After watching to the end I'm impressed by its features and approach.

A lot of work has gone into this tool which is based on a range of statistical and probability analyses. Petr holds tertiary qualifications in the field so he knows what he is doing.

And in the right hands, it delivers, too. Forum members should take note that -- playing RNG only -- Petr has turned his original 400 bankroll into 7500 in about 7 months.  An amazing achievement, that's part of a stated personal Challenge he's set himself.

Those who dismiss statistics in roulette as being irrelevant should note there are 7500 reasons for being more open-minded.

In playing RNG his success thus far has certainly given me pause for thought. Like many here, I was dismissive of RNG because so many are rigged.

Petr has found a game that seems to be honest. Long may it last!

You'll find details of his Challenge and his Black Pirate software here:  http://shareschoice.com/

A wonderful example of the biter bit with a delightful serve of British humour.

And thoroughly well deserved, too.

Enjoy:

General Discussion / Re: RDL -Red Days of Loss
October 06, 2017, 10:56:52 PM
A most interesting and thoughtful exposition, Thomas. Much to ponder. The forum is fortunate to have yourself and few others who post interesting, literate and challenging ideas.

Your point about RDLs reminds me of "drain days" in my own betting activities both on horses and greyhounds.

Bear with me and I'll explain the highlights...

In 1929 Ralph Nelson Elliott discovered a repeating pattern in the stock markets.  He found a fractal type mathematical model to define the pullbacks and gains that a stock and the markets as a whole go through.

Yes, some of you will recognize  the Elliot Wave.

Like most things in life, racing conforms to the Elliot Wave and Fibonacci principles and laws.

In racing, you will often find that a system works well 61.8% of the time. But 38.2% of the time you will experience uncharacteristic losses that will drive you bonkers!

Interesting note that the Elliott Wave theory also has periods where there will be 61.8% losses to 38.2% wins.

These are the "drain" periods. Or, to use Thomas' analogy, the Red Days of Loss.

Luckily, drains can be easily spotted. When your system fails 2 to 3 times in a row, you have encountered a drain -- an RDL situation.

As far as win bets are concerned you just have to stay out of the betting market.

But, as in the equity or currency markets, you can use reverse strategies to make money during a drain in the betting results. You can lay instead.

Betfair and its exchange competitors offer the option to lay. That's not to everyone's taste because eventually liabilities will bite when the selection is inconsiderate enough to actually win instead of lose!

Either way I've found it's best to stop and paper trade until the 61:38 ratio begins to reassert itself -- it doesn't have to be exact but close.

Of course, none of the observations in these two posts thus far, will be wasted on the more thoughtful forum members who enjoy casino betting.

His name is Brian Ward, inventor of square roulette.

Surely Jack Kennedy was the inventor of Square Roulette?

Rightly or wrongly this site certainly thinks so:  http://www.roulette30.com/2014/04/positional-roulette.html

Why would someone play hide and seek by using crypto-currency in the first place, unless there was a serious reason...?

In general, all cryptocurrencies transactions are not being regulated by banks...by choosing them you are effectively adding an additional layer of risk, beyond the one from the game itself.

Is this what you really want?   :nope:

Excellent points, BA.

Apart from which, at any moment we can expect various governments to move on cryptos -- China has already taken a swipe at Bitcoin.

Then you could find your balance is worth the temperature of ice.

Until we see which way the crypto-cat will jump, it's probably best to refrain from putting money into crypto-casinos [or any casino come to that, unless you have a profitable bet selection/money management strategy ]

Victor,

Will you provide a list some of these casinos ?

Why not use GOOGLE yourself ????

For example, type in:    casinos + cryptocurrency

It's not hard to think of other search words!

That should leave the flat-bet-naysayers more than a bit red-faced!

Just my opinion, of course.

As you say, just your opinion.  It's hardly surprising, given that I've had to moderate you in the past -- some things can't be ignored.

Hopefully I won't have to again.  But that's up to you, of course.

After all, the vast majority of regular posters choose to abide by the simple rules, and never need to be moderated.

General Discussion / POSTING: PARTICIPATION RATES
September 25, 2017, 08:35:27 AM
We have some pretty interesting threads and discussions going on at the moment.

We have 2067 members. And yet, of those, only 268 have ever posted.  Just 13% are doing all the work.

In other words, 87% of the members take all and give nothing back to the forum.

We have rules intended to protect members. We have moderators who do their best to enforce those rules, so that members can feel able to post without fearing personal attacks or similar immature behaviour.

All ideas...thoughts...imaginings...research....resources... You name it -- we're interested.

So come on you 87% -- let's have some participation.  Give us all the benefit of your grey matter  ;)

Now here's a thought I recently encountered on the BBC site:

'Inversion' is a strategy that looks at problems in reverse, to minimise the negatives instead of maximising the positives'

Why would that strategy not be applicable to bet selection?  [Any replies in the discussion thread, please]

OK.

For reasons best known to yourself you choose not to explain the various terms used.

Perhaps you think we all know them, because we somehow acquired that knowledge by osmosis as we eat our breakfast cereal.

My apologies for daring to ask for clarification. Silly me...

Blue_Angel wrote: "Sometimes the best way to predict the future is to create it!"

Indeed.  And the role of visualisation is involved to some extent in creating a desired outcome which is, of course, an element of a future.

http://www.silvalifesystem.com/online/lessons/4-visualization

I use "a future " deliberately rather than  "the future" because there are a multiplicity of futures.

For example, each time you make a decision you create several alternative futures -- there's the one in which you make the opposite decision, and there's the one in which you did not make a decision.

But your reality is based on the future created by the decision you made, and that future has become your current 'now'. The other futures exist but remain unvisited by you.

There ya go. I'll leave you to unpick the threads and notions in this post. Doctor Who fans shouldn't have too much trouble!

Thanks Blue_Angel. Very interesting.

As a followup we can add this:

Expanding on the work of Marko Rodin, Randy Powell explains vortex math and the ABHA Torus from the beginning. Randy says with Vortex-Based Mathematics we will be able to see how energy is expressing itself mathematically.

For those who need some reassurance this is not a load of baloney then
