Even chance / Re: Triple shooter for even chances

Chris,
The LW register is different from what you are trying to play. LW register is what is happening in the table. Irrespective of what you bet, whether you are winning or losing, LW register just follows the table based on the last two numbers came. Of the last two numbers if 2 or 3 out of 3 even chances match its marked as a "W" in the LW register, else it is marked as a "L".

Now comes what you bet. If the LW register says "L", you just bet the opposite of the number that came last, irrespective of where you placed your bets last. It should not be the opposite of where you last placed your bets. This is why this is different from others because you are followign the table for every single bet and not going with a fixed "Same" and "Opposite". Similarly, if the LW register says "W", you just bet the same chances as the number that came last, irrespective of where you placed your bets last.

Hope you got this. Happy to clarify.

Now I am not a big fan of excels and bots as it interrupts my creativity at the table, but i know some people enjoy using them. So I have created a little excel which is designed to follow exactly what i described in the framework with a 5 spin cyclic progression. All you need to do is enter your base unit and start entering the spins and the excel will do the rest for you. My advice as always, don't be a system player, the excel will make you a system player. Use it wisely! Happy reading and happy playing folks!

wow, thank you very much
the excel sheet counts zero as LBE so it messes the results a bit but no matter

And I agree with Flat, betting in cycles is a very good way of playing - better than flatbetting or standard progressions

It may look like a hypothetical question but if there is a surefire method that requires you to have a few thousand chips, for worst cases and you are most likely to win big too. Will you play that?

If it's surefire then there should be no problem cause you always get your money back right?
I would probably play it - it depends on how much is a few thousand chips
then again, with low limit casinos this days a thousand chips could be $100 and if you win thousands chips ( meaning hundreds of dollars) then you play and slowly increase the stakes

you should use a stop loss of 35 units
anything over that while flatbetting is pointless

It seemed too low to me too, then I realized I had made a mistake because I used the standard deviation of 185 misses on a number instead of the actual probability. It should be this:

Chance of 185 misses on a number is (36/37)185

Chance of N misses on an EC is (19/37)N

So equating the two terms and solving for N gives:

(36/37)185 = (19/37)N

185 × log (36/37) = N × log(19/37)

N = 185 × log(36/37) / log(19/37) = 7.6

This has to be rounded down to 7 because you can have no more than 185 misses, and if you round it up to 8 it goes over 185.

yes, i thought it was somewhere around 8
still it is to small, too bad

Thanks soggett. Let's put this in context; 185 spins is equivalent to around 6 misses on an even chance - just 6!!!

So IMHO it's HIGHLY unlikely that this system could have achieved a 20k profit even as a one-off. I would leave well alone.

no problem

are you sure it is just 6?  :o :o

wow

I got to find that chart of yours

Depends on Casino

Eurogrand is 10c min chip and denomination

BV is 1c

So it's a 185 step progression. He says when ever you get a hit you make a Profit

U're the Math guy

3652 units is the minimum for a progression that puts you in plus when you hit, it covers 185 spins
wonder what to do when it hits on the 186 spin?  ;D

I specifically asked them this and used the example of double streets. I said I didn't really understand why EC's didn't count toward the bonus requirement and yet you could bet 3 double streets which is equivalent and it WOULD count. They replied that that's correct: ANY bets other than the EC and Dozen/column DO count towards paying off the bonus. They must have a good reason for this rule, even if it's not immediately obvious to us.

maybe because of the La partage rule (did I spell it right)?
you can't use it on the lines or streets
and you need more money to cover the lines/streets than an EC - which is both good and bad
good - you can do the bonus earlier since you are betting more money per spin
bad - you lose more money when you lose

or something else?

very nice results
have you considered having a stop loss of 36 units perhaps? since you go for 1 win only, going over 36 units will put you in minus on a win

Or you might want to consider playing longer sessions

quick test 100 spins
ends +78

Soon the moon is full. It keeps changing like the eyes of a cat. From the table we might not be able to see the natural light 8) and rhytms from the sun and the moon; but I believe  that we are under the influence. I do not intend to reach for the moon - or transcend TIME here. I feel fine and ready to supply you with the test results from table 3, June 2011. No spin came from there  23.06.2011. So I had only 29 hits or sessions.  The duration (number of spins): 89, 13, 13, 25, 15, 19, 22, 13, 11, 25, 52, 26, 18, 19, 31, 21, 31, 28, 60, 44, 22, 15, 25, 32, 17, 62, 30, 31, 26.
Units: -119+34+24+10+20+27+11+32+33-1-34-22+13+20-22+21+24-1-61-8+11+27-3+28+6-28+11-16+16  +53. :)
In total the first six months included 178 sessions or hits and resulted in +814 units.

very nice results
have you considered having a stop loss of 36 units perhaps? since you go for 1 win only, going over 36 units will put you in minus on a win

This is some results from Wiesbaden -
Jan 2012: +176
Feb 2012: +282
Mar 2012: -2
Apr 2012: -29

so that's 120 sessions for +427u.

The worst single sessions so far have been -140u & -108u.
This is with no money management at all, just flat-staking until a hit, then moving on to the first spins of the following day.

so you are playing for 1 hit a day?
why not more, like till you are in plus for that day?
how many spins per day is it on average?
