Just wondering....

Is there such a thing, d'you think, as a STRESS-FREE roulette bet?

If yes, then what are some of its characteristics?

[ We'd need to consider the type and source of the stress before answering, of course.]

I believe the source of the stress comes from the unknown nature of a bet.

Yet,i have made more profit from a stress-related instinctive bet.

I have only recently played the Vertical-Matrix betting method as per a particular author's instructions and had no stress betting this way as the bet is worked out in advanced.

Perhaps a certain amount of stress is accepted whilst playing the former way as of course Roulette is a negative expection game.

Provided each session is short then any stress should not kill you !

Informative topic this.

Put 0.01 on an EC while plus is quite relaxing. Some players want the  thrilling, they put large bets and they use to play in BM casinos, the thrill is  what they play for. I think you have seen them. Use the bankroll for a few spins. bet 100 Euro, buy in 500.

Hi Ralph.

Never play for the thrill....only profit.

D/C with £5/£10 chips Live B+M suits me.

When Zero is covered as an insurance bet and hits then that is the only time i MAY sense a thrill.

Suppose you died and went to Heaven and St. Peter took you fishing.  Every time you tossed your lure, you caught a lunker bass.  How long would that be fun?  So you went bowling and threw nothing but strikes.  Golfing?  Nothing but holes in one!  Then you went to a bar and all the beautiful girls flocked to you.  After three days of debauchery, you went home and the wife made your favorite meal?

If humans were placed into the above scenario, it would soon become mental torture.  There was once a show on "The Twilight Zone" that had this exact theme.  The guy finally wanted to go to hell!!

For me there is no stressless gambling and I don't want any.  Not too much; just enough.

Hi dino,
I also regularly play a vertical matrix method for low stakes and hit-run and aim for 5-10 points per session.

Yes there are many Esoito, the average gambler hopes he will win when he bets.

The informed experienced gambler who has paid his dues and put the work in expects to win. There is little or no stress when you already know what the longterm result is going to be.

And no one should place a bet for real money until they reach that place. The golden rule is knowing the true value of what you are using.

Once you truly know this, no negative detractor can ever phase you. And you bet with confidence. There are no surprises once you have a method that takes you to that place.

I've been there a long time with a few methods. There is no stress or pressure when I use them. Just a knowing, that as long as I employ them with all I've learnt. The longterm outcome is success forever.

Forget the golf and fishing! what's the name of the bar?

Sam, from your perspective does it come down to whether or not a person plays for excitement/adrenalin-rush/recreation  or for profit?

See, the catalyst for this thread was coming across several instances in the past where system sellers claimed their product was virtually stress-free.

That got me thinking if such a thing could really exist or was it simply sales hyperbole. (You know, the same sort of thing as politicians' promises.)

I decided to seek others' opinions -- one of the functions of this forum.

After all, everyone handles losing money differently. And my guess is that losing money is a source of stress for many. As is tiredness. Confusion. Losing focus. All are stressors to some degree.
