I should think that this article was written by some kind of AI or some other stuff.

Missouri's gun laws give the owners of various establishments the "right" to post signs prohibiting firearms on the premises but MUST be displayed in an official manner.  If not, one only needs to ask the offending person to leave.

If they leave, no harm, no foul and the owner can further restrict the offending person as they see fit.

Sticking a gun into the back of a player in front of casino patrons seems so far fetched that if true, all three "security" officers should be fired and the guy sticking the gun in the back of the player should be sued.

There are laws for drawing a firearm, especially for security guards, and that was way out of line.

Which brings me to the start where I said this is probably a made up story to go with the article.

I can guarantee you that if some security guy jams a gun in my back because he saw my holster at the bac table, I'll be owning the table's profits for the next 20 years.

Most new shooters (and many "experienced" shooters) have a major fault with their grip.

In my duties as a Range Safety Officer and Match Director I get to see many new shooters coming into the sports and they are kind of taken aback at their dismal performance the first time they try any of the popular shooting sports.

The usual reason is a poor grip setup.

There are several thousand videos out there that demonstrate whatever the current popular handgun grip is and most of them are pretty good but it still boils down to the individual has to be able to change their poor grip for a good one.

The second reason is generally because the person may not be shooting a sidearm that works well with their hands and overall body strength.

Lots of older shooters, especially women, will show up with a revolver that is either too large for them or the trigger weight is so heavy that they can't pull the trigger!  My lady is like that.  Her late husband bought her a nice 5 shot revolver that is the right size for her hands but she simply cannot pull the trigger on it.

We eventually got her a small footprint Glock that merely needs 5.5 lbs to pull the trigger and she can do that with no problem.

The other big problem we see if shooters who have purchased a sidearm, got a license of some sort, depending on where they live, and then head off to the range and shoot up a box of ammunition.

They declare themselves "good to go" and never get to experience anything other than a "static range" where you shoot down a lane at a close up target.

When they get to something that involves actually moving and shooting or getting out of the way while shooting, they realize how really unprepared they are for carrying a sidearm.

Many even get rid of their current sidearm and get a new one as they realize they bought a sidearm based on advertising and not what they need for the intended tasks.  This happens a LOT.

Anyway, to get back on track. . . . .

Check to make sure you have a secure and proper grip.  This will solve a myriad of problems.

Then make sure the tool you're using is what you can work with, not what the advertising in the gun magazines say you need.

I'll see if I can drag up another video one of these days that's worth viewing.  Most of mine are pretty dull but every now and then we get a funny one for sure.

Anyway, on Monday nights we have a range session with a variety of targets and scenarios.  One of the Range Safety Officers always seems to put his Stanley mug in a conspicuous spot so that we're all aware that he has one.

Well, somebody finally decided to put him in his place.  It wasn't me as I was the next shooter.

The Stanley mug in this video is NOT part of the stage to be shot.

I used to have a BetUS account and probably still do but pulled all my remaining funds out many years ago to concentrate on one or two special projects.

Surprisingly enough, it was harder to put money INTO the account than withdraw some winnings.

There is a lot of security hoops you have to jump through to get a deposit set up.   I've only had to add money twice in all these years, mainly due to wanting to make a huge wager on the SuperBowl a few years back and after the game, pulling the winnings out was just a few clicks away.

The checks cleared my bank and no problems at all.   The very first time I took a withdraw out it showed up in two days, via FedEx of all things and drawn on a Canadian bank.

I was skeptical of the check and waited a month before using the money.   I don't worry about it now.

I will admit that there is a "leap of faith" you may need to do in order to get something deposited due to the archaic US regulations on gambling, but it's getting better and I can now do a lot of my sports wagering LOCALLY with the casinos in Florida.  This is good but still no online, live table games from them, so hopefully that comes up in the future.

  We never play on ANY of the RNG table games.  Never.

  The few of us who use the online world to play baccarat only use LIVE DEALERS that we can personally verify by testing that we're getting a fair game (as such that it is).

  An RNG baccarat game is no different than playing a video poker machine or electronic Keno machine.  But you obviously know that.

  Live dealers ONLY.

  I hope I haven't misled anyone by thinking I play any of the RNG baccarat tables.

I'm sure I'm dating myself but the wife and I really did like playing Keno at our breakfast tables a long, long time ago.   I'm sure that's all gone now and Keno runners are probably all in the old folks home by now but it was kind of fun.

If these table top machines are anything like the current crop of table top (built in) machines at the bar now, it may just be a big hit.

Well let's try this one again.

We all do something other than gamble with our daily lives and one of my things is competitive shooting.

This particular video is a run where you needed to shoot each target with three shots.  Two to the body and one to the head.  Pretty easy with an optic and a semi-automatic pistol but a little more difficult with an iron sight revolver!  And that was the division I was shooting.

As it turned out I shot it "clean" meaning no points down for misses.

I still think YouTube is a better medium for videos but I was in a hurry today so we get Google Photos tonight.

Seriously.  What are all of these newly created Pi Billionaires going to do with all that Pi money?  Sell it for BitCoin?  Purchase a new Buick?  (Shanghai has a GM Buick plant, I've been there).

Personally, I wish the best for anyone attempting to get in on the bottom floor of still another digital coin or currency.  It's fun to watch but still looks like a gambling adventure rather than an investment for the future.

BitCoin appears to be in a spiral of people who have a fear of missing out (FOMO) and this new Pi coin looks like the same mind set may take over.

I believe we've seen this picture before and we will most assuredly see it again in the future.
