I'll post just a few facts, then I'll step out of the way and let the big egos fight it out.

1. Absolutely nobody is going to win in the long run by using any kind of "triggers" in the random game of roulette.

2. Absolutely nobody is going to win in the long run by finding "just the right up as you lose progression" in the random game of roulette.

3. Systems based on the layout are a complete and utter waste of time.

4.  Pi is best eaten, not played.

5.  Playing sleepers on live wheels is the most efficient way that someone could lose at a rate that could actually exceed the house edge in the long run.

QuoteYou guys do not believe me yet want me to tell about my HG. Why are you so confused? Allibaba

No, please don't tell us.  Such power in our hands would simply destroy society.

The correct question is: Why should it work???

Yes, I'd dive the question above if I were you as well.  ;)

QuoteDo not treat spins as individual outcomes. Combine 3 spins, combine 4 spins and so on and so forth, you get a series. That will give you the ability to use probability theory in a better way.-Pockets

Why is that?

QuoteTreat every spin as an individual outcome you will never come out of the game's negative expectation. How do we use it here? -Pockets

Every spin is an individual outcome.  It's not possible to overcome the game's negative expectation so why combine the outcomes of a random game?

Nathan,

Do you believe that you have more experience, knowledge, and "commonsense" than the "mathboyzz" Dr. Elliot Jacobson, Dr. Edward Thorp, and Dr. Stanford Wong?

Quotewould not take any gambling advice from any of those 3 Math Boyzz  Those  cats  are lacking common sense
-Nathan Detroit.

Why do you believe that they're lacking commonsense?  All three of them are very successful and very well educated.  They are experts in their fields.  The casino's also take their advice.

Are you sure those "cats" are the ones lacking the "commonsense"?

As they say, a fool and his money are easily separated.

QuoteLet's assume they did not suck at math.  Let's assume they had a PhD in math from, where, Oklahoma University?, would they write a better book on roulette and gambling?-TwoCatSam

Do you mean like Dr. Ed Thorp?  Or Dr. Elliot Jacobsen?  Dr. Stanford Wong?  All have written some great books on gambling.

If people don't already know how to manage there money while gambling, then they shouldn't be playing.

Everything that gamblers need to know about money management can be written on just one page.  Too much time and money are wasted on the subject.
Gambler's should spend more time focusing on how to get the edge, and less time worrying and reading about money management and gambling discipline.  Money management and gambling discipline never has, and  never will affect the house edge.

Unfortunately It's all that some gambling authors have to sell because they suck at math.

QuoteBut only if the wheel is biased, which is not the norm, but the exception.-Bayes

Actually, every wheel is biased to some extent.  Rarely is it enough to overcome the house edge.

Drop zone biases are more common and do allow for some dealer influence.  This is why I said that, "Tracking the inside numbers on a live wheel is of course all together something different."

QuoteXander, playing the game may change the outcomes, but what possible practical significance can that have, if all outcomes are random?-Bayes

None.

Even if you're playing on live wheels, tracking the outside ECs is rather futile.  Tracking the inside numbers on a live wheel is of course all together something different.

@Number Six,

I like your post.

QuoteHow do you calculate this?-Twocat

We measure and calculate the "wavefunction collapse" using a new theoretical framework, called quantum decoherence.   Decoherence correctly predicts the form and probability distribution of the final eigenstates, and explains the apparent randomness of the choice of final state in terms of einselection.j  Duh!  ;)

QuoteWhat if you were watching on the internet as I do at Dublin?  Do I effect the spun number? -Twocat

No.

QuoteWhat if I'm in the casino and am fifty feet from the dealer and she does not know I'm watching?  Do I effect the game.-Twocat

No, doubt it.  But if people at the table see you, then they could be distracted by your presence. If you distract them, then they may take longer to bet.  If they take longer to bet, then the wheel will slow down more than it would have.  This means that a different number may be below the ball when it drops.  Or, the dealer may have to speed the wheel up to account for the slow bettors, again causing a different number to possibly be below the ball when it drops.

QuoteWhat if I'm trying to run my hand up her skirt?  What would the effect of that be?-Twocat

Disillusionment, bewilderment, and despair.  As you would likely be beaten, banned, then arrested, prosecuted, and jailed.  However, I think the answer that you're looking for is that the number 6 would hit.

Who's going to be in Las Vegas next week?  I left out the word "in".   I corrected the post.  Is there a dunce cap laying around somewhere that I can put on?
