Triggers are important. The key IMO is A) they are verified based on the Laws of Probability and or other verification, and B) The player recognizes that most triggers will not hold true for any single event for the entire shoe. Due in part to the limiting nature of a shoe(i.e., Dealt cards are not replaced), and the constant shifting of the (4,5, or 6 cards) per hand.
This almost assures us that any one single event(or side:P or B) will not get the best of it for the full shoe.
