able to get.

Well he wins $250,000.00.  He is up in the room and counting his good fortune.  He notices the smoke detector and gets a weird feeling at the red blinking light.  So he takes it apart to check for a camera.  He always heard the casino had cameras in the rooms.  He didn't find any.  So he packs up all his money and wraps it up tight.  He stashes it in his luggage and crawls into bed.  He has no plans to tell his buddies as he has no plans to share his good fortune and they always talked about how if any of them won a jackpot or a sizable amount, they would split it up amongst themselves.

The next morning they all wake up.  Their flight leaves at noon time and just before their flight, Mr. Gambler tells his two best friends, go on and go back I will catch up with you tomorrow I am throwing up and too ill to fly today.  So he books a flight that gets in right after midnight and would put him home at about 2:30 am.  He arrives home and check both houses of his best friends and the deaf one who owns the clothing store lives next door and the teacher lives across the street.

He goes to his garage and gets a shovel and proceeds to dig a hole in his back yard and bury the cash.  The following day the gambler wakes up and is walking through his yard.  He sees an empty hole right where he buried his treasure.  Then he looks around and sees footprints in the snow leading to his deaf friend right next door!

He runs inside his house and grabs his pistol and runs across the street to his other friends house, the college teacher of the deaf.  He bangs and bangs on the door until his friends opens the door.  He tells him, come on and drags him by the arm across the street to the deaf guys house.  Tell this S.O.B. that if he doesn't give me my $250k back I will kill him right now and cocks the trigger back.  The teacher communicated with the deaf guy by sign language which the gambler could not read.  The deaf friend told the teacher, "OMG chill out, I was not going to keep it, I only did it to teach Mr. Greedy a lesson.  It is buried under the large tree in the back corner of my property".

The teacher turns to Mr. Gambler and tells him, "He is not going to say anything, and he said he would rather die first then tell you anything"!  The teacher walks out of the house and hears a gun shot.

I just thought I would share some super high tech stuff I was so lucky in learning about.  As I was taking a dump in a public restroom section of a casino the other day, I overheard two high ranking casino executives talking, one says, hey Moe, did you see all the new stuff we got in today.  Moe say, No I didn't Larry what was it.  Larry says, the new cameras can see through the clothes of the players, really cool.

On another note, I thought I would share my experiences I have been having:

Went into a bathroom at a casino yesterday.  When I left I was approached a few minutes later by a guy wearing a security uniform.  He says, Sorry to bother you sir, but on the side I sell a line of penis enlarge enlargement pills, would you be in the market for any?  I looked at him and said, I was hung like the proverbial horse your sexually frustrated wife dreams about.  He laughs and says, not from what I seen. Then I figured it all out, them SOB's have cameras in the darn bathrooms!

I was in the hotel room in a different casino over the weekend.  I was up in the room and misplaced the TV remote control.  I am looking and looking around for it, cussing up a storm.  The phone rings and says someone is on the way up and be there in a minute.  I hung up thinking they had the wrong room.  In a flash there is a knock on the door.  Security with a new remote control.  OMG!  These people are great.

I was at another casino and in the pizza place getting a bite to eat.  Our pizza comes and the waitress then vanishes.  I am looking all over for the parmesan cheese shaker, the garlic powder and the red pepper flakes.  A minute goes by and security comes running in all out of breath.  He says, here sir, I thought you might need these!  Thinking to myself, what nice people.

At yet another casino, I was done playing and walked out to get my car.  I couldn't find it, I forgot where I parked.  I walked and walked.  Finally a security patrol car came up to me.  He says, can I help you sir?  I said, I can't seem to remember where I parked.  He asked me what kind of car did I have.  I told him a 1970 Road Runner, bright Neon Yellow with a large rear deck air wing.  He radios to their helicopter that was patrolling and the helicopter told him to stand by.  The helicopter radioed to another air ship of some type and exchange talk back and forth.  They then gave the security guy the excat location where my vehicle was parked at.  Then to top it all off, the security guy tells me when he is dropping me off at my car, sir we took the liberty of installing a radio transmitting homing device on your vehicle.  If you ever lose sight of you car, can't find it or if its stolen, just call us here and we will located it for you right over the phone.  By the way sir, I'm not supposed to tell you this, but I will.  We also install on all vehicles coming into our parking lots, a special device that can let the air out of you tires or drain the gas tank if you go into any other casino parking lots.  So be careful and thanks for playing at "Play More Win More Casino".  So neat huh?

Thanks XCD.  You have successfully interested me in Baccarat.

Thanks for the compliments and little chit-chit we exchanged.  From here on out, you can ask the guy that lives in casinos and know absolutely 1,000% about everything and even the facts and actual casino doings when posted, are of course a fallacy and demeaned by the #1 baccarat expert and poster on her.  Refer all you questions to Wewinn.  Thanks guys, good luck.

I am amazed at the prejudging and the assumptions of what some of us know for decades, good luck with all your multi million dollar wins and walking in off the street and being awarded the sky for your presence at the baccarat tables.

I will answer your next question as to why.  As an Asian we would say, "Just don't belong here and my presence just seems to upset you and since I am not really needed I will just remove myself".

The white people would give the following answer or something like it.  "Bull stuff the stuff you say really is a bunch of hog wash, I'm outta here". :)

P.S.  I really don't know anything about baccarat or comps or ratings, I made it all up!

Baccarat Forum / Viewpoint from a dealer

I just read the thread "Gone but not forgotten". Wow is all I can say!  However when I thought about it for a minute or two, the thread really does mimic players at a typical baccarat table.  Pretty much to a 'tee'.

Also the postings about knowing what an average shoe looks like. Someone here must clue me in on that one.  I have dealt the game for excess of twenty years fulltime and I also have played the game on the opposite side of the table from where the dealer sits.

Can I please say the following:

What just happened is no predictor of what will happen......however at times it is and at others it is not. Same with alternating chops, two's, three's, 4's and 5's, streaks of 6 or greater, chops for 7 or 8 or 9 spots and then a tie or a pair of two's and then right back to alternating chops.  Or, let's say a few chops and then 4 or 5 of each and then a few chops and then 4 times or so 4's of each, and so on.  There is no average shoe.  Really there is not one.

I have dealt all night and never had more than three in a row and all 1's, 2's and 3's.  Then again, I have dealt all night and had almost all streaks and runs without seeing many chops at all.       ****(Meaning, just the shoes within one respective night, not what I have witnessed prior.  Just referring to what can happen in the course of several hours)*****

I have dealt to absolutely some of the best players around and the worst.  I have seen where a great player wagering correctly say 17 times or so out of 20 would choose a side and cite his or her personal reasoning out loud.  A player with virtually no experience wagers the opposite side saying out loud, because of so and so.  All of a sudden on a choppy shoe, the run of 10 or more comes.  All the players give back all their winnings and then some and the new player with no experience cleans house wagering hundreds or thousands a hand.

Baccarat is strictly a guessing game and will remain that way.  IMO we get sucked in because we tend to relate our correct reasoning to variance and predicting correctly.  The same occurrence that made the 'skilled' player correct 10 times or 20 times, will make that same player wrong an equal amount of times if you play enough.

It seems to me that the last few years have brought a trend amongst many players to wager what is dubbed the dark side.  The side that is opposite 'what it should be' according to the board or scorecard.  Again, works sometimes and during other times can't register a win either.

If the game could be beat it would not be in the casinos.  With all my hours in a casino working or playing, I have only seen people backed off from the baccarat table for being obnoxious beyond control, causing problems when drunk or a form of cheating and arrested.  Please shelf your theories I seen on here about being backed off for advantage play at baccarat, there is no such thing in the real casino world.

Systems, Variance Recognition, Key Wagering, and so on, exactly the same as guessing.  No difference, works sometimes and sometimes fails.
