This is what new gamblers want to see from the experts here. Actual examples speak louder than words.


When I take this software out of practice mode, and put it into AI mode, it even tells the viewer if sleepers or singles were used for the bet selection.

Like I said, I figured out what was distracting me. Seeing a global effect occurring in any selected group, it could be your favorite group, my group, or anyone's group, seeing it occur is the point. Seeing swarms of four step sleepers or singles is what's important. If you can find any consistent type of characteristic then you can take money off the casino as long as your discovery holds true and appears to continue.


All I did was take my mind off of this very simple principle. Many here would probably like to know why I let this happen. It all started with a huge four day win streak. From there I would always watch for it to be occurring again. It's like having a second chart that is not written down. It takes a lot of concentration to fill in the original chart and to also keep an unwritten chart in my head too. From that would come my bet selections. What made it difficult is that the unwritten chart would have win streaks too. That's why I admitted to difficulties concentrating and keeping my focus.


It does not matter that one group might mean more to someone than another group that doesn't. It doesn't matter that there are 38 slots on an American wheel. The mechanism that distributes the global effect or the perfect pattern is irrelevant. What is relevant is that a discernible weakness has presented itself as an opportunity to exploit the game.


I now know where these distractions were coming from. The game should be mine to exploit. We will soon see.

I figured it out. My practice software is different than my charts that I fill out at the casino on index cards while I play. The first thing I write down is the spin number result. It allows me to look down the numbers to see the off topic distractions. That list of spins is not the same in my charting / practice program. The spin result numbers are hidden well in the telemetry and are not as easy to see. I wasn't looking at the dozens sections but being distracted by the list of numbers in my hand written charts. I was just about to quit. I've been charting my real play like this for the past three years.


So next time I go to the casino I will not write down the actual spin numbers. I won't be able to be distracted. It's really that simple. It will only be possible to see the dozens in the chart. That should take care of the focus problem. I almost always win in practice at home. This is done by playing miniature wars to get to three flat bet wins.


Seven times a net 3 equals 21. (21 x 12) units equals 252 units. That's good enough for a day of play. Some times I get to three wins in three spins. Typically I get there in 10 to 15 spins. It's just a matter of catching the streaks.  I was all but quit. Now my practice and real play will be very similar without the same old distractions.

It's very simple. A few days ago I didn't know why I couldn't lay off those pet numbers. To me they were like a Kryptonite to Superman. I thought they were 12 numbers with a few extra thrown in for good measure. It's not the loss this time that matters. It's the fact that I was dealing with 18 numbers the wrong way and didn't know they were taking me off of where I should have been focusing.


I know that looking at them doing anything is the mistake. They don't exist for me anymore. It's that simple. It's just a simple rule to follow. When I go for it next time I will not have to deal with the nemesis that had interrupted me for the past two years.

For the past 30 months I've been haunted by the same 18 numbers.


I went on a monster tear on day one, 30 months ago. I took $40 and turned it into $1,400 in just three days. I haven't been able to break free of those numbers since.


Here they are:


00, 11, 22, and 33  = the doubles, for double digit numbers.


(12 & 21), (23 & 32), and (13 & 31) = the inverted numbers.


0, 00, 10, 20, 30, & 5, 15, 25,and 35 = the 0's and the 5's.


You will notice that "00" is there twice so that makes 18 total numbers.


So what I would do is fall into a fake illusion that I was guessing correctly on which of those numbers should be bet heavy and which other numbers should be bet light, kind of like insurance. If I thought that the double digits where sure to hit I would put a heavy bet on all four of them and a mid sized bet on the inverted numbers while a lite bet on the O's & 5's.


Just like all systems, these numbers would have three stages of effectiveness. What I never saw in all this time was that they added up to 18 numbers. Just like all groupings at 18 numbers, the red or the black for instance, the comings and goings of these 18 numbers always sucked me in when they began to streak. It had the power over me to lead me away from my normal charting game. By doing that, I failed to follow my own advice. For me, this idea of guessing which small group among the 18 numbers was going to be  the next winner. And this is the slippery slope in all this. There were times that I had winning streaks on just those selected hottest, largest bets placed on the smaller groups within those same 18 numbers. It was a very huge and rapid increase. But the down side is that some times it looked like the 18 were hot but that they were just medium, and at the same time, I was not hitting the big bets but just the medium and insurance bets. That had the tendency to just grind me down. It did not take very long to draw down the successes of the previous day doing that.


So I know for me, that those 18 numbers should not be treated any different than a red, black, odd, even, high, or low number where the way to bet them is to bet flat. The key to my method is to bet flat and get more wins than losses at the balance points.


I know why I have struggled for the past 30 months. That does not mean that watching the effectiveness states does not work. It just means that I have been unable to keep my concentration on the prize. That's done now.


It is no longer a case that I can't do this, gamble following my own advice. I just have to put a hedge around those 18 numbers and ignore them, even if they heat up. The only consideration for them is to flat bet them just like any 50/50 bet. No more trying to guess the hot group withing the group of 18. It's no longer a mystery why the intuition only works as a streak in very few instances.  I can't be taken out by this anymore.


If I do gamble any more, it will be with a fuller understanding that these 18 numbers will always be a trap for me to fall into.


Now, I guess as a hypocrite, I should stop posting. I've said it all anyway. There is nothing new to add other than the recent stuff on how singles in dozens come and go typically. It's all about the typical results of the law of thirds and statistical averages. There are certain things that you can count on randomness to do. I might point this out to my students. It makes grinding out wins while flat betting easier.

So, a few weeks ago I had discovered a system that beats Roulette, or at least I thought I had. I wrote a sim that proved I was right. It worked in testing but did not work in the casino. I blew more of the mystery member's money. He is rightfully mad at me. I don't blame him one bit. I put one line of code in the wrong place and it had just enough effect as to make me believe that it should have worked. It was a painful process to blindly follow the system to its eventual doom without knowing why it was not working. Three continuous losing sessions proved that much.


It showed me something though. The chimp is nonexistent if you follow a strict rigid system.  You maintain your focus if you just follow simple rules. You just tell yourself that it works and you will be ahead. There is no changes because there is no obfuscation of thinking.


So I'm about to quit gambling altogether if I fail in my last try. That means I will make some of you very happy in that I will quit posting on gambling forums too.  I will stay in my objective mind, using my charting system and reading randomness, or I will lose my concentration and get waylaid by my lack of focus. Just like the two examples in this thread, posted above, I'm putting it on the line.


I've found some rule based methods for detecting sequences of opportunity that I plan to use. I have not shared these with anyone, not even at my closed school. These rules have the effect of creating self control and focus.


Now you know the reason for this thread.

A person that does not have NPD hears that a certain item of interest in a discussion with others is disputed with a plausible argument filled with a compelling argument. Here is a healthy way to look at effectiveness if you want to survive. If you are in a perfect phase of effectiveness, a loss is a signal to get out. If you are in an 80% perfect pattern a loss is only a sign that the pattern is either changing or just being 80%. You must learn how to live with your losses. It's at the heart of everything I'm attempting to teach people. If your life depended on this you would certainly listen. You must become experienced in dealing with changes. It's the only topic worth discussing. I've tried to suggest the ability to remain agile. It's this topic of change that is where being agile is valuable.

Some sites give you five to ten minutes to fix an oops.

You and me came up with it. They think we like seeing their ads. It's like the difference between AMC movies and Turner Classic movies. AMC was ad free at the beginning. Now they suck you in with 20 minutes before the first ad, then 15 minutes, then 10 minutes. By the end of the movie the ads are about 5 to 6 minutes for 4 to 5 minutes of movie. It's the bean counters.


It's the same with the Russians hacked the election. The people that consume the main stream media actually think that the Russians made John Podesta say terrible things about her before the election. It's amazing what people will just accept as normal. Commercials bring us all together in a harmonic buying cultural experience. The internet needs to change.

Like I have said before. You just acted like a classic NPD reaction to disagreement. It's your personality disorder that makes you jump to the conclusion that a personal attack on your fake reality just happened. Only you can fix that. I don't need to run and hide at my school. I disagree with your Author. That means that you are probably defective in your strange world, in your way of dealing with perceptions.
