General Discussion / Re: A good view
August 09, 2014, 10:54:19 AM
Omg is the Stardust gone ? I was there in the mid late seventies. Paved parking lots were still on the strip and wide spaces separated the casinos on the strip.   I still have a match book from the Dunes with its picture and logo on its cover. Wow, things have changed, its difficult to believe. Its interesting to have those memories of a different time.

 Greetings,
I know this is an  old thread , but had to take a look.
I'm I correct that this is a simple follow the run betting method.
And the complimentary secondary 25 dollar bet isn't needed because you can adjust your primary bet by the same amount.

And I must hit a run within the first 20 hands,  the first 19 % of the shoe.

So there are approx. 20 big winning shoes a day,  but what percentage happened with in the first 20 hands ?

Ok here's the mind twister, we have hands,  bets,  and shoes,  to consider...

There 80 bad shoes  I assume are those that do not have ANY runs ,    and    20 good shoes, those that do ...
of  which I will lose some of the 20 good shoes because I will hit my stop point - 20 bets  before my win point +$200,

Lets look at the 20 good shoes first.
Lets say I  lose an optimistic 10 shoes hitting my stop point first  ( someone said they lost 6 of 10 ,  60%  so optimistic lets say 50%)  and win 10 shoes,  only half of the good 20,  And that I'm  negative some bets  each 10 shoes I lost.  (someone say 10%  $100   to   15% $150 of the $1000 bankroll  each losing shoe) , 10 x $100 to $150 = $1,000 to $1,500 loss  lets average -$1,300   and what remains is 10 shoes  I win +200 my stop win.  10 x $200 =   +$2,000    SO  I'm plus $700 on the good shoes.
NOW the bad shoes,   I will lose some or all  of the 80 bad shoes lets say 10 % to 15% of my bankroll on average each shoe,    $130 each shoe for simple math.  80 x $130 =  - $10,400

So I will lose 10,400   and win  700   ?     is my math bad ?   Or is my luck bad ?

Greetings to all.
I know nothing about betting sports.

I once got lucky at a free weekly pick one of the casinos had each week, win or lose without a spread.    The deal was to pick the winning teams for all the weekend 15 NFL games and be the first of several hundred or so who did,  So you had to choose your picks before late Wednesday to be even close.

I did this every week becoming better at picking winners using the stats published in Wednesday paper and mental comparison.   I'd hit 9 to 13 winners each week. And then I hit all 15 and won the $2,000. prize.   A co-worker buddy who lives and talks football daily 365 says yeah its always someone who doesn't have a clue.
:) yep that's me.

Greetings !
This is to all who want to post their average number of unit bet wins per shoe ?
Is an average of one unit profit per shoe for one hundred shoes considered a good average ?
Please leave your comments and share your betting style if you wish.
Thank you ,

Can any one explain the 4D method associated with the NOR method?

In general, the larger your sample size, the more correct your conclusion of the whole group.  The sample result will be a similar result of the group in total.  What is a proper sample size, I don't know you may want to google that.  A sample size to small may result in a false conclusion.
I feel a sample size of 3 is to small for a group of 10.  Although, a sample size of 30,000 may be ok for a group of 100,000.

As we all know martingale methods don't work for most players we all have been there.
There are multiple martingale like methods out there, NOR uses a 1,2,3 like progression. There's another that uses 1 1 1 1 1 1 1, 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 , 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 going up and down as losses and gains occur.

Tomla.
Seems you're on a good track. A short three steep marty.  Betting every hand generates lots of bet action and bankroll swings.  You may think to lower your action and bankroll swings to bet after 2 or 3 in a row and or increase to a 4 step marty.  Lots of table time will be required to recoup losses at times.  Be careful of that banker commission will eat your profits, but this can be avoided.

Baccarat Forum / Re: NOR baccarat system

I've been around baccarat forums for a few years, reading lots not saying much.  In general, what I understand of NOR is that it will identify past trends of several combinations being tracked.  Mr. Ellis has mentioned that hit and run is a good way to play. He has also mentioned that you must pick a good table to play NOR.  He has also stated that you must select more winning hands than losing hands.  I feel all of this is good advice.  I like his System 40 which I was playing my version of before I knew of Mr. Ellis.  Cheers to all.
