Title: Can you solve this 'viral' maths question?
Post by: Bally6354 on July 18, 2017, 05:30:06 PM
Supposedly only 1 in a 1000 get it right. I reckon that average would be a lot higher from the members on here.

There are actually two possible solutions. (I got the first one right but didn't have the patience to look at the second solution, lol)

1+4 = 5

2+5 = 12

3+6 = 21

8+11 = ?

Don't leave your answers! I will provide the link so you can check if you got one or both right!

good luck

Not bragging or anything, but I got the first solution in about 20 seconds. The second solution would probably never have occurred to me.

I got the second one in about a half a minute. The first one never occurred to me.

It was very easy. The answer will be 96

It is like (a*b)+a

I do not understand why should it be considered a tough question or if I am wrong.
