It's indeed very important to know the mathematical and statistical foundations of gambling to know where we're standing.

Dear jarabo, right now I'm embarking in desiging a beginner and hobbyist programming language from scratch, it might look otherwise but it isn't a trivial task, therefore I only have intent to maintain this and the programming language for the long run. There are no plans for further forums since time is limited and the "to do schedule" is ample!

Estimado Jarabo, estoy embarcándome en diseñar un lenguage de programación, así que sólo mantendré éste sito y el del nuevo lenguaje de programación ya que el tiempo es limitado y la carga es amplia!

Saludos.

Two old men were talking about going to the bathroom.  The first had a terrible time.  Slow stream and constipation.  The second allowed as how he could pee like did when he was twenty and his bowels and bladder both worked a 7:30 each morning.

"Wow!  That must be wonderful!"
"Not really.  I sleep 'till nine!"

:)) ^-^

Good one.

That's great to hear, Vic!

Indeed, and with the full of wifey's blessing!!

I'm thrilled to make my plans of making my life helping others a reality. I'm already scheduled to spend the first 6 months of 2013 making a new programming language for hobbyists and I'm more than happy to be the maintainer of our community here.

This is very good for me too: I love both roulette and programming, for a lifetime.

Thanks john.

See, as I work for the local industry in projects that are both dull and nonproductive for anyone other than the person who hires, I thought it would be better for me make my living helping others at large.

Hello dear friends, just wanted to say there are no plans for selling.

The prospect of a steady monthly help to my family definitely outgrows it by far and has wifey's blessing for the long run.

I'm aiming to make my life entirely online by the end of 2013, so it is important for me and my family to keep this a top-notch place

Talking of which, if we do want to make a donation to this site at any given time, is there a link to do it?

I'm in the process of adding a direct support button to the forum's footer. Thanks for having the motion to support!

Gambling Philosophy / Re: Bet Selection Theory
November 14, 2012, 01:20:27 AM
Another comment/question: would you say it is worth to identify timing with numerical selections opposite a lot of numbers? Example: The most sleeping double-street versus the others.

When you track and mark the hits linearly, it's inevitable to notice the close succession of hits on the event at times, for which a non-saavy player would say is going contrary to the expected probability for 30 numbers, but on which a saavy player recognizes that the game HAS A MATHEMATICAL NEED to fulfill and it balances-out the basic tendency of hitting 30 numbers by making clumps of the lesser probable event, in this case hitting the 6 numbers above than expected in a short period of spins, as a needed thing to keep balance.

Otherwise without such clumps the game would be simply as easy-to-beat as always betting with the most simple probability (5 lines, 11 streets, etc.)

So, should we be tracking those clumping times for the lesser numerical groups? Or would you say it is preferable to keep numbers balanced and focus on even chances?.

Thanks.

Surely this one must be stirred with some tracking and staking plan to keep things under control.

This approach clearly invites to having three sets of attack-modes. One per each identified condition/state.

Tacking two opposite bet selections might be a way to cope with it.

Trying to match the one with the best state at the moment, and when it goes "so so", it goes like such for the two of them hence it would matter less which one you choose.

Just brainstorming a bit on it :)
