IF in a game of single coin tossing, where u win=48 hit/100toss...

Or a roulette EC, with 48 wins /100 spins bet result, that  hit typically & randomnly.

Or baccarat, where the P=48 hit/100 bet.

What the best mild staking & progression will u use,
to win at 1-unit,
then reset and restart staking betting again. ?

I try a few progression...

FLATBET=LOSE=4U...

Labby quite ok, since it 48% win, but if only the staking won't monstrous, with long losing streaks.

It seems that Hollandish 1122..will grow to huge staking.


Group of 7, modified to

1111111,[worst loss=7, best=7].
2222222,
3333333,
4444444,
5555555...

[bet same for 7 times, win or lose...]
seems ok, but with long losing streaks, will grow quite huge too...

The "Monte Carlo's progression" ,
add one win, or lose
=
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9...till win,
seems ok  ...but will grow quite huge too...

Please show your ideas.

Try this one B-T-W and see how you get on!

Start at 1 unit.
Allow a winning bet to ride three times.
Bet 2 units after losing any 1 unit bet.

You will only need 100 units for this if you are playing 100 spins. Be patient through any negative fluctuations because there will be an average of 2-3 swings into positive territory.

Your average peak gain on this over 100 bets will be 22 units and the average peak loss will be 25 units.

Don't get greedy and quit on one of those swings into positive territory. (The sooner, the better.)

*Of course it's possible you could lose all 100 units, however the worst result in a test of 600 games x 100 spins (60,000 spins) was -82.

Be it flat bet or martingale or parlay or anything else that you can devise or read anywhere. All presuppose a particular situation to work best. In not so favorable cases, they go ridiculous. This is true about all of them.
                             If you are looking for the best progression, for all probabilities, I am afraid, you won't find any.

Spot on.  If you are winning they are the best and only reasonable thing to factor in.  If you are losing, they can and usually do compound your losses, more so than not. >>>>My experiences and also IMHO.

that without  good bet selection,
even mildest progression will do more harm!

From what I learned,
from my Guru,
suppose that, we will have 48% hit,
then wait for 'variance' to passed,
and then bet FLATBET 1u, till win.

Since 48% win, will mean 4losses in 100 bet,
if we could wait for 5 absolute losses to pass,
then flatbet 1u will bring 1u profit.

The greatest problem, of course,
is good betselection & method!

@BTW,
          You are again getting fallacious. "Extreme" needs not be followed by good or above average patches further. Hence, there is no guarantee that flat betting can do any help to you.
                  Indeed, no betselection becomes so good, after any pre-condition that it should deliver net profit, flat bet. Expecting to earn flat bet is expecting too much. Do not find the best betselection or best progression. Just find a way to "filter out" the worst cases and then try to fight the random session. You know Extreme Variance Management of both types. Use that.

Yes, you're right.

I realized that even if one has a bet selection that produce best hit, horrible VARIANCE may ALWAYS hit! 
But  with risk &extreme management, and mildest progression, even flatbet,  will ALWAYS win..
