Sports Betting Forum / Re: surebets/arbitrage

Hello kunfubac, thanks for your answer
As we often play in 2 or 3 bookies at the time, it is hard to keep track
Some of them have restricted my bets to 1 or 2 usd, that is why I must doublecheck maximums before placing any bet.

Very interesting youtube video
Was there any topic about parrondo in this forum before?

Any past data could be analized in many ways.
You can check for long gaps on strait bets, dozen o even, you could calculate a delers signature, you might study the physics of the wheel.
You may analize whatever you want.
Most decitions to bet will be based in Gambler´s fallacy.
To take advantage of past data you must find propper standard deviation to a certain bet in the past and check in a brand new

Online Casinos / Re: Double Ball Live Roulette

Can anybody tell me if this wheel has similar odds as a regular one?
There is a table with odds of this wheel at the other forum(wizard)
Is  there any bet better then others?

Playing a single number gets the ultimate variability to be up the longest possible.
For instance, you have got 53% chance to be at least +1 unit in a 179 spin play
As pne said, there are no wasted chips playing 1 number. playing 2 number has got a at least 1 unit wasted, because only one numbers comes at the time.

Good or bad luck is what happens within +/- 3 standard deviations.
The expected value will be faced in the end.

This is something that has always made me wonder.

The Van Keelen Test says that you need 55% wins flat betting over 1k placed bets.

What if you were able to hit 52-53% wins flat betting over 1k placed bets consistently? And by consistently I mean if you are able to accomplish this with at least a 60% session strike rate, 6/10 times. Would you consider that an advantage?

Although I think that it helps being at or more then 50% strike ratio, the key for me is in variance of the W/L distribution.

Now comes my next question...

How many placed bets does it take to consider the variance of your bet selection? If you have 5k placed bets and you have never seen more then 10 losses in row and it has only happened once do you consider that a good thing?

I would like some opinions on this. And I also to think it would be interesting to see what others set their bench marks at when it comes to testing requirements.

At 1000 trials, playing an even money bet (18/37 european wheel)
600/1000 hits means 7.2 standard deviations playing 18 numbers.
I would say say your bet selection has hit at a higher rate than a random selection goes.
You have already an advantage for the next 1000.
At previous 1000 trials you might have some positive or negative fluctuation, so, next 1000 test could be from 500/1000 to 700/1000
nice you decide you have got the advantage, a harder work is to set the exact edge.

kind regards

AP guys do not rely upon any mathematical progression or "system". Their advantage wins money for them in long run.

They can, however, do increase their bet sizes and capitalize gradually to win even more. You must have heard of "Kelly criterion".

Kelly criteron is said to be the unique Money Management an AP should use.

Many randomness experts try to beat a 2,7% to 5,26% game, an uphill task.

Why don`t you try to improve a +1%(on 10 to 18 numbers for instance) edge scenario?

The Perfect Gambling Solution!

How about combine both roulette system with advantage play, physics.
A hybrid using the best of two Worlds.

Cheers

It is said that mathematical systems and AP world are like oil and water.

I believe, it is true

50 years ago, Ph Allan N. Wilson studied "Oscar`s system" to try to find a math system that stood the most

20 years later , PH Stewart ethier studied and tested Wilson`s ideas.

But, we can ever learn new theories

All math systems sink because of house edge, a +1% seems to solve the problem

AP business has positive expectation, but, often has very low edge

A combination of both might improve an edge, or ease a protocol.

I do not recommend any way to play.

It is just a comment.

Methods' results / Re: XXVV's WF3 system
April 11, 2016, 01:56:15 PM
 Hi xxvv,
I appreciate your informátion.
As any hot numbers system, has its weakness in the time to start and stop playing.
You can not know when to do it.
We could try to find out the cause a number hit twice is due to hit better than the others.
With random tools you are not capable to predict it
Chasing sleepers might be the best way to lose more than house edge because these sleepers could be defective
Playing after a repetition is not harmfull but -2.7% to 0.
I would like to know more about it
Warm regards

Being realistic,
You can simulate 100k or a million trials
You hardly store these data from each wheel.
RNG outcomes can show random extremes in short runs but data tend to go to the averages. You will not see +/- 3,5 to 4 standard deviations in a RNG data
Casino data might show some deviations( 3 or more sd) in a long run(100k) due to bias or another situation,
