It seems there is a new wave of spammers.

They are doing "passive spamming", which basically it means to paid humans to break "captcha codes" in order to infiltrate, then putting their websites on signatures and profile fields with the sole purpose of staying undetected for as long as possible hoping search engines will pick their links prior to their deletion.

Some measures such as having to ask for approval for having links in signature are going to be in place.

The problem with passive spammers is they aren't noticed as easily, hence we must hit them right where they are trying to (ab)use us to fool the search engines. Profile fields and signatures.

For fair users it will only mean to contact staff to approve the site(s) wanted in your signature and/or coping with enhanced captchas.

Also please report any unusual PM you might receive (trademark of silent spammers too).

Spammers need to be eradicated, with zero tolerance in order to keep our community clean.
