The Power of Winning

Winning is Dangerous.  Mind Changing.  Disruptive to Schedules.

REASONING.  Winning is powerful.  Winning changes most all player's plans/schedules and protocols of wagering.  Why?  Because winning is reality and reality overrules anticipated and not yet realized possibilities. Remember that, it took me a lot of years to learn it I admit. 

Why did I just write that?  Because I developed a schedule of wagering selection to stretch over 105 sessions.  The sessions are short in the normal sense of bac play as well as not producing what the highest amount of regular bac players (and I truly mean almost all) are accustomed to winning.  However, the schedule each time, has a true 80% + chance of success and after just 3 sessions, all that is at risk, is the buy-in that is 100% profit as well.  In other words, not your bank roll, just a previously won buy-in as risk capital.  Remember, as I have preached over the years, your buy-in must be only a portion of your bank roll.

So why am I bringing up winning and this apparently negative info?  Because it is 100% fact and 100% in the casino's favor.  Read on.  I sat down at the bac table last week, bought in and as I reached my goal, not once but twice, winning affected me and sidetracked me to abandon my scheduled play, even though I accomplished my session goal twice and not even within the first session, but another one the following evening as well.

INFLUENCE IS HUGE.  Influence affects us all. Influence mixed with others winning or the all too famous, "I was going to bet that but wasn't sure so I sat out", and if the result was a win, you would have been influenced and affected. As well, if the result was you would have lost, again you would have been influenced and affected. So, if you don't think you can be influenced at the table you better sit down and really think it out, because you are continually influenced.

REMEMBER-ALWAYS ALWAYS.  Every shoe, things win and things lose.  Every shoe, those same things that won previously, can and do lose presently.  And, the same things that lost previously, win presently. Of course not in a 100% consistency of order, but an amount that will give you a large disadvantage if you are attempting a 'pure system/method'. 

COMBAT IN YOUR FAVOR.  What I will subscribe to and without question, be governed by, are the following:

* Emotional Neutralism;
* My M.M.M. allocation of my scheduled results;
* The Plan;
* The Absolute ability to leave with the results;
* An Absolute clear frame-of-mind that does not align; or compare anything except what my schedule is.

And all of those have to be coupled with:

SIMPLE SUMMATION. IMO you cannot mix what works, what might work, what has made me profit in the past, avoiding what has cost me buy-ins in the past, following others and the hope luck is setting in; in order to create a positive and consistent goal in a game that is called baccarat.

You must have the upper hand with 200% total consciousness of the 5 highlighted areas in the section above, 'Combat In Your Favor'.

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

Read the above that I wrote originally a couple years ago (almost 2 years to date). Re-read it if you have to a couple times. Understand it.

I see it over and over and over again and again and again. Wins are given back in order to extend winning time at the table. Losses are incurred in order to begin winning and the losses continue. It's a notorious and ugly catchall, taken for granted with common reoccurrence at all Baccarat  tables all the time. It happens over and over again.

However, to profit with decent and sizable wins a player must be able to wager a greater amount of advantaged bets that will win rather than lose.

You must realize what the real power of winning and losing usually imposes on players themselves. When you do realize both of those, you will be really advantaged, IMO.

And with that said, once you are in the frame-of-mind that you can profit quickly and heavily, as H-Money and myself say, you can bang it out hard-hand after hand after hand for numerous hands, accumulating large profits.

BUMP! 

I was at the casino within the last week.  Both sessions were good to great!  However, my mind was not there even though I was winning and turned profits. 

Could I have done better?  Absolutely.  Why did I blocked myself from winning a lot more than I did?  Because I fell prey to 'The Power of Winning'.

Walking out to the parking lot with my hand on the obvious bulge of cash in my front pocket, I remembered this post I wrote. 

Will explain when I write it out and define it, later tonight or tomorrow.

Okay, here it is.  After several hours of looking at my notes from the previous two good to great sessions, I was able to define what I was referring to in the above posting.

I was definitely overpowered by my winning. I believe because it came fast and hard, out of the norm, out of the so-called schedule by all means. In brief, the winning was disruptive.

Winning is always welcomed, don't get me wrong. However, I strive to control both my losing and winning wagering with merging both into my money management method.

My money management method, posted and written about enough on the forum, does control me in the upper 90% percentile of all of my play.

But my problem was, I went out of conscious and clear frame of mind.  I wagered far greater amounts, as well as not as much as I should have after the winning was coming at me, fast and hard. Yes, I far accomplished my session goal!  And while I was NOT going to color up and walk away, I followed the winning recklessly and like I said, I was out of schedule.  I wish to stress, I did not give it back, not by any means whatsoever. I had my buy in. I had my session goal and I was continuously winning at an out of schedule return rate.

I should have wagered what was winning in a different light, as well as larger amounts while merging into the temporary out of schedule, fast and hard winning, with my normal 1/3rd 1/3rd 1/3rd MMM and being conscious of my 'everything held' (buy in and previous wins/goal), so that means 2/3rds held and a continuation with the last 1/3rd of my wins for additional wins with conscious and clear frame of mind. 

The last part is what I should have done and I did not do. And that is what I am referring to, The Power of Winning can change you.
