Well, just Quick update on this subject, for past month or so I been up consistently 1k - 4K per session; can be 1 to 3 hours playing at $100 upto $700 per hand... Using my "method" lol...

Anyhow, I do agree all you guys - aiming for lower winning always works(well most of time) when working with large BR and when to walk way.

Well, that's what happened to me. Take any win, small win, 5-7% is enough. Then any losing session will wipe out the whole winnings, and your BR.
Been there too.

Win $400-800 with $8k maybe small for some, but how about winning $400 with $400 BR?

I choose the second. How about you?

Sorry for getting back to you late on this.  I missed this post somehow.  Win $400-800 with $8k maybe small for some because those able to bring $8K to gamble is probably well off so they winning that about is not enough especially when they don't go daily.

I still prefer the large bankroll because of the style that I play.  I find it absolutely hard to win with $400 even on a $10 min bet table.   I did bring only $300 on some occasions when I keep losing.  Once with $300, I manage to build $12K in a few weeks.  I won $300 on the first day.  My BR became $600 on the 2nd day.  Then I won another $300.  My bankroll became $900.  After that I would win $400-$600 on some days as my BR increased.   I capped my bankroll after $4K and try to win at about $300-$600 a day and some days more if I get lucky and win really early.  Some days I would even win $1200.  So during that nice run, I manage to win $12K.  Although I manage to lose almost all of it back.

I never worry about tryin to capture so much profits per session/day. I just put in my six shoe per day and let the profits come to me, hey hey.

Sometimes you're smarter than your grammar teacher.  I do hope me telling you that doesn't jinx you!
The main skills I use to beat the casino are ignorance and confidence, it amazingly works just like Mark Twain said it would.

Show me a happy loser and I'll show you a loser!

Mars is the God of War btw, and I'm at war with the casino.

Yeah....thanks for sharing ... And I pretty much figure your experience would me similar to mine. I'm glad I made right decision... If I didn't lend my "friend" so,e money then I wouldn't know how to ask money back unless he volunteer paying me back...

One of the reasons it may be true that it's harder to double, triple, or more a small bankroll vs a larger sum is because there is more room for play, and you forget to stick strictly to your unit size.

When you are playing nickels or quarters it's not to tough to double your unit size and strictly adhere to whole unit bets. However, when your unit size is 4 red chips or 3 green chips or any combination of higher denominations then there becomes a great deal of room to make partial unit bets. And you end up diluting your gains with less than full unit bets.
