I was asked the other day, give me a piece of advice to help me win when I play baccarat—my outlook is off and I don't understand how to get 'into' the game.  You know, I told the guy---which I would get back to him and to let me think about it.   

I have actually thought a lot about that myself.  And here is my answer.  'Forward Motivation'.   Personally I do well (more times than not) with what I have found to be 'forward motivation'. 

When I get into a positive 'forward motivation' winning more than losing it really sets the pace, the aura and the energy for the session.  Although there are actually only 2 outcomes that can come from any wager at baccarat, a desired or undesired outcome.  There is also alternatives a player has which he can perform actions in an attempt to obtain a desired outcome or to prevent an undesired outcome from being put on himself.  He is his own destiny, sort of saying. 

What does all this mean?  Wager to win of course.  Wager to fuel your session and go for the gusto if the aura and energy is correct.  The most satisfying wagering experience is to win and win nicely as compared to your buy-in.  Hold your win and multiply your win even larger, a few times over.  A satisfying way to gamble at baccarat if to enjoy the process from moment-to-moment.  That is another way of saying that the ultimate goal of the game is to focus on the process and not on the outcome.  When I truly, with complete clear vision and unclouded thought focus on the process my winnings stack up and I can get into my 1/3rd, 1/3rd, 1/3rd Money Management System that will allow me to take full advantage of the shoe presentment with absolute clear vision and energy with powerful motivation that allows me to multiply and stack up that win money.  Once you become scarred and attempt to install all kinds of safety nets and comfort zones, your chances to rack in that win money from following the shoe presentments will drastically be reduced if not destroyed by your trivial wagers that will only be taking away with losses that a player has to be able to endure and survive. 

IMO, if you focus on the process you will probably win or at least be able to capitalize on wins when they do happen and stop focusing and wagering for what might not happen.
