I would like to ask especially native english speakers to tell me correct using of abbreviation IMO.

Somewhere I read it means "in meaning of" and somewhere "in my opinion"

So which is actually (more) correct?

The one I see the most is usually IMHO --  In My Humble Opinion

Never heard of the "in meaning of" you referenced...but I don't get out much so who knows

a way of saying you don't agree ....but in a non offensive way. IMHO is even less offensive
You will get a better chance of being listened to than.....

Subtle misuse of a second language is common. Its difficult to avoid misunderstanding

I often used it when I wanted to say "in meaning of".. but you don't use it for that obviously... In my opinion will be for the future.
