Just curious if anyone has had any success using a 3 step progression with recovery.
Such as:
1-2-4
If loss on 3rd bet go to
2-3-5 for recovery

Thanks Sputnik....I'm going to try this out. It may help me open up a larger stop win exit point. I was using 1-2-1-3 to 10 wins with a stop loss at 14. 16 shoes have all been in the positive thus far

Thanks for the link Sputnik...i like this recovery plan. Seem to hold up well. Finally after a lot of hard work and time I found a bet selection that holds up....just needed a strong recovery.

But all bet selection will hit 3.0 SD - so when you have 14 loses and 2 wins it might take some time to recover and you might want to stop after losing half the bank.
I made a test once and first i hit 12 loses and 2 wins and then recover with some more wins then i got 14 loses and 2 wins, it took 200 spins to recover.
I testing this progression with Sputnik's March with a tweak and its working great, i get 6 winning bet sequense so many times so i almost don't need any recovery.
Personally i have never seen any better existing MM ...

Sputnik what do you mean by a 6 bet sequence ?
I mean that i on average win 6 to 10 bets Before i lose Three bets.
Sometimes i win 25 bets Before i lose Three bets.

The more I test my bet selection, the more comfortable I become with a 3 step progression. Sure I'd love to flat bet it but that limits the amount won. I keep thinking about what soxfan has said about flat betting doesn't feed the bulldog and you need balls and bankroll .......
I agree with you ...
Maybe you can win and break even with 98% of your sessions with good bet selection and MM - then stop losing half your bankroll with the remaing 2%
That would be a winning strategy
