BaccaratLabs,

Hopefully you have a link back to this forum for those who are more into the roulette side of the table.

Baccarat Forum / Re: A nice shoe to "Trend" with
November 06, 2013, 01:28:55 AM
All,

Well, as this topic (and the shoe) were both on "trending", I figure I'll just add tonight's short play on here instead of starting up another short lived baccarat thread.

Ran over to BPH around 8pm and checked in on Table 1.   It was running all 1's and 2's for at least the last 20 hands after taking a quick look.

That just screams "opposites", thank you.

Just missed my first bet due the timer and it would have won.  I hate it when that happens.

Then proceeded to pull a quick +7 in the next 12 minutes playing opposites due to the proliferation of them in the most recent 20 hands or so.  I was up +8, lost the next bet and took the profits at that point.  No sense in giving most of it back and never fall back below +5 when you've been above that!!

No need to see what the end of the shoe looks like.  Take the win and come back again when it looks ripe one more time.

I was on a 14 session winning streak right up until last night.   So that makes tonight's session "Number 1" again in my quest for 20 in a row.  (The Gold Standard of baccarat play)

With a few exceptions, there is a gaping hole in the internet when it comes to decent baccarat forums.

Here's hoping this new one will do well.

  Good luck!!

Online Casinos / Checked out this Bovada place
November 03, 2013, 05:11:48 PM
All,

I keep hearing about this Bovada place (evidently it has something to do with the Wiz guy, who is a topic all its own) and I keep hearing good things, good games, etc.

So I go over and the sign up is easy enough with just enough advertising to clutter up most screens, but that's pretty typical for the internet side of things.

Then I go to play some test games on the live baccarat games.

Hmm, things come to a crashing stop at this point.  There is not any LIVE baccarat game.

OK, at least I didn't make any deposits, just merely signed up and got an account.

So I rummage around the place.  Seems nice enough but without a LIVE game, it's pointless (for me) to even think about playing for money there so I at least take a look at their RNG baccarat game.

Played 20 hands.  Won 19 of them.   Yep, that seems legitimate to me!  I'm sure once I had plunked down some money, that this instant 95% winning pace would continue.

So, it would appear that my hour of time was not completely wasted.  At least I confirmed to myself the RNG gaming, especially for play money, is kind of out of whack.

Online Casinos / Re: Most Trusted Online Casinos
November 01, 2013, 12:54:52 AM
All,

With a few forums coming up with "online casino" threads and which ones to play, I had to go back out and see which casinos are using who's studio for their live games.

As it turns out for me, I've just "rediscovered" the following. . . . .

5Dimes' "Vegas" live baccarat table is the same as the Black Orchid studio.

5Dimes'  HD live baccarat table is the same as Sportsbetting's studio game.

So, depending on where your "home casino" is, depends on which studio you'll get to play.

I prefer the 5Dimes/Sportsbetting (HD) casino play for the larger screen and normal cards but playing on the Black Orchid front end is not a problem either.

Adulay? do I read this Left to right then go down and start left to right again?
Tomla,

That is correct.  The first 10 hands would be . . .

Bank Bank Player Player Player  Player Bank Bank Player Bank.

Another method for notation, and one of which I use a lot  would be along these lines.

20 hands per line with each line starting with the side that hit and alternating as the sides switch.  Very easy to transfer to a play sheet for practice.   As in . . .

   P1112311111241
   B212212214111

Baccarat Forum / Re: "vs player"

Just an update from a shoe played last night on this particular system play.

Wagering was 1,2,4 and betting Banker after a single Player showed.

There were seven qualified wagers.

Four of them won with the intial wager.

Two of them won on the second wager.

The remaining qualified bet was on the last hand and it lost 1 unit.

Six wins, one loss.   Net of +5 with a high wager of 2 units.

Not bad.

As this seems to be the current "active" baccarat thread, I'll post up this recent (like tonight) shoe that I played on BetPhoenix.

See how YOUR system play faired on it.

Esoito,

Malcop has some pretty good ideas floating around and he's put in the testing time on most of them.

You can pick up some good ideas and strategy play from him.

Unlike a lot of people, he actually has the table time to back it up.

Keep your money in your pocket and hang out at the baccarat rooms and you will see the winners at most tables because they are loud players.

Follow their techniques and make money.
BacDealer,

  Really?  Follow the loud guy?

How about the guy at the end of the table that jumps up and down and chain smokes as he finally hits Banker wager after pressing it all the way up.   Yeah, I'll be following him for sure.

I have found that the people who are "yelling" out at wins are usually in way too far and are so relieved to finally get that win that they let it all out.   That's living on the edge and most of them get quiet a little later and kind of just leave the table with a wimper.

I don't believe I've seen many "shouting and jumping" players every leave happy.

But then I don't sit on your side of the table, so my limited exposure may be somewhat jaded.

Albalaha,

Like you, I would love to analyze and "mine" that data to see if it resembles anything else!

I don't believe I've ever seen that particular title anywhere locally though, only online.

I saw that after dealing one hand, it uses to burn an extra card from the shoe before dealing another.
Same thing I have witnessed in paddypower live casino too. If I am not mistaken, I saw same thing in celtic casino (VIG studio casinos) live dealers too but today I saw they are dealing in old classic way without burning extra cards.

Albalaha,

Once the casino starts making their own version of the game, it is no longer baccarat, it is "something else".

The rules of the game are simple and strict and burning a card after every hand is a local addition to the game.

I have seen this introduced to one of our casinos and within a week, the practice was stopped.  NONE of the regular players would play the game with the burned card modification.

Baccarat is a deceptively simply game.  The recent changes to it globally (Dragons, etc) are there for one reason only and that is to increase casino profits.   Yes, it gives the "gambler" some thrills, but kindly notice that it does not change the game or the way the cards come out of the shoe.

Only the burn card does that.

This all reminds me of the time Frank Sinatra saved my life.

I was making my way to the car after a night of gambling when four thugs set upon me in the car park. They were beating the living daylight out of me, and just when I thought I was a goner, old Blue Eyes comes along and says, "Ok, that's enough fella's".

...saved my life, he did. [smiley]aes/cigarette.png[/smiley]

MBB,

Good one.  I am so stealing that.
