What betselections would you take for your "siege" money management?

Lets take 1-54 or 1-72 for example? How do you choose on what you will bet during these steps?

Many many spins :)

Well there is a formula with which you can calculate longest losing sequence for anything in the game if you know z-score.

As we know highest z-score for standard EC-s is about 5 or slightly over so it isn't hard to calculate how bad losing sequence it can get.

Say,
I am betting on Red only and targeting two consecutive wins on that. What is the longest stretch of no such hits on any EC, this way?

81 spin

So it doesn't matter how long this pattern continues because I won't LOSE (I won't win much either, but as I said, I'm not bothered about that). In that sequence, the losing runs are short between wins. Occasionally I win for quite long periods flat betting, but I never "chase" wins using positive progressions. If I'm on a winning streak, I'll ride it as long as it continues and break off after one or two losses (depending on how much profit I made).

Well I would definitely like to see in which way you are betting amounts and how much, same what Rouletta asked, but  I have a feeling maybe you will keep that for yourself.

You have actually never talked on forums much about your MM and progression, except in quite general terms.

I find very interesting what you have said that you still wouldn't lose in no matter how much that pattern continues... So you can actually "hover" around breaking even with some % of wins all the time, and not getting into deep holes or increasing stakes drastically at the same time... As you said your progression is mild.

That sounds like a true art of MM...

My opinion is that this is much more worth to figure out then argue about RTM...

I do need to use a progression (albeit not an aggressive one), and the problem with progressions, as we all know, is that they can win very often but when you hit the run from hell they can wipe out all your winnings and then some. So I let the wins take care of themselves; my business is to cut down the length (not so much the frequency, which doesn't affect my profits, only the time it takes to get them) of the losing runs.

Can you please elaborate concerning your progression how and why frequency of hits is less important then length of streak and how do you mean you let wins take care for themselves?

divide into catogories or different bets, and slowly go up in money won with no stress.  I have losing days but that has no effect on the final tally.

Playing both sides independently doubles the fun :)

Well there was somewhere code of that system in RX.. I should have it somewhere I think...

It sinks like a rock (with assumption that is coded correctly by the rules)

What is the problem? Why would this be better than anything else?

All players should see the same trigger, IMO.  (There, Drazen.)

But I see the same trigger(S) every time, Sam. What I don't see the same is how much and how long I bet on situations after that. And that isn't the same.

I can't agree on deviations as I am almost convinced that in sports betting they can't be like in roulette... For horses or dogs I dint have a clue..

As I have never seen that one even lousy sports tipster misses 10-15 picks of about 1.90-2.00 odds in a row.. Actually far from that. I consider myself half amateur in this and even I was long distant from that and I played and earned nice sum of units by now..

And I was just yesterday playing with Bayses tool and run onto 30 of an EC in a row! My personal record  :o Incredible.

For me it works just fine.

I do increase, but at certain points I stop and use higher chip to make up the losses.

I would like to keep that points for myself, but that actually depends on the bet slection of each to discover.

Practice, practice, practice  ;)

Other question that I had was, have you ever considered a percentage increase instead of a fixed 1 unit increase and decrease. For example, after a losing bet we increase 25% of the unit size. So, if am playing 1$ units, if I lose my next bet would be 1.25$, I  lose this, my next bet is 1.6$ and so on.

This is the way to go

Short demonstration in the attach shows power of this.

When I represented this some time ago to our dear GreatGrampa, he gave very interesting answer.

"Great Drazen. Yes, % based increments is the way to go. During my days at Cammegh, after testing over millions and millions of spins we figured out that 25% is the optimum number that will provide you wins on a consistent basis in ECs. That number goes down to 12% for dozens and columns. But playing 25% will require you to keep 20 times the lowest unit instead of 10 times as you are doing now. So even 20% is alright... "

Ok thanks.

I often used it when I wanted to say "in meaning of".. but you don't use it for that obviously... In my opinion will be for the future.

Thanks guys

I would like to ask especially native english speakers to tell me correct using of abbreviation IMO.

Somewhere I read it means "in meaning of" and somewhere "in my opinion"

So which is actually (more) correct?

BTW why is the word "abbreviation" so long? [smiley]aes/dont_know.png[/smiley]  :))
