General Discussion / Re: Certainty and control
November 05, 2012, 03:05:43 AM
QuoteBut I am saying the certainty of a repeat. In 4 spin, there will be at least one colour which repeated twice (either red, black or green)In 5 spin, there will be at least one dozen which will repeat twice (either dozen 1, dozen 2, dozen 3 or zero)In 38 spin, there will be at least one number which will hit twice or more (100%)

What are you saying buddy? when there are only two choices, then one has to come at least twice in three decision. It is like saying that in three flips of a coin, wither "Head" or "Tail" will appear at least twice. This in not a certainty of repeat but rather two independent choices in every flip.

                         G. U. T. may look great to some of the members here but as any other systems, it fails to produce anything in long run.
G. U. T. is not an answer to the randomness of roulette, though it is a way to try your luck.
Yesterday, I was chatting with my buddy "Ophis" who is a a nice programmer, as to why he never considered putting G.U.T into his Multi System Tracker.
Here is my chat with him:

[11/4/2012 7:56:27 PM] sumiteshwar: u r pretty experienced with softwares
[11/4/2012 7:58:02 PM] sumiteshwar: Have you ever tried G.U.T. of winkel?
[11/4/2012 7:58:21 PM] sumiteshwar: in  your MST or anywhere seperately?
[11/4/2012 8:18:43 PM | Edited 8:19:05 PM] ohsteos: in theory its great... in practice... too many numbers to bet... not clear explanations when what to bet.... could never reproduce results
[11/4/2012 8:19:01 PM] sumiteshwar: yeah
[11/4/2012 8:19:10 PM] sumiteshwar: It never impressed me
[11/4/2012 8:26:31 PM] sumiteshwar: but it was too much hyped on all roulette forums
[11/4/2012 8:28:38 PM] ohsteos: because its complicated...
[11/4/2012 8:28:50 PM] ohsteos: ppl didint understand so there was lots of discusion

Paddypower does refund your bets several times. Doesn't happen with ladbrokes ever.

What's the minimum on an inside number?

$0.25

I do not know much about US friendly ones but for rest I think ladbrokes is the best in all aspects. It has all RNG and live dealer games. You can bet even $0.25. They pay within 6 hours mostly.

Proof,
You are asking whether past bad performance be compensated later of a dozen and by coming more frequently can it recover.

My answer: not necessary in short run but for sure in long run.

I have analysed thousands of sessions ranging from 50 spins to 3 million spins.

In long run, all numbers will balance out and they can differ only by 1% max (the difference of the best performed number and worst performing one, in a million spin)
But the trouble is, we play short sessions, not more than 200-300 spins in live casinos/live dealers/slingshot roulette online and max 1000 spins if we play RNG. In such situation, it is not necessary that every set of numbers will occur very evenly, as a whole be it a dozen, an EC or any betselection that you can opt in roulette.

This will be great. Let crude brainstorming ideas come, apply your tweaks, put different money management tricks and we may find a polished and beautiful Gem.

QuoteIt went something like 1 of the most recent 6 spins were going to repeat if they had not in "X" number of spins.Perhaps it was 20 or 21 ?

There is nothing like that. Any set may turn sleeper for any stretch of time. Nothing is ever due to happen. Come out of this ancient "gamblers' fallacy". It has no room in mature world. If numbers of last 6 spins have to appear after 20 or 21 spins, one will wait for 15 misses and start applying martingale on all numbers and win for sure in the first hit. I have trackers and bots which can analyse any data for such variances and i have seen as long as 40-50 spins passing without any number hitting from past 6 spins.

I wonder as to how in today's world people are still believing that there is a limit of variance and that can be utilized.
I can clearly pronounce that: there is no absolute limit of variance in any betselection, that can be utilized to earn even one unit by risking even thousands of units.

Roulette is a game of randomness, chaos or uncertainty. Theoretically, there is no certainty. Any number or set of numbers may appear or not appear for any stretch of time. In a real casino, I have personally experienced a number did not appear in 600+ spins.
There are a few things which are practically certain, in long run:
1. Law of third
2. All numbers come near their break even point
3. Flat bet loses (mainly due to house edge)
4. Those who wants to use any negative progression clearly go beyond table limit
and many more things are practically certain.
The real issue is to utilize them for your gain.

QuoteEnjoy the process and don't be frustrated.

I can enjoy only if I see anything going in a direction.  I would love to be proved wrong. I hope Victor will come up with nice trackers etc.

I just wish that this newly born forum doesn't become just another forum but a place to refer even by professionals. If you see my personal board http://albalaha.lefora.com you will see that never allowed filth being gathered there. There are only a few "full systems" and debates but if you go through them, you will appreciate the contents.

Quote this forum is not going to suit you
I don't believe in predictions but logic and believe that predictions are neither possible nor feasible. Just telling play this or that is not a system. A system to me is a systematic and well defined approach to play in a particular manner backed by any logical or mathematical order. I can't help if you believe it otherwise.
It is a debate and let it flow like that. If I am wrong, I will hear lots of noises against me here. There is nothing personal.

It doesn't matter whether you bet dynamic set of numbers or static ones. Success lies in intelligent money management and a bit of luck.

G.U.T. is failure in long term. go to download section of vlsroulette and get excel tracker of G.U.T. to check it yourself.
#1949
Most of the so-called systems simply lack any logic. Testings are always done upon small pieces of data. It leads to wrong conclusions regarding playability of any system, in long run.

Dozens of forums. Thousands of members and posts. 100s of topics but are we getting somewhere near perfection or rather learning only fanciful ways to try our luck without any substance or logic?
Most of the old forums gather so many active (those who write every fanciful way to play which comes to their minds) and inactive (those who can only appreciate or criticize methods) members but the debate never goes in a structured manner. Nobody talks of hows and whys. Play this way, play that way. Result: win in 5 sessions with +50 units and 6 session goes in -80 something.
Result: Those who are looking for any magical trick to earn from these places, disappear or get silent after some time.

If we want to get something positive and constructive, joint and constructive efforts are required from various topic starters, testers and programmers. Otherwise every other forum will be same. Lots of writings, Nothing worth learning.
