And I visited another forum and all they do is implode!  The contolling dominate members move from forum to forum try to rule and control it and then all they do is implode amongst themselves and they move on to yet another Forum.  But like Victor said you get out what you put in.

Perception in the game of Baccarat

A huge, deep and important subject in relation to gambling.  Most people will overlook it, not consider it or pay very little value to this extremely important subject.

Perception Equals Projection

Things are not always as they seem.  I am referring to reality, facts and the norm.  Not just in gambling, but in most things-but for sake of simplicity, I will stick to gambling with this.  Marketers, Casinos, Casino Hosts, Gambling Junket Operators, System Inventors and Sellers and everyone trying to sell something or convince the gambler of something, rely on this very thing to make you see things the way they want you to see them.  And almost every single time, those things will not be in your favor or within the complete set of factual reality.  It will almost every time, benefit those people and their agenda rather than the player.  Of course, after all, it is just business.

You can meet someone and they can tell you everything you want to hear without any truth.  There are no rules, regulations or laws (at least in the USA) saying that an entity selling something has to advertise, disclose and divulge the real truth about what they are selling or providing with anything to do along side of gambling.  I am not talking about pharmaceutical drugs, item or food products, I am talking about gambling, systems, gambling tutors, methods, junket trips, etc., etc., and so on.  Those types of people can give off any perception they want.

Here, let me break it down for you.  The world we see is generally a reflection of who we are and what we believe.  The self-fulfilling prophecy lays at the foundation of this exact concept.  A statement that alters actions, therefore becomes truth to the person at the receiving end of it.  I have said in the past and I will repeat it once again.  Someone that thinks their night is going to play out terribly will subconsciously change their actions so that this prediction is fulfilled by their very own actions!  Often the way we perceive gambling is not reality, it is perception.  Then our perception is colored by how we want it rather than simply the way it is.

The key to proper perception in gambling, IMO, would be to include remaining completely conscious of the fact that perception does influence your wagering and desires while playing.  Take that sentence/statement I just wrote any way you would like.  But, if you look at that statement with a complete open and neutral mind frame, you will have to agree with what I just wrote.  Example, if you say all side wagers such as the 3-Card 8-9 paying 200 to 1 or the 3-Card Fortune 7 paying 40 to 1 are sucker bets and convince yourself of that very thing, you will not wager those.  Then you just happen to be sitting at a baccarat shoe where two 3-Card 8-9 hands are presented as well as 6 or 7 Fortune 7s, etc.  While your perception of those side bets convinced yourself of the casino having the upper hand and you would lose your bets, you did not wager on any of them.  Meanwhile, other players won tens of thousands of dollars with very little invested in the risk.

Again, and on the other hand, the perception of those players that won thousands and thousands of dollars with those side bets, might allow their perception to get out of control and believe that they now have the power to win and win and win and keep winning with those very same wagers.  Same thing with believing in streaks or alternating chops, etc., etc.

So, what I am trying to say is that perception drives the players behavior, desires and thoughts with most all wagering.  Sitting there at a casino and air-betting or mind-wagering or whatever you might label it, and winning wagers without actually having your chips out there, will only alter your perception and what you should actually be considering and believing.  I hope that is simple enough to understand because I really do feel that is the way it is after so many years of witnessing the good and the bad at the tables.

When the truth is blurred by misinformation and misnomers and then you believe in those very things, perception becomes reality and all is lost.  Period! What people perceive is going to be what they believe.  And that is based on what they visually see and what they hear at that instant time.  Both of those will then translate into what they will think, equaling their perception.

Is there a defense?  Is there a way around not getting sucked in?  Most all of the time you cannot control what happens at the baccarat table, but you can always control your reaction.  I am not talking about high-fiving or shouting for a monkey and getting one, I am referring to believing that you have the power to control, decipher and schedule wagers that the shoe will configure to rather than your wagering configuring to the shoe"s presentments.  Remember that.

Change the way you look at the presentments of the shoe and what it is actually doing, rather than what it should or could be doing.  Then maybe the presentments will change in your vision.  SHOULD and COULD means nothing in great baccarat play.  However, what the shoe is doing is what you need to be aligned with.  That is factual and probably the strongest trigger to get you on the positive side rather than the negative side of the game.

Falling prey to false perception, false illusion and the many fallacies of the game are all so visually pretty and mouth watering at times, but your perception will work against you each and every session for the greatest part or at least, for the most important part of it anyway.

Think what you will, but perception is a HUGE part of the game of baccarat.

I was walking by the baccarat pit last night and low and behold, Brownie gets up and tells everyone, be right back--need to use the restroom really quick.  Another player is walking down the aisle, Juneberry.  Brownie and Juneberry make eye contact and give each other that secret organization of professional gambler's acknowledgment; two quick bows of the head followed by the right eye being blinked 3 times and a tug on each of their left ears.  Brownie and Juneberry go way back, but that is a story for another time.

Brownie gets back to the baccarat table and becomes enraged.  Seems they did not wait for him and 2 Fortune 7 wins and 2 six-six tie hands all came out in the past 8 hands that Brownie was gone during.  Of course, those are Brownie's favorite side wagers, each paying a nice 40 to 1 return.

Brownie pulls up his chair to the table and places his wager on the Players side.  Everyone else is on the Bankers side.  The dealer slides the Players 2 cards face down to Brownie on the table and Brownie peeks at each of them.  Announces that one is a monkey and the other one is a 3-line card.  Of course, Brownie is whispering 8-8-8-8, come on 8, give me another pip, make this 7 an 8.  Finally, Brownie flips over the 8.  Brownie props himself up in his chair, pointing at his $900.00 wager and telling the rest of the people how smart he really is.

The dealer slides the 2 Bankers side cards to the highest wagering woman that just happens to be seated next to Brownie.  She peeks and peeks and peeks.  Finally, Brownie says, so whatcha got big shot?  And the woman says, a monkey and a 4-line card.  Another person also wagering on the Bankers side takes his right hand and scoops it into the imaginary magical dust bowl and then reaches over and rubs his thumb and first 2 fingers together over the 4-line card, citing 9-9-9-9-9.  Please get rid of one of the pips and make it a 9.  Brownie is like, WTF man!  Seriously, stop with the shenanigans and the idiotic gestures man!  Play right!!!, he says.  The guy that sprinkled the magical dust on the card, is now starring at Brownie and nodding his head, blinking his right eye and tugging on his ear.  Brownie can not believe it.  Brownie is thinking to himself, how did someone so stupid and pretentious make it into the all-time worldwide society of professional gamblers?  The woman flips over a 9 and Brownie's face changes.

So, Brownie speaks up, WTF I can not even win with a natural 8!  So, Brownie places his next wager on the Banker side and everyone looks at each other and places their wagers on the Players side.  So, Brownie thinks to himself for a few seconds and pulls his wager down to the Players side as well.  Everyone else looks at each other and engages in a little Southeast Asian dialog and every single wager gets moved back to the Bankers side, except for Brownies of course.  Brownie says, I will show you, I will show each of you that I have the power and the ability to read the random presentments of the shoe, it is not science or mathematical.  So, the woman that flipped the 9 card asks Brownie, so then what is it?  Brownie says, it is a natural gift from someone I met in the mountains while downhill 70% grade world champion skiing doing around 130 to 150 MPH and instilling in me a power that makes Voodoo appear to be lame and outdated.

The cards come out.  The dealer slides the 2 Players side cards once again to Brownie.  Brownie peeks and peeks and peeks.  This time Brownie announces that he has a 3-line card and a 1-line card.  Brownie is whispering 6 and 3, then whispering 7 and 2, then whispering 8 and an Ace.  Finally, Brownie flips over an 8 and a 2 card.  Snickers and laughter come from the Asians sitting there.  One of the Asian just took a sip of coffee and a few bubbles came out of his nose as well.  Brownie is like, man wipe your nose, that is absolutely disgusting, having your snot drip onto the felt!  Seriously bro, nasty.  Then the dealer slides the 2 Bankers cards to the same woman that flipped the natural 9 the pervious hand.

The woman is saying, 2 four-line cards.  She turns one longways and starts to peel it back and the guy that sprinkled the magical dust onto the previous one, was like; Wait!, Wait!, Wait! And Brownie was like saying, stop the unintelligent and insane magical dust sprinkling please, play right.  And the guy goes, okay Brownie, so you want me to just stare at the cards and tell you what each one is based on my ability to read random events?  And Brownie says, do what you want bro, you are whacked out of your mind anyways.

So, the guy reaches over and sprinkles another application of magical dust onto the card the woman is about to peel back.  Sprinkle, Sprinkle, Sprinkle.  The guy is actually saying the word SPRINKLE, as he is doing it.  The woman turns to Brownie, nods her head twice, blinks her eye 3 times and tugs the heck out of her ear.  The dealer is saying, what am I involved in a circus, a LaLa Land dream or what?  The woman looks back to her card and flips it, it was a 10.  Brownie breaks out in a laugh as the woman is dead on serious and starts peeling the second one back.  The guy says once again; Wait! Wait! Wait!  Once again, the guy begins to sprinkle and sprinkle and sprinkle his invisible magical dust onto the second card.  So, Brownie says, how come your magical dust did not work on the first card if it is real?  And the guy answers Brownie, because I did not apply enough of it.  But I got that under my wing now, watch this.  And the guy sprinkles and sprinkles and sprinkles and sprinkles.  The woman peeks and peeks and peeks and peels and peels and peels the card back.  She flops a 9 and everyone turns to Brownie.  The woman says, so Brownie what happened?

Once again, Brownie shoves up his remaining chips, well over $2,000.00 on the Bankers side and announces the Banker will repeat, has to repeat.  Everyone else is citing a cut, a cut to the opposite side, the Players side.  The rest of the table places all their wagers on the Players side.  Brownie then reaches over to his wager stack and slides it down to the Players side.  Everyone reaches in and removes their wagers.  The woman turns back to Brownie, why did you move your wager down to where we were at?  Brownie answers, it is a free country and I can do what I please, okay?  She says to Brownie, it is not fair you are giving us bad luck.  Brownie says, impossible baccarat does not work that way.  The cards are already predetermined and preset to come out the way they will, I or you cannot change the outcome of what is waiting.  They all turn to one another and laugh and laugh and laugh.  Finally, they tell the dealer to go ahead and deal, they are all staying out of the hand.  Brownie laughs.  The dealer slides Brownie the 2 cards for the Players and Brownie tells the dealer to open the Bankers cards first.  The woman is saying that she knows that the Bankers side has a natural 9 and Brownie laughs once again.  The dealer flops a 6 and a 3.  Brownie gets real quite and the smile falls from his face.  Brownie flops two monkeys.  The lady turns back to Brownie and thanks him like 5 times.  Brownie tells her to shut up, please just shut up!

Brownie pulls 2 purple chips from a previous win he stashed away and puts those in front of himself.  Everyone else wagers on the Banker for a repeat.  Brownie pushes both his purple chips up on the Bankers side also.  The guy turns to Brownie and says, we will all stay on the Banker but you have to support us with the magical dust I will sprinkle on the cards.  Brownie says, you only have $800.00 or so on your wager and I have more, I get the cards, so no magical dust fruitcake.  Plains and simple.  The woman next to Brownie picks up her $750.00 wager and stacks it on the guys wager and they all look at Brownie and shrug their shoulders.  Brownie pulls his wager down to the Players side and says, go ahead and use your magical dust, you guys are all certified fruitcakes anyway.

The dealer deals the cards.  The Players cards are pushed to Brownie.  Brownie peeks and peeks and peeks.  Then Brownie takes his right hand, dips it in the imaginary magical dust bowl and sprinkles and sprinkles and sprinkles the face down cards.  Brownie says, I had two 2-line cards, the magical dust I sprinkled will make me have a 4 and a 5 card, you will see.  Then Brownie flops one and it is a 5 card.  Brownie then sprinkles and sprinkles and sprinkles more magical dust.  He flops a second 5 card.  Everyone breaks out laughing and Brownie tells them to all shut up!  The woman asks Brownie, what happened?  She then said, you must have used the wrong magical dust Brownie.  The woman gets the cards past to her by the guy with the highest wager and she peeks and peeks and peeks and peeks.  She turns to Brownie and says a one-line card and a 3-line card.  Brownie says, yeah right---no problem you got a 7 and a 3 or an 8 and a 2.  No problem.  She flops the first one, an 8.  Then she sprinkles some magical dust on the other card face down.  She flops a 3.  Brownie laughs and laughs and laughs.  The dealer slides Brownie his 3rd card.  Brownie peeks and peeks and peeks.  Brownie smiles and say he has a 3-line card.

Brownie peeks and peeks and peeks, peels and peels and peels and flops an 8.  Brownie says, there beat that and breaks out laughing and physically patting himself on the back.  The dealer slides the Bankers 3rd card to the woman and she then slides it to the guy with the largest chip stack.  He peeks and peeks and peeks.  The guy slowly reaches across to the table right in front of Brownie and dips his hand into the invisible and imaginary magical dust bowl.  The guy says, I rather have your magical dust for this one instead of mine, I just feel yours is spot on and real.  Brownie tells the guy he is whacked out of his mind and how much of a fruitcake he is.  The guy says out loud, I have a 3-line card, one change to lose, one change to tie and one chance to win.  The woman turns and says, use more magical dust, sprinkle more and make that baby an 8 please!  The guy sprinkles and sprinkles and sprinkles and sprinkles.  The guy calls the pit boss over and talks in Southeast Asian to her and asks her to sprinkle some more dust on the card.  The pit boss looks at everyone and shrugs her shoulders and everyone except Brownie is egging her on to do it.  She looks at Brownie and asks if it is okay with him as well.  Brownie says to go right ahead and calls them all fruit cakes.  The pit boss sprinkles and sprinkles and sprinkles the imaginary magical dust on the non-disclosed card.  The guy peels it back and says it is at least a 7.  Flips the card around and starts to peel the opposite end and flops it over right in front of Brownie.  It was an 8!

Brownie got up and left.  Brownie was mumbling out loud how those small bites from the better looking trends really suck.  Everyone waves bye bye to Brownie and the game goes on without him.  As Brownie is making his way to the exit, he sees a winter display near the front doors.  Win a gift certificate for snow skiing clothes and skies at our gift shop, enter today.  Brownie thinks to himself, Boy O Boy, if those people only knew I used to ski like 150 MPH down 70 to 90% grades in world championship ski competition where only 3 or 4 or 5 people in the entire world could accomplish such feats, they would have relaxed a bit on the magical dust thing and let me win.

Gobbledy Gook and BlaBlaBla Mistruths-Drama-and Made Up Garbage Appearing Online

Causes and Effects Resulting in Bad Circumstances to the Player

I will give you the punch line first here:
That people tend to seek information that aligns with their views.  In some form, fashion or other means, I do wholeheartedly believe that we are all guilty of this at times.  The problem being on message boards, a handful of members will blast the majority of others with a repetitive and usually challenging statement with zero or very little facts, research or experiences, just a statement to cause drama and upset.  Period.  No other reason other than the selfishness and audience stealing desire of the poster coming on the scene to disrupt a member's thread.  Again, Period. No matter the original author's purpose, points or how much time and trouble they put into the original posting to help make a community.  Unlike a real classroom or seminar setting, where an actual challenge will come about and constructive and real pros and cons are cited and discussed with ample time for questions and answers, etc.  But on message boards, a group of the stronger and self-proclaimed masters or professional gamblers, usually take hold and attempt domination.  Moderation will generally bring on a citation by those offenders of the Admin and the Moderators stopping free speech, etc.  Then the vicious cycle begins.  Then sides are taken and the personalities overrule the chance to share info, data and really useful research and real-life experiences.

And what are the consequences? Why will the players hurt themselves the highest majority of the times?  Because, they will convince themselves that erroneous and bad information they are tailoring to themselves will successfully assist them to accomplish their goals of winning large sums of money and no matter what or how they attempt to adjust, they are truly fighting a losing battle.  They started with the wrong equipment and tools concerning the gambling war chest IMO, they believe in false agendas, faked info and stories, etc., that add so much weight and burden to their gaming attempts.  Therefore, when the player finally uncovers the truth, he lost virtually all of his capital, personal and business relationships, along with burning himself out past redemption the highest majority of the times.  Great for the casino, great for your casino host, great for the loan sharks, great for the pawn shops, great for everyone involved in the industry except for yourself.  PLEASE NOTE:  You do not have to believe me, you do not have to follow me, you do not have to find validity in anything I say or do, in fact why not just believe someone that is an ex-world class skier mastering 100 plus MPH 70% or so downgrades or others claiming to have gambled around the world and constantly posts pictures of on-line scoreboards with 5 to 7 shoes of losing statistics and a final one each day where he finally recouped all of his losses and profited for the day?

Onward.  Let me explain.  Why the rise and change since the 70's through the mid-90's?  Even bring that out a bit past 2000.  Because of the internet and making money, that's why.  Coupled with the other non-sense with social media, message boards and other internet forums used for the wrong reasons.

"Truth is no longer dictated by authorities, teachers, professors, and people with a lot of real-life experiences and those that really have a good-hearted desire to help others share their own school of hard knocks.  But is networked by peers with lots of other reasons, rather than those I just laid out.  For every fact there is a counter fact and all these counter facts and facts look identical online, which is confusing to most people."  There is your reasoning, pick it apart, agree with it or not.  But, IMO, it is 100% spot on, without one reservation whatsoever!

And misinformation is dangerous, REAL DANGEROUS, especially in gambling because, misinformation is not like a plumbing problem you fix. It is a social condition, like crime, that you must constantly monitor and adjust to not knowing what has actually worked or what has not.  If you do not know, you simply will most likely get hurt, and in gambling that means a real hurt, the loss of your money.

The sad part is, you will not be able to figure it out conclusively, what exactly is real and what exactly is made up or lies or just told with motives not in your best interest.   For someone really trying to learn something within the message boards, it causes a great deal of confusion and needless drama--sometimes by mistake and sometimes intentionally.  IMO, there is not much more of an explanation that just that. Correct me if I am wrong!

Their reasoning revealed a wide range of opinions about the nature of these threats and the most likely solutions required to resolve them. But the overarching and competing themes were clear:  Those who do not think things will improve felt that humans mostly shape technology advances to their own, not-fully-noble purposes and that bad actors with bad motives will thwart the best efforts of technology innovators to remedy today's problems.

And those who are most hopeful believed that technological fixes can be implemented to bring out the better angels guiding human nature.  Yeah right!  Sure thing and the rich and the wealthy will wake up every day at 4 AM and head out to their local restaurant and stay there all day and pay for everyone's food that cannot afford to eat, etc.

ADD THE FOLLOWING:

The fake news ecosystem preys on some of our deepest human instincts:  Respondents said humans, 'primal quest for success and power,  their survival, instinct, will continue to degrade the online information environment in the next decade'.  They predicted that manipulative actors will use new digital tools to take advantage of humans--inbred preference for comfort and convenience and their craving for the answers they find in reinforcing echo chambers.  Sorry, but in reality, it is like that in all facets of business.  It is a business thing, not out of the goodness of everyone's hearts.  I am a realist but the fake news thing is not at all hard to figure out.  It is about business and money, no matter if politics are involved.  Fact. Period.

Our brains are not wired to contend with the pace of technological change:  These respondents said the rising speed, reach and efficiencies of the internet and emerging online applications will magnify these human tendencies and that technology-based solutions will not be able to overcome them. They predicted a future information landscape in which fake information crowds out reliable information. Some even foresaw a world in which widespread information scams and mass manipulation cause broad swathes of public to simply give up on being informed participants in civic life.

Technology can help fix these problems:
These more hopeful experts said the rising speed, reach and efficiencies of the internet, apps and platforms can be harnessed to rein in fake news and misinformation campaigns. Some predicted better methods will arise to create and promote trusted, fact-based news sources.

It is also human nature to come together and fix problems:  The hopeful experts in the internet and AI industries, took the view that people have always adapted to change and that this current wave of challenges will also be overcome. They noted that misinformation and bad actors have always existed but have eventually been marginalized by smart people and processes. They expect well-meaning actors will work together to find ways to enhance the information environment. They also believe better information literacy among citizens will enable people to judge the veracity of material content and eventually raise the tone of discourse.

Here, remember Glen said this:
"Misinformation is not like a plumbing problem you fix. It is a social condition, like crime, that you must constantly monitor and adjust to. Since as far back as the era of radio and before, as Winston Churchill said, 'A lie can go around the world before the truth gets its pants on'."

Michael J. Oghia, an author, editor and journalist based in Europe, said he expects a worsening of the information environment due to five things:  1) The spread of misinformation and hate;  2) Inflammation, sociocultural conflict and violence; 3) The breakdown of socially accepted/agreed-upon knowledge and what constitutes 'fact'; 4) A new digital divide of those subscribed (and ultimately controlled) by misinformation and those who are 'enlightened' by information based on reason, logic, scientific inquiry and critical thinking; 5) Further divides between communities, so that as we are more connected we are farther apart. And many others.' I dug that paragraph out I saved from Michael Oghia, it is spot on and so amazingly correct IMO.

Please take a breath, please read the following carefully:

You need to really sit down and say, who is the author, what is his/her purpose of writing what I am reading?  Why should I believe what is written?  Why would this person say negative, derogatory, hateful, vindictive, humiliating, and/or chastising things or anything of the like against the other person!  Say those things.

While propaganda and the manipulation of the public via falsehoods is a tactic as old as the human race, many of these experts predicted that the speed, reach and low cost of online communication plus continuously emerging innovations will magnify the threat level significantly.

'The internet is the 21st century's threat of a 'nuclear winter,' and there is no equivalent international framework for nonproliferation or disarmament. The public can grasp the destructive power of nuclear weapons in a way they will never understand the utterly corrosive power of the internet to civilized society, when there is no reliable mechanism for sorting out what people can believe to be true or false.?

What actually works in a casino?  What actually worked on line gaming in 2,000 spins you had to consecutively wager on to profit by a guaranteed 5 units?  Etc., Etc., Etc.  You think AI can provide the answers.  Someday it might.  And when that day comes the game itself will somehow be changed.  But without everyone understanding AI and everything along with it, the internet with carrying the messages will still hurt the person reading and interpreting them, with their attempts to apply same within the casino to make money.  That is the absolute sad bottom line.

Problem being, more and more, history is being written, rewritten and corrected, because more and more people have the ways and means to do so. Therefore, there is ever more information that competes for attention, for credibility and for influence.

The other huge problem along the same lines is, the audiences typically are looking for information that fits their belief systems, so it is a really tough problem.

Humans are by nature selfish, tribal, gullible convenience seekers who put the most trust in that which seems familiar.

It comes down to motivation:
There is no market for the truth. The public is not motivated to seek out verified, vetted information. They are happy hearing what confirms their views. And people can gain more creating fake information (both monetary and in notoriety) than they can keeping it from occurring.  I am sorry I am publishing this really, because so many of you will blame me for things that actually happen, but all I am doing in reality, is pointing out the book, the covers and the dust jacket.  Each of you are filling in the words on the internet, in your own book, on my website BetSelection, etc., etc.  That is where so many of you are confused and stay confused.

As a group, humans are 'stupid'. It is 'group mind' or a 'group phenomenon' or, as George Carlin said, "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Then, you have Kierkegaard, who said, "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use."  And finally, Euripides said, "Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish".  If you cannot think and reason, gambling and the casino is not for you.  I wholeheartedly promise you that.

People on systems like Facebook are increasingly forming into 'echo chambers' of those who think alike. They will keep unfriending those who don't, and passing on rumors and fake news that agrees with their point of view the exact same as we do on gambling message boards and forums, no different!

Scott Shamp, a dean at Florida State University, commented, "Too many groups gain power through the proliferation of inaccurate or misleading information. When there is value in misinformation, it will rule."  But with gambling, internet message boards, forums, etc., it will still be burdened upon the receiver to deceiver what is actually right or wrong or what can or cannot apply to his needs and situations.  If he cannot do that, he will only hurt himself and continue the money loss.

Facts, truths, I will take my cash and wager on that, etc., some things are not black and white; for other situations, facts brought up to come to a conclusion are different that other facts used by others in a situation. Each can have real facts, but it is the facts that are gathered that matter in coming to a conclusion; who will determine what facts will be considered or what is even considered a fact?

It will certainly mean a greater degree of misinformation in the public internet sector and that is exactly what has been happening.  In general, not just in gambling message boards, but across the whole Internet thing.  It is easy to write, no one to check, re check and source everything.  Good and bad.  Good when everything is accurate, truthful and justified for its purpose.  Bad when it is motivated by not so good motives and reasonings.

Before, it took some kind of money and time as a general rule to get your word out, today all of which is changed.  And that is exactly my point. On my forum Betselection or otherwise.  Same, same.  Period.

In regards to a gambling system published for whatever reason on the internet or a message board on a forum.  'It is too easy to create fake facts, too labor-intensive to check and too easy to fool checking algorithms.'  Why?  Because there are many alternative motives and for the regular consumer that is just using the message board to learn and gain knowledge in an innocent way, he himself better be extra cautious and diligent. Worse and worse every day for the newcomers.  I am sure that statement will get me even more haters and enemies than I already have!  But I stand by it and love the challenges of those newcomers and their fake facts and dreamed up blablabla.

You better read the following and apply it, because it is the best truth about the internet in a short 3 sentences that I ever read.  1) 'Artificial intelligence that will supplament human judgment is being pursued aggressively by entities in the Silicon Valley and elsewhere.  2) Algorithmic solutions to replacing human judgment are subject to hidden bias and will ultimately fail to accomplish this goal. They will only continue the centralization of power in a small number of companies that control the flow of information. 3) The 'wild west' state of the internet will not be permitted to continue by those with power, as we are already seeing with increased national pressure on providers/companies by a range of means from law and regulation to moral and consumer pressures.

The people that really succeed or actually get something out of all this internet movement are; humans that are adaptive. When faced with novel predatory phenomena, counter-forces emerge to balance or defeat them.  But each one has to decide what are right, correct, lies, mistruths, or just plain does not apply to their purpose within gambling, the casino, baccarat, etc.  And that is tough for most everyone or just plain anti productive and time consuming.  We are at the beginning of a large scale negative impact from the undermining of a social sense of reliable fact. Counter-forces are already emerging. The presence of large scale 'landlords' controlling significant sections of the ecosystem (e.g., Google, Facebook) aids in this counter-response.  And those very things, Google, Facebook, etc., has overwhelming mentality implements into the minds of people like you and you carry it into gambling, the casino and online forums.

In reality and subjective view, IMO, I would have to say, this whole internet thing with all its content, direction and influence can never entirely be eliminated, but it can be managed.

The biggest risk, as with many things, is that narrow self-interest stops people from effectively collaborating.  And that will happen across the entire internet, whether it is a gambling message board forum or a news outlet.

As we understand more about digital misinformation, we will design better tools, policies and opportunities for collective action.  But IMO, there are huge amounts of work to do and that will take some time.  What a portion of society is ready for are the airbags, the safety belts and the many other features an auto of today needs and can support.  However, the largest amount of society is not ready for it or even can sustain it with the knowledge and desire.  Those are the ones that suffer from the results of the lies, the mistruths, the self serving dialogs and everything else on the internet, etc.  And what I just said, Glen said that is, that very thing is happening right now on Betselction forum.  And all other forums, IMO anyways.

You cannot and will never, machine-learn our way out of this disaster, which is actually a perfect storm of poor civics knowledge and poor information literacy, plain and simple.

>>>PLEASE READ TWICE<<<:  You cannot and will never solve your gambling problems or really find your gambling advantages via technology.  Reason being, you have to have the background in order to deceiver the wrong and the right or actually if finding the right is even possible.  It still and I do believe, will always take Blood, Sweat & Tears with a bunch of Hard Knocks in order to figure it all out.  Machines, the internet, the AI and all those rolled up and taken into consideration, can only assist oneself at best.  A gambler still needs good judgement, no make that, superior judgement!  Otherwise he has nothing to base his decisions on and nothing to measure them against.  And that is where so many argue, internet fight, disagree and get into trouble attempting to do so.

Remember newspapers?  Remember magazines.  I used to read them religiously, why?  Because everything was double and triple sourced, checked and rechecked and written by journalists that went out and wrote what they found, without the 90% plus alternative motives what is happening these days.  Reducing 'fake news' requires a profession whose members share a commitment to getting it right. That, in turn, requires a source of money to pay such professional journalists. Advertising used to provide newspapers with money to pay such people. That money is drying up, and it seems unlikely to be replaced within the next decade.  Those are facts, face it or not.  That is what is happening today in 2019.  In newspapers as well as on the internet, because of the internet.

And, what does an industry top professional say in regards to just that?   "The problem with online news is structural: There are too few gatekeepers, and the internet business model does not sustain quality journalism. The reason is simply that advertising revenue has been untethered from news production."  And, IMO once again, it filters right down to and replicates itself with internet message boards.

Many of those experts said the flaws in human nature and still-undeveloped norms in the digital age are the key problems that make users susceptible to false, misleading and manipulative online narratives. One potential remedy those respondents suggested was a massive compulsory crusade to educate all in digital-age information literacy. Such an effort, some said, might prepare more people to be wise in what they view/read/believe and possibly even serve to upgrade the overall social norms of information sharing.  I totally agree.

From Harvard University on Internet & Society, 'False information' intentionally or inadvertently so, "is neither new nor the result of new technologies. It may now be easier to spread to more people more quickly, but the responsibility for sifting facts from fiction has always sat with the person receiving that information and always will."

What is actually happening?  'Human beings are losing their capability to question and to refuse. Young people are growing into a world where those skills are not being taught.'

The bottom line is, or at least mine is, relying on algorithms and automated measures will result in various unwanted consequences.  You can refute that, but you seriously have no leg to stand on because you cannot prove otherwise, only say it in words.

Not just the internet thing we now have as a way of life and communications, but most things in general, Ignorance breeds frustration and "a growing fraction of the population has neither the skills nor the native intelligence to master deceiving what is factual, reality, historical or correct but been replaced by technological AI that has been proven".  And, therein lies so much of the problem that it is scary, at least to me it is.

Jim Warren, an internet pioneer and open-government/open-records/open-meetings advocate, said, "False and misleading information has always been part of all cultures (gossip, tabloids, etc.). Teaching judgment has always been the solution, and it always will be. I (still) trust the longstanding principle of free speech: The best cure for 'offensive' speech is MORE speech. The only major fear I have is of massive communications conglomerates imposing pervasive censorship."  And, therefore there has to be limits as to what can be, should be, has to be, what should not be and what has to prevail in print.  Whether we are talking about a message board, a magazine, a newspaper, the TV News or anything else.  IMO, the problem with a media such as BetSelction Message Forum, is that we are all in the one room together.  The 21 year old with limited knowledge and experience as well as that hard core 60 year old person that has a ton of information, experience and knowledge that others could very well learn from.  However, there are also those others, that have the desire to entice, bump, shake and only cause problems to hamper a community from actually all rallying together.  While those latter types are the minority in almost all cases, they certainly cause the majority to pull back, reserve themselves as well as limiting their participation due to the infliction of chastising, humiliation and other verbal abuse that the majority rather not have to be dealing with.  Quote me on that one please!

And as always, one thing that has never really changed is, the responsibility is with the person who is seeking the results, stories, data and trying to get information on what is going on.  And that is going to hold down the successful use of the message boards for quite some time.  The other thing on the message boards that makes it so difficult, IMO, is the declassification of the members knowledge, experience, and ability.  Everyone is within one room like I said.  While that is fine for many, many really do not desire to teach gambling 101, every time they sign on to check for content, etc.  And those that are just coming on board, they have a ton of questions and little answers.  Fitting in is tough to do, in so many situations.  Couple that, with the bothersome 5 or 7 or 10 members almost all boards have, that are only present to stir the pot, cause trouble, show off, contribute nothing, challenge most everything with their expression of free speech, etc., and it brings down the overall good purpose and great melting pot that most of us really do desire.

The question that I will close with is: In the next few years, will trusted methods emerge to block false narratives and allow the most accurate information to prevail in the overall information on message boards? Or will the quality and veracity of information online deteriorate due to the spread of unreliable, sometimes even dangerous, socially bias and outright lies because of those peddling their commercial endeavors as well as those that have no other purpose except to cause disruption?

In classrooms, seminars and workshops of the conventional and classical kinds, we do not have to endure the anonymity of everyone refusing to divulge who they are or where they live or why they are present.  As well, the class does not have to tolerate the aggressive class clown, the 2 or 3 with their disruptive and annoying behavior, as they will be dealt with immediately in most all cases.  Finally, the class as a whole or at least the majority of it, will be able to actually apply themselves and gain back what they generally put forth.

And that my friend is old-school learning, gaining knowledge and experience from others to mold-shape and form for your own advantage!

Bringing it to the table......

In today"s world of automation, technology and "instant most everything', we are programmed or are programming ourselves, that the computer is correct.  But I am sorry.  Not that way with baccarat.  At times it might seem that way, but that would only be adding fuel onto a fire-type of outcome the majority of the times.

Today, more so than yesterday, the game has changed.  I contribute the changing of it to social beliefs and belief in computer generated modeling, etc.  Same as reading and attempting to learn about the game or expand one's knowledge about it.  So many will say; What is the point? What is the factual trigger?  What is the answer with definitive scheduling, etc., etc., and so on?

But really, most everyone has no time to study, read detailed articles, observe, experience, intern and perfect their game.  Only run the model and believe in whatever the outcome that is deduced down to a short play section spread out into the proverbial long-run by yet another computer module.

The difference comes forth in the way each of us wager and how we view exactly what the results brought us.  No matter what you believe in, no matter how you apply your buy-in or winnings and no matter what your stop-loss may or may not be; we will all have very different and unique triggers that are self-generated for one reason or another.

The 3 Terribles:

First Thing.  There is true belief from experience, proper application of buy-in and bankroll, and what each of us feels a profit should be or could be.  Second Thing.  There is the influence of what others/another is doing.  And that my friend, is powerful-extremely powerful in countless ways.  Be totally conscious of that very thing and use it or avoid it.  It is dangerous as it has the 'power' and tendency to charge a very well thought out, researched and refined wagering plan for anyone of us.  And the Third Thing, would be experimentation. Yes, to experiment and have our 'frame of minds' altered, etc.  Again, Be Careful!

And nothing works, works and works and keeps working.  Period.  Now, if you really desire to profit and profit nicely, you will need to concentrate on Consciousness, Sections & Turning Points, Level & Plateaus and Money Management Methods, which you have or should have developed by now.

You cannot always find what is happening at a baccarat table, jump in and profit.  That is the largest and most abused and destructive belief that countless people assume can always be done.  But it is there and it remains there.  Probably always will, because it makes for great copy and salesmanship to go along with people selling the things they try to in this field.

Also, what is totally misunderstood IMO is, 'Risk Capital' or 'Buy-In' money.  Exactly what the two words mean at face value?  Risk, (a change of loss) and Capital (the amount of money you are willing to put up or are putting up).  Simple as that. But most people writing on the internet swear up and down as to how they employ stop loss and win stop to preserve their buy-in, which again, IMO will only hamper their chances of winning and hurt them, far greater than it could ever help them.

My own play is governed by the results of the presentments I am experiencing.  Not my desires, goals, possibilities or greed.  Sure, at times there are some overwhelming, 'door knockers'....  However, that is where the experience should come right back in and be present, known and overwhelming to yourself.  I have certainly found that setting whatever goal, is not the way that will produce the best wins.  Because we tend to rationalize out what should, what will, what must or what might happen.  Certainly, none of those have to come about while you are there playing.  But we justify our decisions and choices and only add huge amounts of frustration and complication to our instant decision-making process we are currently experiencing and practicing.

So, be conscious that you cannot work all 3 angles that baccarat does have, will seem right for the easy picking, as they say.  One, following your own protocols, beliefs and schedules.  Two, someone on a heater and following them, or someone on a losing streak and your desire to wager against them to capitalize, etc.  And three, experimentation and your own belief to convince yourself how stupid the casino is and how easy it is to finally get on the winning side and no one else can understand it all except for yourself.

However, there are 7 things that will move you forward and allow yourself to play with advantages.

1)     Understanding and remaining fully conscious without getting sucked in, following, believing in and falling prey to others at the table or on the internet keeping yourself in absolute neutral reality enabling you to see more presentments in a clearer vision;

2)     Use Sections & Turning Points (to govern your wagering progressions and intensity);

3)     Be aware of your very own Levels & Plateaus (keeping on the edge of your seat for comfort and control, stopping points and toning it down or up after wins);

4)     Employing a Money Management Method including: Allocating wins into 1/3rd-1/3rd-1/3rd amounts; Positive Progressions; and 1 + 4 Side Parlays;

5)     Replenishing & Cancelling your Buy-In;

6)     Refusing to engage in additional Buy-Ins to continue a session;

7)     What Risk-Capital actually is and changing your frame-of-mind from buy-in to risk capital.

I understand what you're saying. However to simplify it and get down to the base of the basics, I believe everything originates from the first three things I mentioned.

Yes there are ones and threes and then there are ones and fours and then there are 1 2 3 3 2 1s, etc., etc., etc., but all those are variations of the first three that I mentioned.

The list is long, but like I said every combination, pattern or trend is originated from either pure chop, doubles/triples  or streaks. IMO.
#909
1)  Streaks;

2)  Doubles or Triples;

AND

3)  Chop-Chops.

There is nothing else, IMO.
(That is referring to Banker and Player sides only in Mini or Midi Bac only, not Bad Beat Bac with some great side bets that can be extremely profitable under the right circumstances, but that is a whole other story in itself.)

Almost all lose their money playing because of their own mentality and greed.
Not much else really, although they will blame it on anything and everything else.

A person cannot play to win all three.  It is impossible.
Say what you want, degrade, humiliate and chastise. But there is no way to capitalize with a mechanical system on all three.

Streaks continue, doubles or triples are limited continuance and chops, will alternate.  Your mind, emotions and pocket are effected when you lose as well as win, losses happen and compound themselves each and every session.

The other night there was 6 of us or so.  We picked and all agreed on 2 triggers within certain Sections that continually were presenting themselves.  We played them, they continued, we pumped it up when those came around and we did extremely well.  We played a few other things just to keep us in the game, warmed up and ready, lets say.  We toned it way down on the desires, the greed and the stupid mistake of attempt to change the shoe for something we thought would happen.

Paramount, is knowing and staying fully conscious of both your Level and your individual Plateau.  Again, paramount!

Kind of the same as knowing how to golf, having the equipment, playing and applying it all and getting in a get game versus knowing it all and playing stupid and falling prey to all the surrounding distractions and things we just knew we should not have engaged in--but did anyway.  No different.

Here is one that we repeatedly did the other night and I do favor, $600.00 win money from 1 or 2 hands.  Divide it up to for attempts of $150.00.  The first $150.00 is further divided up to $50/$50/$50 and the second $150.00 is divided up to two other attempts of $75/$75.

So it would look like this:

$50-$50
$75-$75-$75
$150
$150

Each wager would then be played out with whatever the person felt/desired.  Usually with a positive progression for each of some type.  All depends on what is being presented and how the presentment came about and how strong or weak it was, etc., etc.

I am remembering H-Money doing a few nice 3 hand positive progressions, which he normally does not do.  Something like this:  $150 and then, $300 and then, $600.  He would add an additional $1,050.00 to his $150.00 win money that he started with for the first wager.  He would take like $900.00 of that $1,050.00 and lock that up and add the other $150.00 to his chip stack in front of him.

To me, that is money management method.  Does not matter the units or the amounts.  Matters how you use your win.  For those of you that think you can keep compounding and compounding and winning, you will fail each and every time you go to the casino and play.  Talk whatever you want, how you continually loose 5 or 6 or 8 shoes and only because you keep playing, you finally recouped and/or won.  (Just like another member used to repeatedly put out there here and now on other boards.)  A sheer crock of poo-poo, 100 percent poo!

There was 2 players that played with us the other night that we never really played together from the start of the eve to the finish and then post talk together.  They both repeatedly said how much my 1/3rd, 1/3rd, 1/3rd and other small tidbits of money management method had helped them.

There was some, 'buts and maybes', however, their tone was nothing but positive and they just wanted to concentrate on remembering and staying conscious of those things while they play.  That very thing to me has been my largest challenge in applying it, especially when playing alone/solo without camaraderie and others to remind each of us of those sort of things.

I liked the way they summed it up.  Nothing new, just reinforcing and thought to put it out here. "I think I finally found something that can allow me to hold wins, win more and leave with part of my winnings when I win".

To me and many others, those are the types of things that apply advantage to the players and take it away from the casino.  You can challenge all of this, but I believe you will be into more fantasy play and on-line play than real life casino type of play, which I only do anyway.

My other buddy playing always subscribes to a 1-3-2-6 or a 2-6-4-12 positive progression once he gets up a few wagers.

He had 2 completed set-asides of $500.00 win money split into 4 attempts of $125.00.

Once he won the $500.00 his set-aside went like this:

1st Wager:  $125.00
2nd Wager:  $375.00
3rd Wager:  $250.00
4th Wager:  $750.00

So, he was going by the 1-3-2-6 wagering progression with the above amounts.  2 of the 4 attempts he did complete and win and 2 he lost.

What I have always really liked about it, is that the risk is only the first unit and the second added on unit for the 2nd wager along with the casinos 1 unit added to the 2nd wager if the first was won.

What is even better, is getting to the 3rd wager, you would still have a $250.00 profit and your total risk of $250.00 returned to you if you did win that 2nd wager, even though you lost the 3rd one.

What so many players do to themselves is set a dreadful stop win and a stop loss.  All those do to yourself is limit any possible win and make you loss more to attempt that dreadful recouping that messes up most all players, like somewhere in the highest end of 90 percentile anyway.

Read, learn, interpret with advantage.  It is not really hard unless you choose to believe the garbage postings of those that claim they are professional and successful gamblers by employing scheduled types of wagers and always winning.  Which is impossible, 100% impossible.

#913
Money Management Method is procedure, NOT scheduling of what to wager of course.

Flabet into a 1/2 up, positive progression or a 1 or 2 times your buy-in, then you are sitting good.  You must implement money management method or you will doom yourself.

Your buy-in must be pure risk capital.  Your buy-in cannot be split up into hold or stop loss, etc., because you are going to put so much pressure on yourself, you will doom yourself just about every single time after losing a few hands.

Betting does not control or guide me as an automatic schedule to continue on a pre-planned scheduled track, etc.

My win is grouped up and divided up with the 1/3rds I always mention.

Win is grouped with 1/3rd to the buy-in, 1/3rd to additional risk and the remaining 1/3 or the 2/3rds to lock up no matter what.

Pretty much what happened last night.  I posted this with a bit more a few months ago, but it sure fits last night.  Here:

Belief in Something.  Influenced.  Visual Factors.

Here, let me spell something out.  If you believe something even if not scientific, mathematical or historically discovered, proven and absolutely correct, is it wrong?  What I mean is, can you have something you do that is correct and proper for yourself in your situation or circumstances?  And have that work positive for you and for what purpose you created it or found it?

Reality will supersede in factual results.  Always will, it must.  Does not matter what you are doing, the factual results will cancel, accept or discount whatever you introduce along the way, at the end.  Do we agree?

Problem is, almost all of us do not really think at the table when we are playing baccarat.  We really do not.  We get sucked in and we get sucked in big time.  Sure, you can read this and shrug your shoulders and say, Glen you do, I do not.  But hey, we both know that is wrong.

Just about all of us have two ways to play this game. One is in our heads, on paper, on the computer and everywhere else except the live brick and mortar event itself.  The other, is the brick and mortar event.  Lots of things happen when we get to the casino.  And the sad part of it all, they happen without any of us doing anything.  We are oblivious to them and we chase everything and pursue every avenue except ourselves to control, govern and take charge of ourselves in the proper way at the casino.  Again, shrug your shoulders and say I have no idea what I am talking about, but I do and I do 100 percent for about 98 to 99 percent of everyone.

Most of what really does happen at a casino is the person is influenced from the effects of the visual factors. The visual factors present themselves in varying ways to the different people there.  The influencing manipulates in varying stages and degrees as well.  But the bottom line is, it happens, and it happens repeatedly throughout the session(s) to the people.  Because the people are in a situation, they believe they belong in, are comfortable in and will prevail, their understanding of that same situation is not being addressed or understood.  And that is where the problem lies and develops and preys upon the people that gamble at the game of baccarat.

The Most Dangerous Thing at Baccarat.

What is the most dangerous thing, the most powerful thing and the thing that causes wrongful beliefs, dangerous influences and life changing factors within hours?  It is money.  The same as it does in businesses and families.  Just in those two it takes a much longer time to come to fruition.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
Now, what happened at the bac table with Me, H-Money, another board member and the a few other players.  Here is how we were thinking the last shoe where we made the cash.  I will use H-Moneys wagering during the last shoe as an example.

Last shoe buy-in was $1,200.00.  $90.00 win first wager.  $90.00 loss second wager.  $90.00 loss third wager.  And a $90.00 win for his fourth wager.  We took him aside and chastised him pretty good.  He was back to the flat wagering and the scared wagering style very clearly showing once again.  We talked to him and he agreed.  We repeatedly told him, forget the past, forget the earlier shoes even though they were pretty good for us all.  Play this shoe like it is brand new session, the last and tomorrow there is no more Bac to make up or continue, etc., etc.

The next time he wagers, he throws out there $400.00 and he wins.  We make him stack it up and he wagers $800.00 the next time and he wins that one also.  If I am calculating it correct, he is up $1,200.00 on the shoe win money now and has his entire buy-in as even money.

His next wager was $500.00 on the Bead Plate line that was forming all Players tot he right and it was the only strong and true entire line so far, 4 going on 5 columns.  It was a tie and it was a natural 9 tie.  H-Money pulls his wager down and we all left ours right where they were at, on the Players side.  When it is strong it is strong.  We DO NOT attempt to change or engage in the cut for sake of second guessing the presentment that are happening.  Huge mistake guys, HUGE!

H-Money throws up $600.00 on the Player side and announces he is following us, LOL--Camaraderie once again.  My style in many ways.  But most of all, when it is working, why fix it?  That is when all the fallacy, voodoo, superstition, etc., etc., comes about.   Anyway, one the Players side, a natural 8 is turned over and wins the hand.  H-Money is the first to parlay the $600.00 win he just got and went for a $1,200.00 hand.  Yes, he won that one also, and now he has his buy-in still even and is up a total of $3,000.00.

The same line on the Bead Plate comes around once again, H-Money puts $1,500.00 up on the wager and it wins with a Players 7 over the Bankers 6.  He stacks it up once again a few hands later, the first row shy of the next Bead Plate for that 5 line down, 5 hands later.  He/We all wins that one also.  Now H-Money is up a total of $7,500.00 and of course his buy-in is back in his pocket and off limits.

We are all sitting up in profits and this is our final few hands we all agreed on.  Hard as heck to leave and walk away but we all know what will eventually happen when it turns, and it always will.  Always.

The next upcoming hand we agreed upon H-Money wagers $1,200.00 and the rest us, some greater and a couple less.  We all lose.  H-Money pointed out that he was up a clear total of, $7,500.00 and removed $2,500.00 from that for risk capital as we pointed out.  The 1/3rd I always write about and drummed into his head.  His buy-in away and he is continuing with 1/3rd of the casinos money and 2/3rds locked up, and we would enforce he leaves with that if the $2,500.00 got lost back to the casino.

We wait out a few hands, get some free hand presentments and we are once again back to that upcoming all Player line on the Bead Plate.  H-Money puts up $1,300.00 on that upcoming line for another continuing Player win.  We all follow of course.  The win comes and H-Money goes with a parlay of it, once again.  He has his $2,000.00 wager up on the next hand for another Player win, not for the reason that one was just produced, but for the reason of equaling out, which the shoe was also doing to a 'T' in reality.  Fallacy not to even be considered, just purely following what the majority of the wins are when nothing else was present.  We are only wagering about 2 or 3 hands out of every 10 anyway.

We all agree, mostly anyway, that the upcoming hand will be our last.  4 out of the 6 of us are profiting 5 to 10 fold our buy-ins and the other 2 of us, are a bit less up, but up none the less.  H-Money is wagering $2,000.00 on the upcoming hand and we are all there as well.  We do pull it off and win it.  H-Money and one other demands to keep playing, the rest of us convince them to leave.  We all head to the cashier.  H-Money is cashing at $10,200.00 and says he will take the $200.00 and go back and wager 8 times, $25.00 a time on the Fortune 7 only.  Which is table min anyway, wagering amount.  We laugh.  We all cash out and we all head back to the Bac room.

H-Money buys back in with the $200.00 and tells the dealer what he wants to do.  The dealer tells him to cover both sides since no one else is playing or just wager a quarter on the B or P and let it fly.  H-Money really wants to play, we can tell.  We convince him not to and he buys in with another hundred for 4 quarters to put one on each side for the cards to be dealt.  He tries to get us all to buy-in, no one wants to, the hype is over with us.  H-Money has a quarter on each the B and the P and one on the F-7 as well.  The first 3 hands he is all set up for the F-7 and the third card is one point off each time from him winning $1,000.00 on it.  All 8 hands go by and he losses the $200.00 side money and his $100.00 is sitting there even.

I pick up his chips and tell him, FINISHED, lets go.  Cash out the $100.00 and buy dinner elsewhere.  H-Money is like, lets get a comp and eat here.  We all say no.  H-Money is getting that look.  I go to the cashier, get the $100.00 and walk out.  DONE.  We get to the restaurant and we have our post comment session and reinforce everything I tried to outline here about money management method and using reality as a guideline, rather than what you think or have experience with, you know that thing called, "what it should be".

Wise up guys, realize when it is there to capitalize on it and hold it.  Revert back to each of our common and well familiar with, 'Levels and Plateaus' that each belong to us individually.  Stop the fantasies and the grand illusions of what you think you can do each and every time.

The casino we went to last night, also put in a new small VIP/High Limit private room to gather, relax, talk, enjoy some drinks.  No rush, no bothering.  Kind of a nice touch, getting away from the larger VIP lounges and costly spots being asked every 5 mins if you want something (no matter if comped or you have to pay), this place just lets you be, a great new trend IMO.
