Randomness has no rules to produce a certain quanitity of numbers in a particular span. These are merely hypotheses. Every session is different from all other sessions, so far, so if u see something unseen, do not consider it was meant because you were catching an 8 train, specially when u r playing on a live dealer.

Math & Statistics / Re: Why Hit & Run is absurd
December 22, 2012, 07:15:13 PMQuote from: JohnLegend on December 22, 2012, 04:29:52 PMYeah. So far, I can see on various forums. Not even a single method posted so far on any forums hold any good.
Same fate KR?

Math & Statistics / Re: Why Hit & Run is absurd

I personally feel that Bayes scientific explanations regarding Hit and Run is basically perfect but if the way PB is being played is wrong, what is the right way?
Isn't every method basically merely a Hit and Run? We enter casinos at random times, start playing at random tables and with random sessions. Does this save us from getting bad runs even if we play random methods as well. There is always a fight with random versus random, whatever you play.
Every method has same fate. Can anybody disprove this?

Ralph's Bot / Some suggestions regarding Ralph's bot
December 21, 2012, 09:02:06 AM
1. Write a brief introduction to all methods in it. I can see 20 methods now. Most can be understood by the name itself but if someone can write about all the methods in a separate topic and update that with latest inserted methods, it would be of great help.
2. Bot has one big error that can kill. At times, I have seen it starts clicking prior to a number gets generated. This way, it misses some bets and those missed bets can harm the entire session at bad moments.
3. The winning numbers that get noted in the bot below the bv screen still giving double and triple repetition of numbers. You will see:
7,7,7 while only one 7 has won.
Apart from these shortcomings, the bot is one of the finest contributions of this forum. I can't thank Ralph enough for this.

It may be one's hit and run method but can not be played in continuity.

Ran another 1000 spins. 109 wins to 3 losses +4
Maybe it won't be worthwhile in long run, too slow and impractical

Straight-up / Re: Play just one number
December 17, 2012, 05:58:26 AMQuote from: Ralph on December 17, 2012, 05:36:07 AMEverything is proportional : your risk, your rewards, your ultimate profit/loss and time to get there.
Yes, but Oscars grind on an EC I think is more risky. If the variance goes against the stakes goes out of control. A straight up has more fluctations, but with hundreds of bets and most important a higher pay out makes it to recover with just a few lucky hits. We have to look at the different gaps between the hits, if they becomes narrow for a short time we can be back on track. The progression on one straight up, is it a negative or positive? We add on win, but only if we need to catch up.

This progression is nothing else but Oscar Grind and like every other progression it has its own set of limitations. It can't win till wins come close.

General Discussion / Re: Is Airball Roulette Rigged?

How can it decide "in the end"? How will it know I am going to quit now? Do you mean to say that it averages out winnings for all the players?

U mean to say, it can see our bets and produce the adverse.

General Discussion / Re: Is variance really a killer?
December 15, 2012, 04:21:00 AM
Variance is the biggest killer, even more responsible for losses at last than house edge. If there is no variance in a session, nobody will lose. Variance strikes those with flat bet and those using progression alike and momentarily can defeat anything.
