I really think it is a great comparison for those of who that desire to think, rather than solely rely on mathematical and statistical history of the classroom and lab to figure out baccarat.

Here, let's compare:

"Picking a Restaurant":  Also Known As, making a decision to avoid contradiction. Sight, convenience, recommendation, reading reviews, coupon/discount.  Those are pretty much our 5 choices, at least to myself.  Sight, could be terribly wrong-nothing much to base on but visual aspect of the place and maybe once parked and inside.  Convenience, again pretty much at the mercy this time to where it is located and hopefully it is worth our time and money. Recommendation, we are going off of what someone else says and their tastes--are their tastes for quality, appearance, experience and value the same as ours?  Reading Reviews, again we put ourselves at the mercy of others and hopefully we all agree on the same things and tastes as well as values, but we all are different.  Discounts and Coupons, one of the largest things that draws new or even repeating customers to restaurants, but a discount or coupon is completely irrelevant to quality and experience, but helps with choices and value. 

But if a person uses a combination of all of them or several of them, his chances of success in fulfilling his dining destiny for the choice will certainly go way up, rather than focusing on one.  I think you would have to agree, No?  However, the average person for the average, 'going out to eat meal' will not do all of them or spend much time and the results could be very disappointing with the normal result at the end of the night.  "Next time I will pick a better place".  You actually did not fail at picking a good place, you valued at making a good decision yourself.  While many others might enjoy everything about the place you did not, again--it all has to do with decision making ability.

"Vetting A Business":  A much more thorough, complete, careful and critical screening of the establishment, leaving very little undiscovered or unknown.  Businesses use the 'vetting & survey' protocol all the time which would normally include, contact and call-out names and phone numbers, locations, reference checks, insurance certificates issued, qualifications and equipment spelled out and pricing issued and matched up to the clients needs or desires, etc., etc.  Virtually every 'T' and 'I' is either crossed or dotted prior to doing work together or in other words, before one business hires the other.   Would a consumer go through a 'vetting & survey' process just to go out to eat, probably not.  But I am using it for sake of comparison and to show that there are certainly different and available thought process to eliminate disappointment and problems, also--lack of proper' frame-of-mind' when something needs to be called upon and countless other things of the same nature in a short time span. 

No different in baccarat wagering.  Why rely on one or two spur of the moment things to pick a wager.  Why not something a bit more complex, time consuming and making yourself familiar with what you are doing rather than engaging in quick, indecisive decision based thoughts, upon one fraction of the possibilities, but of such value yourself?
