Sometimes it's best to let someone learn from their own mistakes (as long as it's not a life-threatening situation they're in)

Like I said -- painful lessons are generally the ones we tend not to forget.

I'm not understanding you. Why would you keep the truth a
secret? what's the point? that's how humanity has progressed,
we learn from the mistakes of those that came before us, because
they tell us about them. They say "Don't do that, it doesn't work,
and here's why." that's why every new generation doesn't have
to invent calculus and algebra, those who did invent it kindly showed
us what they did........

After all that pontificating about "the bleedin obvious" a little clue was totally missed -- the little devil icon.

So you agree that if somebody posts a losing system, and
you can prove it loses, its far better just to show him the
error of his ways than let him go on for months thinking
he's really found something?

Everything finally concludes, nothing can escape, everything has an end, everything ends

But in roulette, that's not really true. Random outcomes
constantly change, nothing is ever the same for long,
change is the only constant. Its dependable, you can
count on it.

And this is what drives system developers nuts. They're
in denial of this fact, they shove it to the outskirts of
their conciousness. Constant change and systems
don't mesh, they're water and oil. Until you accept the
constant change that's always unfolding, you'll always
be barking up the wrong tree.

People seem to learn best when there's a bit of pain involved.

No, people learn best when they're showed the error
of their ways by those that have been there. That's
why there are textbooks and schools and tests
and diplomas. Just letting people flounder around on
their own until they learn the right way (when you can
show them they right way) is a colossal waste of time.
With that attitude nobody would ever learn to read or
write or do basic math.

There's been too much negative posting thus far from those who seem to believe "there's my way and the wrong way".

If you know for a fact something doesn't work and say so,
how is that a negative post. It almost like people here want
to constantly discover gravity or the Martingale every other
day.

Punter A: Hey, I just found that if you double up after a loss
   I always come out ahead!

Punter B: Yeah, Um, I discovered the hard way that doesn't
   really work dude. Sorry.

Mod: Punter B, you are being banned for having a negative attitude.
How dare you kill the creativity of Punter A with your personal
claims. Just because you lost doesn't mean everybody
will lose. Take your horrible attitude somewhere else.

Ya know?

This is my last post on this subject now that JL has admitted
to being Fender. Under Fender1000 he got flat out busted
for joining VLS under an alias and singing the praises of his
own losing system and making wild claims about money he
won that were all lies. He's a fraud and a charleton, what
you see is what you get. This is not an accusation, its an
easily proved fact. Waste as much time as you like on his
baloney, its your time to waste.

Main reason of losses in gambling: betting.

Close. Its poor bet selection.

Go read some of Fender's posts on VLS. He writes
the same and sounds identical. Wild claims, hates
math, wait and see you'll be sorry, testing doesn't
work, on and on. Its Fender all right. He's a gamblng
forum troll, these guys get a kick out of getting everybody
all excited with their wild unsubstantiated claims.

Random outcomes obey no rules, none, nada. You
can't put them on a leash and make them do your
bidding.

Math has its place in the world. But when it comes to roulette NO, it falls short.

OK, I'm all ears. How and where does it fall
short. Where is it wrong and why. You surely
must know or you wouldn't make such a statement.

Superman says you're Fender1000 from the old
VLS forum. You had a system called The ZONE
that you made exactly the same claims about
2 years ago and it failed miserably. How is this
new thing any different.

I find discussions like this very interesting. Because
until somebody takes real money to a real casino
and starts really playing one of these systems on
a regular basis, that's all it will be, just a discussion.

The math never ever EVER lies. It can't lie, it won't
lie, it never lies. When you build an airplane or a ship
or a skyscraper, you can ingore the math and do it
'your' way. It'll look realy nice when you're done, probably.
Just don't expect it to fly, sail, or not fall down.

What makes anybody think gambling systems are any
different.

General Discussion / Re: Flat Betting System..?
December 02, 2012, 11:51:10 PM
For flat betting to work, you must have an excellent
bet selection process. Almost nobody concentrates
on BS, they all want the quick fix of a progression.

Finding good bet selection takes months and years
of study, better get started...  :stress:

Dozen/Column / Re: Second and Third Column
December 02, 2012, 02:36:17 AM
You can keep track of streaks and sleepers on the columns
by turning it into an EC. Track the 1st column and 2 5 8 11
14 17 from the 2nd column as one side, and the 3rd column
and 20 23 26 29 32 35 for the other side.

Record them as you would B/R and you can easily see when
streaks occur. It will also show you immediately which columns
are sleeping. For instance, if you see the 3rd column numbers
streaking, bet the 2nd and 3rd column. Your're only following
18 numbers, but betting on 24 gives you better odds of winning.

Bet selection is everything in roulette. Personally I would never
use a progression playing this way, you have a better chance
of leaving the table ahead just by flat betting. You don't need
a progression, you are depending on your bet selection method
to get ahead. You will always see streaks when the 1st or 3rd
columns are sleeping, and that's a lot sometimes. They can easily
sleep for 17 out of 20 spins sometimes. And when you see the
2nd colums sleeping, bet the 1st and 3rd. Don't get greedy and you
will be surprised how long you can last.

General Discussion / Re: Understanding Random Outcomes

An EC is an EC, they are no different. H/L tells
you what's going in with the pockets representing
H/L. R/B tells you about those pockets. Its about
the wheel, not the layout. Past outcomes tells
you which pockets the ball is favoring and which
pockets its ignoring. Forget the layout, that's just a
way of keeping score.

Does it? I thought random was just that... Random?

Once you learn how to read random, it no
longer looks confusing. Everything looks
confusing to the layman's eye.

If you have understood randmoness properly why don't you tell your way of beating/taming it?

Sure. I track past spins and from my experience in
practice and knowlege of how random works, I make
an educated guess as to what comes next. Flat bet,
make my win goal and go home.
