As far as I know it's for programmers to 'offer' their services, I suppose another use could be for someone wanting something coded to post the basic outline and see if any coder is interested.

Personally I don't bother to offer my services as I get enough through PM's alone, and find MOST people I deal with do not want the forum to know their method details etc

Hey Vic, I invited AMK and Juiced from the old forum BUT you cannot type the URL in PM's or on a thread, they have monitored the address and replaced it with bets.cc, so at one point I even typed it into a thread and they/Steve/Mods deleted it, they don't want anyone running over here from there me thinks

Hi Ralph, I trust you are keeping track of your progression too, what's the highest bet placed so far as doing it this way can and will have large drawdowns when the bet gets into double figures.

Yup been there too, coded ran tests reported results got shot down, not saying JL is full of it BUT in the land of the blind the one eyed monster is king, not so, the thing with most gamblers is they really want to believe, they enjoy reading positive posts, they actually think it is either their bad luck or the way they are playing that is wrong, not that the thread creator can't be right.

The way I do it is 2 fold, 1st check is the hard drive number of the users machine, I get this via a setup script then hard code it into the bot, I also create a MySql user account on my server and tell the bot to check they exist, if they don't, it won't run.

As I thought BUT how do you expect to put the system in it? you could easily have a couple of straight forward systems pre programmed but think for yourself, there's some failry complex methods on these boards they would need coding into the software for the user to use, I probably have well over 1000 different methods on my pc which I have coded over the years, I have often looked at "trying" to combine the different functions, many of which can and do get reused but having a point and click type setup is a lot of work, trying to cover every eventuallity for tracking in itself is a mamoth task, imagine the first few questions the software must ask you.
