Personally, I'm partial to Bellagio's. First class atmoshphere along with well trained professional staff.
The ranking IMO is reasonable and justified. I've played many times at all (except Aria). I seldom play at Aria but hear good things from locals, so I don't have an informed opinion.

Red Rock is nice, clean, and a quiet atmosphere. I don't play there very often.

Any and all opinions are welcomed.

Well, my opinion from actual years of experience.

Caesars Palace.  Lots and lots of great times. Great dealers, staff and other personnel.  Huge experience and with the casino patron is right personalities, etc.  Note:  The article with the link refers to mostly 200.00 min tables in high limit.  Not true.  $100.00/$10,000.00 is the base table and always plenty of them.

Bellagio.  Lot and lots of great times as well. Great dealers and staff no doubt.  Not as accommodating with casino patrons as Caesars, but case by case basis might change that.  Equally a great property with huge high limit room.  I am partial to the well known restaurants a bit more than the ones at Caesars, but they are close in taste, style and pricing (if you have to pay out of pocket).

The Mirage.  A bit lower class and style than both the above, but had some great trips and games there without a doubt when it was under the MGM umbrella.  Have not been there since it was sold and a bit prior to that.  Their bac high limit was super great in most all ways.

Gold Coast.  Another type of property compared to the above three.  Usually crowded and lots of verbal arguments and fighting about anything and everything.  Mostly $2,000/$2,500 and $5,000 max tables.  Min's depend on crowd and time of day.

Red Rock.  Great relaxed and beautiful quiet property.  High limit was nice with 4 bac tables.  $50/$100-$10,000 max unless you have larger front money or credit account set-up.  Very accommodating and players are valuable there.

Planet Hollywood.  Had some fantastic times there.  Was great all around property for countless reasons.

Lots of comments (neg) about The Wynn, Venetian-Palazzo as well, but will reserve those. Played plenty at another 10 plus properties as well.

The above is the top 5-6 properties IMO.

Actually we particularly like Wynn as the money won there it's worth double. Just to contradict the owner that once sayed that the only way to make money at a casino is to own one
Well, not everytime mr Steve!

Bellagio, CP, MGM Grand and Aria probably are the best casinos to play baccarat in Vegas, providing to be emotionally insensitive to the action and mood of the worst tourist players (losers) in the world.
Venetian/Palazzo are so so, most of the times there is very few action.

Then there are the off Strip premises crowded by locals where sometimes acute players are spottable.
Those casinos are Palms, Gold Coast, Palace Station and on the far left side of the town Rampart and Red Rock.

Strip or off Strip and from a technical point of view, in our opinion a good rule of thumb would be to only join tables where a machine shuffles the cards.

Good thoughts everyone.

Do you happen to have a list of Vegas casinos with "machine shuffle" ?? What about Biloxi, MS casinos?

Im guessing your list above of top four Vegas cas do indeed have machine shuffles.

Thx,

Hi KFB!

Basically when players are not allowed to touch the cards a machine is used, so yes every casino in the list offer machine shuffled shoes (By now we do not know about CP).

Sometimes new fresh decks are shuffled by a machine even if touching the cards is allowed, but obviously we're not interested to play them as a played shoe is discarded and not alternatively reintroduced with an additional one in the machine.

About Biloxi you should ask Alrelax, maybe he knows.

Hi AsymBacGuy
Thank you for the prompt reply.

I misworded my initial question. I meant to ask about CSM (Continuous Shuffle Machines)in Vegas.

*Most of my casinos in the Midwest, USA utilize two 6-deck blocks of cards and alternate when one block has been completely dealt. It doesn't matter if they are ordered as preshuffled they still run through the shuffle machine. When one 6-deck block has been completely dealt the block currently in the shuffle machine is brought out/ribboned(cut and burn procedure completed), placed in the table-top smart shoe, then dealt to the end,...etc.

I found an informative link below regarding shuffle machines.

A deep dive into Continuous Shuffle Machines

Hope everyone has a good week,

In my part if the central to upper Midwest, all I believe are using 8 deck shoes.

The non-Macau style games are all using dual deck continuous shuffle decks.  Once the shoe is finished, the dealer removes approximately one deck from the discard tower and washes on the table.  Repeats 8 times.  Then reinserts into the machine.  Removes the other shuffled stack, cuts, burns, places into shoe.

Macau style games are a bit different all over.  But most in Midwest and Vegas are basically, pre shuffled shoe in locked plexiglass container is put on table from floor supervisor, zip lock ID cut & opened, deck cut by player if desired and cards burned.

I have witnessed a few casinos willing to do a quick mini shuffle of those after pre-shuffled shoe opened.  Depends on property and staff.

Good info. If I recall correctly Asym has mentioned in previous posts that Continuous Shuffle Machines seem to produce different types of streaks vs other shuffle procedures.

*re: shuffles. I think I have mentioned in posts a couple years ago about two instances that made me pause/think about the shuffle.

A) I was the only player at a table in KC, Missouri, USA, as the dealer was opening it for the day. This was probably 15 years or so ago. The dealer kept doing the ribbon on the table, running the shoes back through the shuffler(I don't recall the type), and then doing the ribbon again. The dealer motions to the pit mgr and says "it keeps telling me Jokers are in the deck but they are absolutely not." Finally, the Pit Mgr tells him "F--k it just get the game going. It was one of the most erratic, streaky, and most fantastic shoes I have ever played.

B) I was at a casino on the outskirts of Vegas. I was first player at table an the lady dealer is prepping to open the table/the pit mgr. comes by table telling her to hurry up. She says, "I accidentally did a blackjack shuffle". He says something to the nature of "F--k it just get the game started as we are 15mins late,...etc." Again, a very streaky, erratic, and fantastic shoe and win for me.
I didn't notice the shuffle machine or what she had done prior(preshuffled decks or not,..etc). I still do not understand what she could have meant by saying "I accidentally did a blackjack shuffle". Maybe the shuffler had the option for different types of games shuffle?? Maybe a longer or shorter shuffle time (e.g., 1 min, 2min,5min,..etc).Maybe something she did manually prior to shuffle,..etc.

Continued Success,

KFB: I misworded my initial question. I meant to ask about CSM (Continuous Shuffle Machines)in Vegas.

Besides the Venetian Theater (where almost nobody plays there), I do not know any Vegas casino offering bac shoes shuffled by a CSM.
For that matter we have never seen CSM working at baccarat tables worldwide.

Anyway and unlike black jack where ' no hint' people keep betting at CSM decks, I'm pretty sure that no serious bac player would risk the money at those CSM tables.
I strongly discourage anyone to play when a CSM is involved.

Machines I was referring to are produced by the famous SHFL brand.
Perfectly randomly shuffled or not, once a shoe is ready to be played we must be sure the succession to remain untouched.

Thanks for the link and for the couple of real life situations you presented.

Let's clarify the auto shuffler and the continuous shuffling machines.

The auto shuffler is used at bac tables as well as other card games that the dealer is not depositing every hand played back into the shuffler.  If the dealer is, then it is a continuous shuffling machine.

In baccarat, I have never ever seen them used or heard of them being used.

As far as the auto shuffler being used in bac, they are used with smart self reading shoes as well as without a smart self reading shoe.
