OK, may I retract something?  The word "silly"?  That was not meant as a put-down.  Maybe I should have used the word "whimsical" or "amusing".  What I meant was that the system is so very easy to play.  Not that the idea was silly; actually it's very good!

I find it amazing how well it hits.

OK! I work with small children; they too use wrong words all day long.
Obviously the pattern is not restricted to single numbers. There is nothing like stating the obvious! Streets does not require too many chips! And I fiind it amusing to write this again: ;D 0 ;D 0 ;D

If you are alert, you may have detected an error in the example. I bet that street 13-15 comes. Not 10-12.

Maybe it is not chess after all! Chess might be too dangerous! It requires too much concentration; and you may devolop paranoia >:D . It is a game of fight or flight, you know!
Apart from that: I know A COMPULSIVE GAMBLER who is now playing chess instead of losing money.

Street / Street pattern: X0X0X
June 02, 2013, 07:04:23 AM
My X0X0X system  on single numbers is a silly system with no basis in logic, math or reason. At least according to TwoCatSam. Nevertheless it has worked for him so far. Now let us try working on streets!  X0X0X  here means that at least three streets have come And as you might have guessed: "0" means that a street has not come. I am simply chasing the X0X0X pattern.  When it comes, I win (flat bet) on a street. An easy examples:  1-3 and 7-9 came.
As long as 4-6 and 10-12 are missing, I bet that 10-12 comes.
With missing parts (streets) as part of the pattern I do not bet too many parts. And I do not have to stop after one hit or develop strange rules in fear of a few missing numbers. As a matter of fact I have extended the system:

12 columns (one for each street in area 1-36).  When a number comes, I write it in the right column. The pattern may come in the first line. And/or among repeaters.  The second line or the seventh line? It does not matter. The pattern repeats! Good luck!

Hi Walter
I have noticed that you seem to be using the streets in order to find some single numbers to bet.  Such systems should be in the STRAIGHT UP section, I think.

Street / STREETS WITHOUT NOTES AND PROGRESSION
May 31, 2013, 03:45:29 PM
Flat betting streets in area 1-36.  I start betting on a street when it has come with its highest number (in the third column). If you prefer,  feel free to choose another criterium.   Typically the number of streets with chips is slowly growing.
I stop after exactly two hits in a row.  Good luck!

Dane, in his example, you remove the chips from the corners 13-17 and 14-18, after a hit in 2, 3 or 4 corners?
PS: It's a simple strategy, but quite effective ... I did some tests, and the results were very good. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, in this example we remove chips as described. You have been luckly. Congratulations!
In the mean time I have tried a slightly different version with good results:
After winning on one or two corners: I remove from only ONE corner (the highest of the ones I just occupied).
After winning on three or four corners at the same time:  I similarly remove from THREE corners.

General Discussion / CHESS??????
May 31, 2013, 08:30:25 AM
Thanks for the new red and black squares at the top!  Almost like a chess board!   Do you know how chess was introduced according to an old legend? A wise man came with the game to a king asking for a "small" donation: One grain of rice for the  first  square. Two grains of rice for the second square. Four grains for the third square. And so forth. Before long all the rice is in world would have been spent in this way!
This may also explain "Martingale"!!

Corner/Quad / Re: FLAT BETTING WITHOUT NOTES

Maybe even I should read back my post? We start on corner 1-5.
A loss means that we add one corner to our betting.  One more loss: One more group. And so forth. Within area 1-18. So - after a series of losses - we are betting these groups: 1-5 & 2-6 & 4-8 & 5-9 & 7-11 & 8-12 & 10-14 & 11-15 & 13-18 & 14-18.
More losses: I simply rebet. And I am perfectly aware that 1-18 can skive  from the electronic reader board for a long time.
I also rebet (without progression) each time I am winning on just one corner.
If I am winning on TWO, THREE OR FOUR groups at the same time, I remove from EXACTLY TWO groups. I leave the highest of the ones I just occupied. In this case: 13-17 & 14-18.
                                                                           Good luck!

To warrior: I simply rebet! No expansion beyond area 1-18.
To ignatus: Thanks! Your word of art reminds of something from the Danish poet Piet Hein: THERE IS ONE ART NO MORE NO LESS

It is understandable if you find it hard to believe, that such a simple strategy could work.  We might have been fooled into thinking that good strategies must be complicated. And here I come with almost no notes and no progression in a section with almost no topics on corner or carrĂ©.  Expanding betting after losses (within 1-18) and reducing betting after winning on two, three or four corners at the same time.
After approx. eight hours  (rouletteRUs.com)  I have won 640 virtual units there by the European roulette with this strategy.

Corner/Quad / FLAT BETTING WITHOUT NOTES
May 23, 2013, 04:27:24 PM
It is amazing to see the few topics on corner/quad/square/corner here! So I decided to add one. With flat betting. It should not be too complicated. We might even be able to master it without notes.
Start on 1-5. After a loss: Add the next higher corner. In this case: 2-6. After one more loss: Add 4-8 to your betting.  And so forth. But stay within area 1-18 (if you prefer, feel free to choose 19-36  instead).
If you win on only ONE corner: Simply rebet without making any change.
If you win on TWO, THREE OR FOUR corners: Remove from the TWO highest groups you just bet. No more no less.
I  just tried this simple strategy visiting rouletteRUs.com. Within a few hours I had  won 200 units.
Good luck!

You've been on a sustained downward trend for a while now Dane, I think your high point was at about session 350 or so.

On the up side it's still in profit. I'm hoping you will start an upward trend soom. These things always go in cycles.

Trebor
True, Trebor! And life itself goes in cycles! Have you ever heard of CYCLIC PSYCHOSIS?  There is a time for everything. 732 units after just 500 hits. To me it seems like a good time to leave. Thanks to all sane and balanced participants  taking their time to read and think.
