Looking for an auto-bet method where I can place the bet, select auto-bet, then
take the wife out to dinner and come home to find I made $100 and covered the
cost of dinner.

Am I dreaming? or crazy?

I came up with one such bet but I'm still testing it. It's been running on auto-bet
at Fairway Casino for about 2 hours now and has made $75.

I play dozen 1 and 3, Red, High, and the second Column.

2 units on the two dozens (4 total)
2 units on one the column
3 units on red
3 units on high

Here's the results...

10 numbers profit 6 units
15 numbers break-even
9 numbers pay 6 units, (6 unit loss)
3 numbers total loss

The win/loss odds seem OK, considering 25 numbers
either return profit, or break-even.

Anyone have a better bet selection for auto-bet for a crazy dreamer?

Welcome!

An interesting first post.

[Looks like you'll be able to buy her another dinner.   ;) ]

Just testing for now...

More craziness. Auto-Bet System 2.

I place the bet, click auto-bet and go to bed. I wake up
the next morning to discover I made $200 while asleep.

1 unit on the first 5 six-lines.
1 unit on column 2.
1 unit on column 3.

7 unit buy-in

Results:

20 numbers pay 9 units.
10 numbers pay 6 units. (1 unit loss)
4 numbers pay 2 units. (5 unit loss)
3 numbers are a total loss.

Anyone know the odds? Which is better so far, System 1 or 2?

esoito

Where exactly is this autobet roulette you're playing?

You are correct - craziness. Soon, you will find out why.

Besides that, I would pick Auto-Bet System 2... It might be steadier. But it needs a healthy dosage of money management to make it work better ... and remove the AUTO part... or it will AUTOmatically lose on your behalf.

A piece of friendly advice:  If the casino makes it easy for you to do it, it's to their benefit not yours.

BV has autobet.  Set it and it will run for 1,000 spins or until you go broke.

I'm currently testing it at Fairwaycasino.com live dealer, low stakes, $1 min.

There is an auto-bet box, some casinos have it, some don't.

System 2 has been running for about an hour and the balance is up $79.

It's strictly flat betting, no MM or progression.

Welcome to our community Leroy,

My advice is you should make a pause, enjoy your wins and test your bets for the long run prior to reconsidering starting again.

A good maxim when playing: if there's no timeline tracked, then no go.

To me, the only "auto-bet" would be a custom automated bot with conditional bets + sensitive money management based on current conditions, according to the stream of hands evolving, and certainly adaptive. I can't recommend a fixed/stiff bet.

Best regards and thanks for being here with us.

Thank you.

I'd be interested to know the why of your opinion.

If a bet profits (10 numbers) or breaks even (15 numbers) on 25 out of 37 numbers
is not the odds of winning good.

The auto-bet feature is a bot, sort of. If the bet has a statistical edge over 50% win
rate would it not, in theory, be a winning method?

Past experience. Once upon a time I considered 20,000 spins on the dozens/columns to be a huge sample, and tried to find special "no show" patterns without realizing they were stiff. I've learned a lot, ditched many "fixed" methods, and came up to be in peace with the fact no stiff bet wins; it only has spurs of luck, which can last even thousands of spins, but are only spikes which aren't the whole graph.

I'm not going to tell you to stop playing, specially when you're winning. My best advice is this:

- Keep accurate tracking of every *unit* you make.

- Keep on betting your positive/winning streak to its fullest (it might be a week or a lifetime long one, that's why it's called gambling, with Mr. Random and Lady Luck lurking at every moment).

- If you give back 50% of your earnings, stop betting for real money, lock the profits and either a) never lay a single bet again (the casino can't take it back if you don't put it in game) or b) if you're willing to go on, prepare yourself as much as you can; don't go back to the casino until you have a working method.

All things said, for most casino players it's better to get addicted to the testing rather than to the betting. That is unless you win, but even then, fallback to being a tester on 50% reversal of luck.

...It's better to have half a house than no house, but it's best to let it go on if your game allows you to continue until you have a building. Just learn to react, don't be like the winning players who think they've found the "holy bet" and let themselves realize the true status of their bets only after they fall down entirely. As much as every long winning streak starts humbly, a reversed prolonged streak is first a tiny reversal in your balance, which can be easily identified by a peek at your accounting.

Best wishes for you to "get a building", but please remember the half-a-house advice if you see the tables turning.

Keep accurate records and by all means cling to your common sense.

Wow. Thank you Vic. I'll have to copy that to my "roulette" file and read it several more times.

I was hoping to pick the minds of the most experienced and I got it.

I'm still not convinced my auto-bet method won't work but that's an Aries for you. I'll keep
testing it until it proves to be a winner or tanks.

Good advice! Thanks again to you, and all others, for your time.

Leroy

OK, here's an update. System #1 above seems to work best, so far.

I'm testing at Fairway and kicked it up to the mid-range min-max option for betting amounts.

I have ever single number covered. Most of the 37 numbers return a profit.

$5 on zero
$22 on 1st and 3rd Dozens
$33 on Red
$33 on High
$22 on 2nd Column
$2 on 13 and 15 (Blacks middle dozen)
$1 each on 17, 20 (Blacks middle dozen)
$2 each on 22, 24 (Blacks middle dozen)

Total bet is $147 (no stress in fun mode, right)

Profit in 2 hours is $863

I'll let this run all night at the original 12 unit value in my first post and report back tomorrow.
it's 10:51 pm and the wife is ready for bed. I won't tell her I can't sleep.. :applause:

"I'll keep testing it until it proves to be a winner or tanks."

Or loses 50%, as per Victor's advice based on considerable experience!

My long term prediction (3.5 days) is FAIL...

Good luck anyway!

Well done, Normy!  That should help put the matter to sleep.

So many of these sorts of one-shot wonders start off well and then spectacularly implode a bit further down the track -- just as we can see above.

If I were you, Leroy, rejoice about the profit made, and STOP before you hand it all back...and some...
