Just messing around with RX and thought I would test this progression with DBL (decision before last) on the E/C's.

The progression itself is simple....+1 on a win or loss until you reach a new high.

It always seems to go well when I give it a quick blast.

The danger with DBL would be a string of 'terrible two's' alternating.

This quick test did reach a 20 unit bet once! It needs a decent B/R and a strong constitution!

cheers

Just a suggestion, when you start seeing the terrible two's start betting opposite decision before last, even if there is a three in a row now and then between the terrible two's,
just keep betting opposite decision before last tell you lose 2 in a row, at which time you would be looking at a four in a row,
then reevaluate what you are seeing, maybe back to decision before last, it all depends on what the session has been doing overall.
Give it a try might be surprised.

Thank you for the suggestion Roulette Player.

Those 'terrible two's' have a nasty habit of creeping up on a player.

I like DBL...it handles streaks and chops ok, and throwing your idea into the mix can only help improve things.

You're welcome
I know what you mean when the terrible twos creep up on you, the trick is to learn how to recognize when they are starting to come and then use them to your advantage.

No such learning and recognising in this game...as if it was so we all would be at Lisboa casino in Macao now.

I played another 100 spins and the highest bet placed was 16 units.

There were a couple of occasions when your idea (Roulette Player) saved me!

I like this progression with the bet selection. You could do worse if you had 100 units to have a flutter with.

Bally, please do me a favor if you can , I don't know how flexible your software is to set up a different progression, but if you can try this progression, also if you can try  running it with the same two sessions that you played previously the same way you played them.

Only after you win your first 1 unit bet your next bet would be a 2 unit bet (win or lose) your next bet would be 1 unit ,keep betting 12,12,12, (win or lose) .

When you lose two bets in a row ( 1,2 or 2,1) you start flat betting with 1 unit till you win, after a 1 unit win go back  to the 1,2 progression.
You never make a 3 unit bet.
Never make a 2 unit bet if your score is -2 or more, flat bet till you get your score up to at least a 0 or -1.

I would be very curious to know how this works for you by the way if your program cannot handle this you might want to try doing it manually.
Give it a try, once again I think you might be surprised at the results.

Hello FLAT_IN_O!

How are you playing at the moment and what has been your most successful approach to the game?

Bally6354

Hello Roulette Player

Thanks for the further suggestions. I did not save the numbers and so won't be able to replay them.

however....when I get some time later today...I will test another set of spins with the different set of ideas and see how it goes.

The next 100 spins was one of those games where you would need to bring a fresh set of clothes  :stress:

Losing strings of 5, 6 and 8 were littered through these set of spins.

The highest bet placed was 61 units.

But it did recover in just a few spins!

(I will see if I can replay the string using Roulette Player's idea)

Considering it was a rough set of spins for DBL...your idea did not hold up too bad.

There were very few chances to bet 2 units in the second half of the game.

Next game:

The highest bet placed this time was 11 units.

I am going to keep testing in batches of 100 spins. I figure that's the way I would play it.

It will be interesting to see how far ahead I can get before a loss of the 500 bank on RX.

So far.....

Game 1. +59  highest bet placed = 20.
Game 2. +50  highest bet placed = 16.
Game 3. +56  highest bet placed = 61.
Game 4. +53  highest bet placed = 11.

Total = +218.  Worst drawdown from 500 bank = 144 units.

(my plan would probably be to take a 100 unit loss in a game. So game 3 above would be a wipeout. However I would still be +62 ahead from the other three winning games.)

Well.....the game is up!!  :broken:

This well and truly hit the skids.

A highest bet of 77 units!  :o

All roads lead back to the 'Kelly method' assuming you have a bet selection with an edge.

So I suppose that I should have expected this to bust out. But it's always better to find these things out for yourself and then you don't need to go back to them.

Stetson
Could you please elaborate on your progression, I understand up 1 win or lose but, what do you do when you reach the new high? Do you start over again at 1?

Thanks
