Playing 15 ~ 20 min shoes  8)

I'll post this here, so no control freaks can't edit or remove...

Firstly it helps if you are known to the dealers, they are more likely to comply to your request for a fast game, also you don't touch the cards.

Secondly, you need to be playing by yourself, whether it is a "unlimited free-hand" game, "keep on dealing, until I ask you to stop, thanks".

Or you are able to bet both sides, losing half your wager on a Banker 6, then you just keep pushing out your chips until your trigger, then you wager for real.  For example betting against streaks of four (this doesn't include continuing blindly against any given long streak). $25 each side, forfeit $12.50 for a B6, trigger, bet $100, $200, $200

I've played many an 8 deck game in 20 minutes, this doesn't include time for reshuffle, no more than 5 mins. I'm not sure what finicky casinos are like elsewhere, but they all don't count the chips in the tray after each shoe.

As a gusstimate I've easily surpassed 3000 shoes annually, so given I've played for close on 16 years, I would guess I'm close to 50,000 shoes played, I estimate this wold be a conservative figure, a smidgen to the 1,180,591,620,717,410,000,000 possible 8 deck shoe combinations.

No one to be seduced by unscrupulous VIP hosts, accepting fine dining, free flights, accommodation only to return well and truly fleeced, then able to name drop the vultures up and down the coast and left shirtless living off memories of 'how it once was'.  One has to be thick skinned, hard-nosed to stand any chance of surviving.

Gambling consists of a lot of psychology, appearing weak, gullible and they will eat you alive, as I'm sure prominent posters of this board are acutely aware.  You can rage, throw a shoe, spit the dummy, one place were acting dictatorial doesn't work is at the table ;)

Been there, done it, seen it all.  From the Chinese woman who asked me to remove my few hundred dollar bet against her opposing $10k bet, "she said she would pay me if she lost, she didn't".  Up against a N8 for the Player, throws over a six, then rubs the remaining card on the number on box 3.  Shangalanga Bang Boom, she squeezes a 3.  Saw her a month later interstate in the VIP room, unfortunately luck had deserted her this time around.

People playing $200 max, young Chinese dude rocks up slap down $5k, wins and takes nothing off the table for the next hand!!!  Him and his mate went on to take a million or so inside 20 minutes in the VIP room few hours later, seen it, done it, sent home the postcard.

Finally, the thing about STATS and Testing, sure no absolute positive expectation should be expected, as the short run doesn't pan out like your long term stats.  However a wise-monkey as opposed to some ancient dinosaur living on tales, memories and limitation of their mental constrains, might place "virtual losses" in front of whatever the bet option may be.

Pretty simple technique really, if mathematical bet options such as 'Equilibrium v's Imbalanced, Birthday Paradox Pairs' which have a positive expectation over a series of bets (expectation of a single win, not positive for amount of possible bets placed), then again could occasionally lose the entire series, then you simply WAIT for either option to lose first, whilst doing something else.  Yes they could lose again, part and parcel of the game and yes hell may freeze over.  There exists logical ways to approach the game and illogical superstitions based on distant memories an golden monkeys.

I only buck up against 8 deck shoe and generally it takes 35-45 minute to complete, hey hey.

I've started and finished 8 deck shoes in well under 20 minutes. About 3 years ago I had the habit of playing in the early afternoon in the middle of the work day. Sometimes I'd be solo and manage to burn through 4 shoes in an hour and get back to work.

flat bet every hand with an easy bet selection.

Take heed, my friends, for, in a rather concise couple of paragraphs, this absolutely IS THE KEY to getting the better of this game, at least bet selection-wise, over the long term.  Kudos for sharing your "virtual losses" ideology.
