Thanks for your input on this Wannwin. However, the example you've given doesn't represent what my aim is. Perhaps I haven't explained it the best.
It is essentially the opposite of what you are suggesting i.e. (1 person pays full price, others get it for free).

My aim is this:

- Have a website with a library of software tools which are useful to players.
- Everyone pays a small monthly fee for accesss (say $5), Except those who contribute new ideas that result in a new Tool being made.
- Not every idea is coded into a Tool ... need to filter out junk or systems\tools that don't have a wide enough appeal.
- Users vote on which idea(s) gets coded, giving them the power to influence future development.

So, essentially a person with a good idea which results in new software gets rewarded (maybe not lifetime membership, but 1 month free or something).

No one would really pay 'full price' for any one tool since costs are covered by a low monthly fee for everyone. This would be to everyones benefit since no one would want to pay what it actually costs to develop each tool they would want to use.

I appreciate your input on RX also, will do some reading on that.

Hi All,

I'm interested to know what you guys would find useful in terms of software for Roulette playing? i.e. Trackers, Clickers, Calculators/Money Management etc.
I've coded roulette software before and am thinking of starting a site where users can submit their ideas for the categories mentioned, have me code it and would
be available to all for a small fee.

The one thought I have is, anyone submitting an idea that I code would get free site access. This would encourage a flow of new ideas/tools that everyone can use.
My vision is to have a site which serves as a 'Toolbox' if you will where there exists many useful programs\tools for Roulette players.

So let me know the kinds of tools you'd like to see coded, besides a Holy Grail of Course! :)

Cheers,

General Discussion / Re: Global Library of systems?
October 26, 2014, 12:34:14 AM
I agree with much of what has been said so far. However, lets think about Tools & Strategies instead of systems for a moment.

Systems are very specific, rigid ways of playing. Everyone has their own and they tend to get dismissed the moment they lose money.
Strategies on the other hand are more generally defined i.e. Hunting for "L" in WL patterns or other opportunities.  The goal is always
the same in a strategy, we can however get there in different ways. This means we don't have to rigidly make that same bet every time
condition 'X' happens. We can search for the right opportunity then decide if the conditions (bankroll, win or loss streak etc) warrant a bet.

Strategies allow many players to play the same general way, for the same goal, each being able to tweak their style and share results.

I have an idea... What if we had a library of Software Tools which reflected everyone's style of play/strategy. They would be generic enough so
many people could use them in slightly different ways. The free software on here I've seen is VERY specific to a single play style/system. This makes
it useful for the person who created it but not much else.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the efforts of my fellow coders here. It's just that we need an overall system which everyone regardless of coding skills
can contribute to, and benefit from.

I've coded tools & trackers for myself and others before in support of strategy play. I'm willing to code tools for some money. Here's how I can see it working:

I charge a flat fee per tool/job, based on the amount of work. It would be significantly less than the costs of a custom bot (which I don't really do).
Let's say $25-50 per tool. (I've seen bots quoted from $150-250).

That tool would be made available for download on an external website (which I would run & pay for). Anyone else would have access to the tool for a small fee. The original purchaser
would obviously have access for no additional cost. However they would get free access to any OTHER tools on the site as well, FOR LIFE. That way they aren't just fronting the
cost of their tool for everyone else. They are paying once and getting access to MANY tools. Could also offer incentives for people who contribute more than once.

Anyone who wants to just use the tools can do so at a minimal cost say, $5 monthly membership. That gives the people paying for coding an incentive to contribute good ideas
and a low cost to access the tools for everyone else.

This is just an idea, not set in stone. Let me know what you think.
I've attached some of my previous work as an example.

Straight-up / Re: Lucky Nine *FINAL*

Hey Mate,

Not tryin to rain on your parade but your progression doesn't look realistic. If you plot out the numbers, you stop making a profit at the end of the '2 2 2' cycle.
I don't think you've factored in the cumulative losses. Have a look at my Excel Sheet below. Also, going to a 60 step progression (while OK for table limits) means more than 5,000
units at risk here ... yikes!

Free Releases / Cascading Sectors Tracker
May 25, 2013, 08:40:43 PM
Hi All,

This is for those who like sector based play & using Lw patterns. I've been frustrated by having to wait so long for the desired Lw to appear, spin after spin after spin.

So I decided to look the wheel as having infinite sectors. On a single '0' wheel, 0 to 15 is a sector of 3 numbers, however if we shift 1 number to the right we still have a
sector of 3, just 1 number different. In this case 0-32-15 becomes 32-15-19 then 15-19-4 and so on around the wheel. We can do this for as little as 2 number sectors all the way to 36!

Going that far would defeat the purpose, but say we stop at 12 number sectors and rotate through the wheel 1 offset at a time. For each length of sector (2-12) that gives us 37 unique
sectors! 407 in total.

We need software to track this into Lw's of course. I've attached a rudimentary tracker to illustrate. May want to have a wheel layout handy to help visualize.

Cheers
