If you hit 6 out of 20 spins then flat betting will produce a loss so you will have to use your negative 8 step progression and hope you don't lose more than 8 in row.

How much do you bet on the next spin if you lose 8 spins in a row ?

Is that a negative progression where you increase bets on a loss or a positive progression where increase bets on a win ?

Might want to try this with baccarat :

0 = Banker

x = Player

However you will probably need 3 or 4 scoresheets taped together to handle a chart with about 80 bac decisions

Also this method can be very, very subjective.

Might also apply to baccarat as player and banker as opposed to even chance roulette......assuming you can come up with a winning method.

The Future Gambler book is for sale on Amazon for $ 999.11 ..........Ouch!!!!!!

Can this book be worth that price ?

If you are playing a negative expectation game, you have to win more on your winning bets than you lose on losing bets.

That's what the above sinple MM structures illustrate.

If you can get close to 50 % winners long term, a conservative MM structure and sufficient bankroll should make you a long term winner.

The shorter the level, the higher the risk.  A MM structure such as

1   1   1

2  2   2

3  3   3

will lose 18 units if you bust the bankroll if you lose 9 bets in a row

A  MM with this structure  will be more conservative

1   1   1    1    1    1   1    1

2    2

3    3

You will also lose 18 units if you bust the bankroll, but you will have to lose 12 bets in a row compared to 9 bets in the other MM.

The reason he is betting $ 11 and not $ 10 is because the example in the book is for sports betting where you have to bet $ 11 to win $ 10.

For baccarat or for even chances on dice or roulette, you would bet what the progression says,  $ 10, $ 20 etc etc

Basically its the standard 3 level money management method whcih can be modified to 4 or 5 levels or changed to different bet sizes depending on your bankroll and risk you are willing to assume such as :

10  10  10

20  20  20

40   40   40

Or

10  10  10   10   10  10   10   10 10 10

20  20 20  20

30  30  30  30  30

There are literally hundreds of ways you can construct the money management method. It all boils down to the fact that you have win more money on your winning bets than you lose on your losing bets if you play a negative expectation game such as bac  or roulette or dice.
