How many spins back should be used to say that a bet is:

* Hot
* Warm
* Cold

what is the universal formula to calculate this? Be it baccarat or roulette or another game. if you can back it up with math the better. Thank you.

Any past data could be analized in many ways.
You can check for long gaps on strait bets, dozen o even, you could calculate a delers signature, you might study the physics of the wheel.
You may analize whatever you want.
Most decitions to bet will be based in GamblerĀ“s fallacy.
To take advantage of past data you must find propper standard deviation to a certain bet in the past and check in a brand new

If you use math as the standard then you get a specific point where if your group of numbers in Roulette hits more than the statistical average then you could say that the grouping is warmer than normal. If your grouping hits less then it could be considered cold. There is a balance point in all bets that take more than one spin to reach balance. Take the dozens and a grouping of 24 numbers for instance. You need two wins to balance one loss. With Even Chance groupings you need one win for every loss to balance.

So Hot, Warm, and Cold are probably best used to describe how a session is doing against its own known balance points.

To take that even further, you might want to watch how effective you are at timing your guesses best. Even though you might have a dominant trend, your timing could be off enough for you to pick all the losers for a good stretch. It takes more than just recognizing the hot streaks. The universal formula is to know what is going on while you gamble.

Do any of you really expect Roulette to adventure beyond the realms of standard deviation? It can't. Whatever you are currently experiencing, if the wheel is fair, you will not find anything that is not normal. Now if you have found the only single broken wheel still being used in the world then that is another story. It's almost impossible to believe there are still biased wheels out there being used. Yet, people base all their play on these contraptions.

thank you for the answers . I understand that 1 hit is warm, 2 or more is hot.  what I would like to know is how many spins are necessary to say that it is cold? I find it too simplistic to say that all the numbers that did not appear in the last 36 spins are cold. Or is it so by the math of the game following the simple logic 1 = warm, 2 or more = hot, 0 = cold? thank you
