This is well known, but often misunderstood. We process in the brain, most of it without having to be
aware of it.
It can take up to half a second before our brain makes us aware of what is already being treated unconsciously. Sometimes the body react on our subconscious before we think we think. You can try it with a phone, resting at the bed you will notice a half second before one is aware of the ringtone that something is going on. Often physical reactions. That can be a wrong conclusion "You know it will ring before it does"
