If every spin is independent then it has a 50% chance of landing on red but it has never happened on the 29th spin!
As it has never happened it can't be independent. Of course that's not to say it couldn't happen but it hasn't yet!

Peter, I can't see the logic of this at all.

If what you say is true, then you could also say something similar for blackjack. I don't know what the record is for the number of consecutive blackjacks dealt from a shoe is, but let's call it x, then you could say, "x + 1 blackjacks have never happened, therefore outcomes are not independent." But blackjack is already a dependent game for the simple reason that as cards are removed from the shoe, the probability of the next hand changes, assuming the cards are not replaced, and of course an analogous situation does not exist in roulette; a pocket is not removed from the wheel after the ball falls into it, and this is what is meant by independence, nothing to do with the number of events either blackjack or roulette has generated, which would be an issue of bias.
A small error in the principles is large in the conclusions.

I don't know about Blackjack I used to do a program for Baccarat.

But had to stop when I realised the casinos used 8 separate decks and shuffled each time (or something like that.)

Anyway that's all beside the point. I'm not claiming anything new, in 300 years or so most things must have been said already.

My source information in the main comes from the book "THE WINNING RULES of ROULETTE PRACTICALLY CONSIDERED" By Sperienza ,1905. Which supplied most of the techniques in my program, and is the basis on which my new book is based.

In Chapter XII a tale is given about a man who backs black after a run of 8 reds he wins it goes on to say   At any rate the odds are more than 500 to 1 against a run of nineā€”not 1 to 1

In continous play the most consecutive even chances is 13 (over 20,000 spins, certified). - Roulette for The Millions , p.174 - O,Neil Dunne - 1971.Though I suspect anybody who plays RNG will have seen more! If you want to bet against such figures go ahead !

I doubt that even a good part has already been published and there no longer remain systems or variations that have not been treated.

In my discourse with some members of the forum I have been amazed at the existing creativity. And yes I have come to know things not published openly that some swear to be the final system. But I always take them with skepticism and do not think all is said. I also know that the results of this million sets may not be the same for the next million. We must be very careful not to fall into these assumptions.
say things directly to show respect for other people's time. Walter.

i bought the book

not a bad $10 spent

i love the capitalist system

unfortunately I am in NY and i don't believe atlantic city offers en prison on european roulette, they only offer it on american roulette, so that system wouldn't work in the US

a shame. id do 3 spins and be done
Danny: Because the house always wins. Play long enough, you never change the stakes. The house takes you. Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet and you bet big, then you take the house.

Rusty: You've been practicing this speech, haven't you?

Danny: Little bit. Did I rush it? Felt I rushed it.

Yes I hoped I'd found the answer with the capitalist system
I thought why not  use an online no zero table like bet voyager?
But I couldn't work the maths out.  ???
I used Excel & Goal seeking but it looks impossible

By the way I found some record cards I'd saved from an American wheel in Luxor (Eygpt) and oddly enough although the wheels are different I still won. Probably a coincidence or just luck, still a lot of the same principles and bets apply so I may consider an American version of the book and Software. But as most of the techniques in the book apply and its selling over there anyway, should I bother, what do you think?

Am I right in thinking that in America you can't access European, French and no-zero tables ?

I'm away for a few days now but will be back next week
