What is the purpose? Nothing to learn here then, only entertainment. Entertainment it is.

Who here can turn 500 units into 4000 units in 8 hours or less of playing roulette?; that would be entertaining, of course playing for fun only.

TC

I have done better than that, the odds are small, but it was done in minutes.  You do not need a brain to do it, just some surplus money, and luck.  Go for a parlay.  Nowdays I aim for smaller gain.

Community Software / Re: Your operative system

I use to not upgrade until I need it, It is always problems in the first releases!  It is often today new versions which should be called beta not point  +1. The users find the bugs.

Today it looks like I change my versions of OS, when I need a new computer, a laptop have short life time, burn itself appart in a few years, a spare parts are lacking and work to replace cost as a computer.  I payed 420 USD for the last and it is including 25%  VAT we have here.

Sure there is, just not here on a public forum. Here we
discuss theory, in the casino we put it to the test.

The recipe for Coca Cola is a deep dark secret, locked
in a vault somewhere. They never discuss it. Yet evidence
that it works is everywhere. Would you fault them for
never revealing their secrets? I doubt it.

My evidence manifests itself every time I play. How else?

Some are victims of urban myths. Coke is not a secret, it should not be allowed to be sold without a declaration. Anybody can copy the stuff easy, but they can not compete with the trade mark.  All trying to copy Coke may make the same product, but will not be able to make any good business. The asset of Coca Cola Company is 98% the trade mark.

Sam!

I have still the same problem, have tested using new compiled software, testing backups. It is no doubt the program as such has not changed, and was working just a day before.  It is not easy to know what it is. Is it an update of flash, an update of Windows or an update at the casino. I do not know and it is not any reason I can find why this happen.

The flash is not responding for click event proper, even if I in the code delay the operation. I am busy with other things, so I have not any possible time to sit down an try to fix the problem before Monday.

Well testing systems is a waste of time if you think they will win in the long run ...
All you need to do is one educated guess based upon what is current and present in front of you ...
That is a kind of methodology, but i don't know what some one would name it ...

I use to test, during play, and do not get any news from longer simulations. Still I use some classic methods.
We win when the ball fall on our bets however we chose them.

I have downloaded the bot listed in the above post three times.  I have carefully set it up so I know I'm right.  It will not place bets.  It places the 0 bet and then will not highlight the penny chip and place it.  You get the message about no more free spins.

I open the bot, click demo, put in 50 to play on, set the win for 55.00 and put .01 in the box.  I click 4hot and set the bet for .01.  Start puts a penny one zero.  I tick the box to the right of start and it will not place bets.

Sam

I just tried the bot, and got the same problem. The bot I was using yesterday and it was working. I do not think the bot is changing by it self.

My  Window updates are busy and the program then runs very slow. I will check it again tomorrow, it is midnight now here.

Gentlemen

I know two things.  I don't suspect, I don't have a theory--I know!

1.  There will be a time when the BV RNG produces numbers that cause the L v F to win.
2   There will be a time when the BV RNG produces numbers that cause the L v F to lose.

If I wanted to take the time, I could graph this.

For a time, I am going to seek a logical way to determine if the trot I'm seeing is #1 or #2.  And, no, you can't look at the first 100 spins and tell from there.  Ralph and others will tell you there are wild swings.

More if I learn anything worth reporting.

Sam

An early RFH-varning would be nice! Sometimes it get to me.   I have even checked the numbers which is to come, and it is sometimes just right. If we can  avoid just some it helps a lot.

I know we are able to see more than there is, but still it is better to stop even if you guess is not accurate, than try to predict the opposite. A good method stand most of the outcome, but some are fatal.

Even chance / A try with mixed progressions
March 09, 2013, 08:34:07 PM
I found this on a German website.

A combination of negative and positive progression on one EC.
Using 0.05 on BVNZ. We try it when we expect the wheel to produce series.

We try a longer parlay. 1,2,4,8,16. If we succeed we got 15 units plus or one lost.

If we lose the parlay we try again using 2,4,8,16. If we win we get 13 plus and start over.

On a loss we try using 4,8,16. If we win we got plus of 9 units and start all over.

We try the last time betting 8 units, and if we win we are 1 units plus.

A total loss is 15 units.

We could start with 15 on an EC got on NZ  50% chance of reaching the  win target. Something to
consider??

Here we have several trials, which is better??

I got luck and passed all parlay a few times, betting 15  once and use the series betting the method opposite may be
a option?

I won but I am not sure the method has more value compare to bet more at the first bet, and decrease the bets next time.

Double-street / Re: Walk down the double streets
March 09, 2013, 07:39:49 PM
Did once more, I stopped before the table was empty, on a plus of  1516 units. I did some betting misstakes, so the outcome may not in full be as it would be without the misstakes. I may have removed or added 0.1 chips instead of 0.01.

375 spins.

I will add that to this kind of playing lines.  A post I did on an other forum.

We will need a very large bankroll. and be ready for many hours of play using this method.

It has last year won quite a lot, but is as always not foolproof.

We use fun the first time, if we not fully understand how the method works, and the possibility and risks with it.

0.01 is the best chip value, and we would risk 10000 units or may be 20000 units. That's for the not smooth cases, it may work with less.

We put a chip on the line belonging to the last spun number.

We spin, and if hit we spin the same bet.
If no hit add a chip to the bet, and put one
chip on the last spun line.

We add a chip on all missing, until we cover 5 lines.
We can use fewer if we want.

On every miss add a chip to all missing bets.

If we hit a line we remove six chip  or until
just one is left.

If any pile get 12 chips (We can use 18 as well, but longer play larger bankroll), we note it as to be phased out.

We play until the table is empty.

We use small stakes as 0.01, but if it works out
well we will have Euros in plus.

We can be on plus and still have chips on the table,
and stop if we want.

I have had a line missing 90 spins.

Sometimes a session can be short as the session I
just did, only 75 spins and plus 219.

It can last more than 1000 as well.

When ever you play, you use a kind of guessing, via a method or any other way. The simple truth is you win if you pick the fallen number.

It is some bearing in changing methods, if you play and have to use every spin (in some casinos you have to) and you bet for series, it may not be successfull to expect the same pattern forever. We can as usual never be sure if the change will help or not.

The tendency a method will fail, can make us exaggerating the use of HAR and changing methods.

I have done trials, stopping play on plus, still play with zero or low stake, just to see if the bad streak comes, and the compare it to the next days play. There is not in my trails any sign of the break helps very much. I may do due to I am tired   and more exposed to misstakes or risks taking as time goes.

I will never be a professional player. I play nearly full time some periods, but not for the living. As retired I get my monthly pay, and I run a small business part time. If you mean you can make a living on roulette, I think your life will have some problems. I have meet some of those pro, and they use to be very short in the their career.

I have meet two (both German and some decades ago) which have been living for long time on casino games, some 20 years, but they earned less than any do in the lowest paid work you can find.

If you stand amateur, you can still win decent. Amateur meant from beginning not any without ability, the amateur had the ability to do what he did due to the was already wealthy, and got time to improve all the time. The professional was those who  had to make a living of it. In modern time this changes so pro means you are better on something, and amateur means you are not. It is in the early meaning the opposite. Charles Darwin, Newton are two amateurs.

The "Rentner" you may find in Europe at casinos are happy with 30 Euros a day, they really work hard for theire money.

The bankroll size can make you stay longer, but may be not cheaper.

Some lucky can win very much (in a short burst), and think it can continue, my advice is if you hit it, play less rather than more.

Gambling Philosophy / Re: NOZ and variance
March 09, 2013, 12:08:11 PM
Despite it is a low variation bet, betting three EC, it can on some cases show extreme variance.  This last session I used 0.1 chips, and was running into a losing streak, which needed  2400 units to defend. This time it came back and on a winning streak I parlay twice a few times.

I have ended the play and the picture shows the total from beginning, the sessions using 0.05 and the session using 0.1.

1210 spins total, the units were mixed so I do not know exactly the units. It is  253.45 Euro.

This session went a bit longer, I got  7 total loss in a row. The slow progression and the parlay make it not go down terrible. I got later some double hits on all three.

266 spins and  246 units plus.   that's 37.7 Euro in about 700 spins. 754 units of 0.05.

It will not be easy to code without simple down some to mechanical rules. The decision to parlay close to break even or small plus after a drawdown on higher bets, or similar decisions, which is for at least me better to do in the situation.
