Thanks!  It is very important that for this person's account records, it just seems like Secret Santa paid if you get me...  ;)

General Discussion / Secret Santa
December 21, 2016, 03:57:08 PM
'I have a friend' that has some bills and I want to take care of a few of those bills for them.  I don't want them to know who it is at first or maybe at all. Kind of like it was a Secret Santa or Santa.  How can I do this?  Searching online and prepaid gift cards may be an option.  But can you use prepaid gift cards to pay bills like credit card bills, cell phone, insurance, cable, car payments, etc.

Las Vegas Sun:
To reverse fortune of table games, stop squeezing the players, experts say

To clarify, they like an armada of $5's or $25's, etc.  I often see players play with a rack of same color chips and they incorporate how much they have visually.  For example, they like to make chip towers or fill a rack, etc.  I really don't see a point unless they are $100's and this is for baccarat not poker.

Most baccarat players benefit from a packed house with as many tables going as possible and I just wonder on slower nights.  Consistent players are like the tip of a spear and it seems like it only takes one or two bad experiences to sour them when most everyone is working their tail off for the guests.

It is far easier and more profitable to accommodate existing customers/ clients/ guests than acquire new ones.  Interesting to note slow times and guests receiving poor service or having really off experiences.  Maybe that is why it is slow.

For example, there are some players that prefer to play with certain lower denomination chips. Yes, it does take more work for the staff to work with such only certain denomination of chips. But if it is a difference between a player playing at that house or going elsewhere, is it really that difficult?

Sports Betting Forum / Scout Level Game Review
September 25, 2016, 05:23:21 PM
Unfortunately, I have no opportunity to watch any college football, ESPN, etc.  I have found that watching games is helpful to making picks.   Any scout level service out there which packs in a whole game(s) into much shorter highlights, etc.?  That is, it replicates watching a bunch of games in much less time.  I figure copyright and usage law weighs in.

Most interested in college footballs as I have found NFL to be much harder.

Thanks!

Pressure to win makes it a battle ground.  It's all relative. The more you press risk and aggressive play given the size of your bank roll, the more it becomes like a battle.  That is why it must be completely awesome to have a substantial bank roll and have relatively conservative goals that still are meaningful in terms of our economy.

For example, someone who has 10 racks of $100's to really play with just shooting for a few thousand of win a session.  Last session a 9-9 tie when I was very much pressed for a win, and I stated F$$$ twice around to my right and power walked - lol to a different part of the house.

What should we learn from this and risk taking? 32.33 repeating of course percentage - lol.

And before you get any ideas, I will testify in high court that I have never played World of Warcraft, but I do think this is funny as hell.

what are you talking about here?

I started a thread on the fallacy of 'In the long run' and gambling which pikers that don't play seem to believe in.  I deleted it along with most all my content on this site because I am pleased to join the majority of players who will never post, put in work, and grind win.   We continue to evade the Dark Wizard (Wizard of Odds) and his death dealing Black Riders because their super secret shuffle machines are one step behind us.

It's about bet selection first.

Mostly likely we underestimate how fast we can lose AND HOW FAST WE CAN WIN!  Strike smart, and take a step back from consecutive losses.  Easier progressions and shoes right nearby.

This is winning and you making the right bets to go along for the ride:

When you are aligned with what the shoe is doing a good amount can be your skill, but it is not as difficult as other parts of that shoe or other shoes.  I made a huge mistake the other night as I got up big (for me) fast and then I went virtual because of it.  My selections kept on hitting and I could have made a lot more because the show was complying with my view on the game and bet selection approach.  DAMN.

Smart progression and bank roll.  Bank roll is a big factor, but so is laying in wisely.

Could you do it if this was on your side of the table?  Maybe not if you co crazy with it.

Asym,
You started with a wrong direction. There is no equilibrium in a game of house edge as every bet is subjected to that and in long run, all bets will go far from equilibrium in terms of "extra losses". Variance can take them even more far. Even in a game without any house edge, a bet might not get equilibrium even after a billion trials.
D'alembert is a classic comedy of errors and based on ideas that do not work in real life. It has no mathematical basis to make it a winner.

This reality only exists in the chambers of The Dark Wizard.  Please exercise extreme caution or he may summon his Black Riders to come and get you!

Now I understand.  This is somewhat how I win back.  If I am building a net loss on mini and midi, I have frequently gone into rally mode and decisively won back on midi.  I have never gotten that deep, and my best sessions never really went too rough at any point.

If you are having difficulty it is because it is most likely a bad combination of you and difficult progressions.  All it takes is some progressions that are straight forward and clear to you and you can roll.

Ok I now understand you are going for two consecutive wins after the losses.  Then I don't understand the last column 'gain after the equilibrium will be reached'.  you are just trying to find two wins after a possibly huge series of losses?
