Hi fellas,

Long time no see :)

Can you recommend any good live dealer roulette casinos online out there these days? I used to like Smartlive, but I am no longer able to load it.

Cheers

Timeout. It is banned in my country, I guess. I should try with an alternative DNS/proxy maybe...

When I play live I tend to use William Hill French for low stakes. I've had no problems
It's not always easy to find but its usually there somewhere!

Agree with Mathmagician regarding Will HIll Live french as I too have a general distrust of most RNG tables despite them being sooooo much quicker.

However....

Last week I encountered my first issue with Will Hill Live French roulette.

Was involved in a small progression on some neighbour bets and they came out on the 3rd spin. Bet was confirmed as placed and winning number came up and wheel stopped, etc. but before my winnings were sent to my balance a server error message popped up and the game terminated. Message wasn't particularly helpful just stating that a server error had occured and I should contact Will Cmr Services - which is what I did straight away.

After a fruitless 20 mins on Will Hills online chat line to try and resolve the problem it was agreed to pass the issue on to their technical team for further investigation. I was promised that I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours with a resolution. This was over a week ago now. I can't see me getting those winnings back somehow!

Problem is, if you use the Will Hill bet history feature it only takes you back to the preceding (losing) bet which confirms the bets I was wagering on but doesn't include my winning bet when the server issue occurred despite this being a repeat bet.

I think Will Hill uses a third party 'live' casino as it appears to be exactly the same one used by SkyCasino. Presumably, they would need to contact that company to confirm that there was indeed an error at that exact time as I'm guessing they take their 'feed' from them? Interestingly, my wager was returned after the last bet - therefore if it had lost they wouldn't have returned the stakes and/or this confirms an error occured? Am I right?

Anyway, don't want to put anyone off using Will Hill live as this is the first and only time after many, many uses of their site that I've encountered such a problem. Will Hill in the meantime are sending me emails every 2 days confirming that their technical team are still looking in to it and apologising for not having got back to me. I'm not holding my breath on this one!

Particularly annoying at the time as the winning bet had just nicely covered a small losing streak I was going through and would have more than covered this and left me in profit! Whereupon I was just about to quit (honestly!).

Good luck everyone.

Update to my recent issue with Will Hill Live French Roulette....

Well, I eventually got a resolution to my earlier posting regarding not receiving my winnings.
After 10 days or so with no contact (apart from apologetic emails every 2 days saying sorry for the delay our Tech team is still looking into this) I got an email saying that they could find nothing untoward with my issue.

I promptly replied asking if they had confirmed their logs for a server error at the time of my last bet? They replied later that day neither confirming or denying this and would stand firm on their decision but as a 'gesture of goodwill' would refund me £28 (which was almost what my winnings would have been).

As this saga had dragged on long enough by now I gratefully accepted this (if honest I didn't expect to get anything back!) but when I logged back into my account the funds were only being offered as a 'bonus' to play with! This was clearly not the same as a gesture of goodwill refund of £28! So I promptly called Cmr Services who agreed that the was misleading (they had a copy of the email I had been sent as well).

They agreed to recredit my account with the £28 so I could either choose to withdraw or continue playing in the casino with this amount.

I just wonder if I would have received this amount back if had I not threatened to close my account down and refer the matter to the Gambling Commission? Anyway, after a bit of persistence I got my money back which I didn't think would happen as at the time of the error I hadn't taken a screenshot on my PC so couldn't actually prove what I was saying was in fact true. I shall remember next time!

As previously stated, I've never had any issues with Will Hill previously after many plays on their online and live casinos. This restored my faith in them a little and historically I have made some good gains from this company so didn't really want to close my account down.

Two things to learn from my recent experience; 1) Be persistent and don't be afraid to threaten with account closure or referring them to the relevant Gambling authority in your particular country and 2) take a screenshot of any error messages or server error notifications if they happen as this is irrefutable evidence in your favour and can't be ignored by a reputable company.
