Baccarat Forum / Baccarat for a living

I only have played baccarat games for 16 years; I play baccarat almost every day. Flat betting does not give me an edge, following the old theories of playing like following the shoe presentment, like bet this when this happens, bet that when that happens, follow the patterns, LIKE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND- Nope, it does not work for me. What works is doing what is best for you. Strive to be patient at the table and know how much you want to make a day. Figure out what kind of bet selection you want to play and your MM. Know what to do when you lose.

Baccarat is very difficult to beat. Don't fall into any snake oil salesmen out there because they are there to get your hard-earned money. Yes, I was a victim myself. So in summary, no one will be kind enough to share his or her winning strategies at the table. If you want to play baccarat for a living, create your own strategies. Also, expect many losses before you can be successful.

Hello Bhumibol

First bet is 2 units. After winning the initial bet, you then jump up a row and the bets then proceed from left to right (a to c) on a loss and from right to left on a win should you need to do so.
So the next row after the initial 2 unit bet is 2 2 4.
First bet would be the 2a. If you win this bet, you would then jump up to the next row which is 2 4 4.
Your first bet in this row would be the 2a. If you lost the first 2a bet in the previous row, your next bet would be the 2b.

The examples on the other thread go through some winning and losing situations and pretty much explain things.

Hope it helps.

cheers

Bally:

Thank you very much for the clarification, and thank you for your prompt reply.

Regards,
Bh

Hello Johno

I will post up some game examples in the Bricklayer's wall thread along with the author's summary.

cheers

Thank you, Bally. What I do not understand is after winning the base bet, you are supposed to make a bet from right to left or from C to A as outlined on the chart. It goes like this:

336
244
224
2

So I won the 2 units>next I bet 4 units, right? If win, bet 2- if lose, stay on 4nits until win again and then move to the next step, in this case, bet 6?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Cheers!!

Thanks Ted!  I am trying my best.  He showed up an hour ago in tears.  I do my best.  He took a shower and crashed out.  Told me he knows if he is here in my house, he can't run to the one casino a few miles from his house.  He is convinced that if he keeps playing he will win and win it all back.  Oh lord,  he will learn.

Thanks Babu.

I use it with a bet selection that calls for a few bets per certain decisions and only look for 3 unit wins. Maybe this is why I do well with it.

I will report again how it goes in the next 6 months or if it does not hold up before than.

If I can recall correctly, it requires successfully winning two in a row.  I think the sequence goes 1,1,3,....

I tried it and failed miserably.  It's great when it worked but I busted 6 or 7 out of 10.  Although I don't know what the bet selection side of it was like.  I just know with that money scheme, I failed.  I would love to see someone demonstrate success with it for at least 15 SESSIONS consisting of 8 shoes without busting.

Found it:

This is my parlay style, hey hey.
1-1-1-1-2-3-4-6-8-11-15-20-27 units bets
3-2-1-0-2-3-3-5-5-6-7-7-8 units profits

Yes, his is a 13 steps progression uses 100 units. It is not a martingale. It is working well for me. I never had to go pass the 8th step and again, I only looked for a few units of win each day.

If I remember correctly, Sox fan was using 13 steps 100 units negative progression.

Fairway and Betphoenix.ag casinos might be good ones for you. BetPhoenix.ag is not play for fun friendly. They only allow $1000 fun money play and will not recharge if you lost the initial $1000 amount.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!!

Thank you, Mark.

I am having a hard time avoiding the terrible two's using this VDW. As we all know, it is inevitable in every shoe, the terrible two is showing up.  Is there any other suggestion to avoid this terrible two? Thank you.

This is where I bet for 123 and 567.

Thank you, Albalaha, for sharing your experience and knowledge on the game of baccarat and roulette. I wonder if your preferred bet is player, what is the best MM that would go well with it?

To answer your question, 5dimes or Black Orchid Casino offer play for fun option. I like to play for fun on Betphoenix because it is an 8 deck baccarat shoe. The 5dimes and Black orchard offer 6 deck ones.

I sometime wondered about this, however,  where is the gaming commissioner on this issue? I am perplexed as to how could this be considering the house already has the edges on the game?

If this is the reality,  where is our protection, as player?

It amazes me that people come up with these ways of making money by taking it from the people but not using their systems to make  the  money at the tables?

I was naive enough to believe and buy a few of them!!
