My opinion, it is not worth understanding randomness in this game but time is better suited to discovering some bet selection(s) with a low enough variance to allow the safe use of progressions.
Talking of low variances I often hear differing opinions about a particular kind of bet selection. This is the "when" part of the bet selection. One technique in the "when" part is counting for virtual losses and then start betting. Do you think that will lower the variance?
One arm of this forum seems to advocate this kind of selection. For example, the post from BW recently named "Whiz supper" and Spin4fun's tweak on Speedy Gonzales they talk about waiting for a certain number of virtual losses before betting on it. Not only them, even some books I read advocate this kind of betting. For eg the Brett Morton book I read, it talks about waiting for atleast 6 spins (or in other words 1-5 virtual losses depending on the pattern you are observing) before betting against the wheel.

Other arm of this forum seems to think otherwise. I read Superman's signature which said, "If someone says wait for 2 virtual losses etc when defining the system, that system is stuff".

Really would like to understand views on whether such a thing is going to lower the variance. One side of me tells yes, and other side tells it is an useless effort.

Hey Turner, hows this testing going?

By the way, I find the perfect explanation of what I was trying to explain you on why lines are different from any 6 numbers and why you are seeing  max spins for lines sleeping is less than max spins for 6 numbers sleeping.

Try answering the following :
How many times have you seen 18 numbers sleeping for 15 spins. Perhaps every time you play.
How many times have you seen Red sleeping for 15 spins. Not as frequent.
Why? Both are a set of 18 numbers. There lies the answer

In case anyone is interested, this is the one I was using for generating 2 random quads in the video.

Hey Sputnik

Very difficult to understand. But I think I am slowly getting a hang of it. I tried using a combination of Brett Morton's positive progression and JP's up and pull method and it is working like a charm. The session went like this.

BBBBRRRBRRBRRRRRRBRRBRBR
It was confusing until I started rewriting my tracking like below.
- - . - . - . - . . . .

A line represents a series and a dot represents a single. I could also write it as MMSMSMSMSSSS where M is multiple (series) and S is single.

What I did next was do exactly as you said.
M
M
S - Bet was it will be a series. Lost
M
S - Bet was it will be a single. Won
M - Bet was it will be a series. Won
S - Bet was it will be a single. Won
M - Bet it will be a series. Won
S - Bet it will be a single. Won
S - Bet it will be a series. Lost
S
S - Bet it will be a single. Won.

This is just a sample. So far I have tested close to 40 live spin sessions from Wiesbaden. Holding up nicely :) Thanks!

Hey Peter. Nice work there. Is the tweak that you are talking about which is betting after two unique quads or is it a totally different one?

That kid had on a shirt that said "Tulsa" as in Tulsa, Oklahoma--about 90 miles from me.  Safe to say that boy is a redneck.
Salute your attention to details Sam. This is just an example. I really envy how you grasp and try understanding word by word  a post that interest you and tear it apart to minute details. I wish had such attention to detail. Salute you.

Thanks Sam! Wonderful video as always. I always wait for a new production from you.

And this one for your new signature.

Dozen/Column / Re: The Wizard's Supper

I have used a double dozen negative progression of 1,3,9 here. I have started using postive progression now which is working well.

Thanks for sharing BW. I was just wondering how to capitalize on the idea that you posted and how to make it a bit more faster. After some permutations and combinations it resulted in the following. Still working on milking more from this idea, but at the moment this is where I stand.

1. Instead of waiting for two consecutive lots of repeating dozens, I just wait for one failure on a LD bet. LD bet as explained by Sam and in the LW tracker published recently by Vic is you bet for last two dozens to repeat. Now I track until I get a failure. After the failure, just like you do, I bet once, only once for a win on LD bet. If it wins, I wait for the next opportunity. If it loses, I wait for the next LD win before tracking again and looking for next opportunity.

2. You can use your favourite double dozen progressions as and when a betting opportunity arises. This makes the game a bit faster.
Following is the result of playing this on the 100 spins BW has posted. Let me know whether it is worth pursuing any further.

[reveal]
Good win ratio in the spins you posted and +15u at the end of 100 spins and 20 betting opportunities.

"Isn't every other forum is merely bunch of frustrated gamblers"?
Hmm! Interesting thought process there. I personally know a few on this forum in my short association and I don't think they are a frustrated bunch. But I don't think I am experienced and know the intricacies of this, so I will leave this for others who have been associated long here to ponder upon.

See the fate of "my open challenge", people are reluctant to take challenges and they rather deny that they can face tough sessions.
Sumit, I did go through your open challenge thread. In fact, I had to, because it was running over pages. I don't think people denied taking challenges. I could see there were many attempts to crack it. This reminds me of an important rule behind "brainstorming". While you are in a brainstorming session, it is a crime to make judgements. I understand it's a challenge. But I also understand that a very renowned researcher like you would post it as a challenge because it is a tough and really tough one to crack. I can see that people tried taking up the challenge one after other and failed. And it died out of interest because the topic got too judgemental rather than a joint brainstorming session to crack it. Well, that is at least my opinion. I for one would love more such challenges!

but nobody is coming forward to help, whenever I needed, you being not an exception
Did I ever rejected helping anyone? Let me know if you came across such an instance and I shall correct myself. God made man to make mistakes. I believe in not being perfect, but in learning from my mistakes.

I know that if I start to talk of real issues, people will turn their faces from them
Sumit, may be again am new here. But I have seen good discussions on a number of topics that you have started. Law of large numbers is the most recent one that I have read through. Good discussion and you closed the debate successfully as well. Ofc, every post might not be read with the same interest as that is the way of life. But people turning away faces from them is a very harsh comment. I have read a lot of important posts and issues here and I learn from those discussions.

Finally, I think you chose not to answer my question directly, which is perfectly fine. But thanks for the response and I look forward to read more from you.

This is my 25th win of no deposit bonuses. Most of them have been documented in rouletteforum.cc, a few in my blog in some other forums and here too. I always try to do things which masses consider impossible like winning so many No deposit bonuses or beating more than 10 million spins.
Sumit,

As I was reading through the documented post in rouletteforum.cc a question came upto my mind.

I have very high respect for you so please don't take my question in the negative sense.  What is your intention behind posting this information?

1.  Sharing the happy news with fellow community friends - ofc, as a member of the mass as you put it, am very happy that someone is able to beat 10mn spins consistently and am amazed that you have got so many bonuses. Very happy and will be happy to see more posts.

2. Passing on the hope and lesson to the community that one can consistently overcome house edge even in slots which is documented to swallow. - well, that brings hopes and anything like that will renergize the day and bring in happy perspectives. Look forward for more such news.

3. Sharing your experience and make us learn from it - if this was the intention, then I think we need more details on how you do it so that we can learn from it. Something likr the videos that you posted sometime back. I learnt from it and I would love to hear more.

4. Boasting that I can do what you masses can't do and am a superior person that you all here - well not very constructive and I can only speak for myself, the best I can do is consider those posts as wastage of server memory and move on.

Ofcourse you don't have to answer it, but am assuming its either 1 or 2 and indeed very happy for you and you bring hopes with every such post.

Love
Yanks
